Hi Stampers - 

I have to say a big thank you to Holly for jumping in and subbing for me the last few weeks as we have been getting Grandma settled into skilled care at the Nursing Home. She is hanging in there but is ready to go home already! We have our first meeting with her care nurse on Monday to see how she is doing with her physical therapy and adjusting to being there.

I also wanted to say thank you for all the prayers and well wishes and for hanging in there with us during these rough times for our family. I am lucky to be switching to a day-shift position for the month of June and the I took the month of July off from my other job so that will help me get things back on track faster! It has been tough trying to be at the Nursing home to keep Grandma's spirits up and working night shifts and trying to work in sleep, the store, and everything. I was lucky to be able to get a co-worker to switch shifts with me for June so that will really help! My last night shift for the next 2 months was last night! I will be working as quickly as I can to get caught up with things so I appreciate all the support!

Happy Friday Stampers!

Do you have any exciting plans this weekend? I am not telling you mine, quite yet, because every time I say it...something comes up - LOL - so I am not jinxing myself this time! All I am going to say is keep checking our "New Items" category in the store because there will be lots to see :)

As you know Fridays are Holly-Days here! Holly is super sweet and talented and has just been appointed as our new Design Team Coordinator! I am super excited to have her helping me out!! I know that she will do an amazing job :)

Check out Holly's fabulous inspiration card for today...

This is adorable! Check out those paper pieced outfits - LOL!! That made me laugh! Holly used the super cute papers from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh Collection. We have some of their gorgeous Fall and Holiday Papers that should be arriving early next week :) YAY! Super excited for those!

That fabulous group of ladies is called Picture Perfect and is from the Girlfriends Collection from Art Impressions. We will be adding this line as soon as we are able to! I hope that when I am an "old lady" that I have as much fun as these ladies. I still have many years to go...just don't ask how many - LOL!  ;)  Now these ladies are not "old" looking, but I said that because I took a 911 call from a college age male, who needed an ambulance. There was a lady that had fainted in a store and he witnessed it. One of the questions we ask is "How old is the patient?" He said, "I don't know but she is elderly." If they do not know we ask them to tell us approximately....so I asked... and he said (and I am seriously NOT kidding) "Oh, I don't know 30! " LOL! Are you serious? 30... elderly? LOL! So I was BEYOND an ELDERLY person to this kid that day - LOL!

Holly did an amazing job coloring these ladies with her copic markers and airbrush. Those awesome "brads" are not real brads but one of our newest additions to the store... Candi Dots! This is the Holly Berries color. They are super cool and Holly has been rockin' them on her projects since she got them in the mail!!

Well I better Skee-Daddle (as all of us "elderly folks" would say) and get some work done in the store :)

Please keep our East Coast Friends in your thoughts and prayers! I did want to mention that Sassy Cheryl's Digi's has an awesome deal if you like digital stamps. This weekend she has her What's up Turkey? images for sale for $2.00 each. They are the cutest ever! She is donating half the proceeds to the Red Cross from the sales - through the 4th. I have purchased mine :) Now I just need to practice using digi stamps, because I am a digi challenged individual!

Nappy Time

Hi All -

First off I wanted to say thank you for putting up with me this week. I have been running behind all week due to family issues, first with my Grandma and then my Son. I should be back on track and schedule after today! My day will be spent packaging up customer orders and getting those ready to ship tomorrow morning and then I will be hitting my stampin studio to get my projects done for this week!

Today's card is created by the mega talented Jacqueline Smith! I just saw on her blog that she has been asked to join a new design team! Congratulations to Jacqueline!! She will do an awesome job :)

After the week I had...I can TOTALLY RELATE to this poor lady - LOL! Jacqueline used the Asleep on the job image from Art Impressions which she colored with prismacolor pencils. She does awesome coloring with those. I need to break mine out and use them more. You will have to visit Jacqueline's blog to see all the details on the products she used to create this beautiful job. I am loving her background paper which is from Graphic 45.

I better get busy packing up orders, I apologize for falling behind this week! Hoping this coming week will be back to normal with no unforseen issues!

A Little Math Problem for ya!

Good early evening this time stampers :)

Hope you are having a wonderful day so far! Mine is just starting - LOL! I stayed up this morning when I got off work to be sure to get some cutomer orders packaged and sent off before hitting the hay so I slept a little later than I should but it happens :)

Yay for two days off - LOL! Actually only one day because tomorrow night I have to go into work and review all the medical calls the dispatch center received and make sure everyone is following the protocols correctly. But anytime I have a free moment I plan on listing, listing, and listing some new goodies in the store and work more on the MFT preorders. It's taking me a lot longer than I planned and I apologize for that!

Here is today's card for you... this one makes me giggle...because I can totally relate to these ladies...LOL!

Isn't this hilarious? I feel like this too because I haven't got to ride my bike or really work out for the last two weeks...UGH! This super cute card was created by our very own design team member, Jacqueline Smith! She used the adorable stamp set from Art Impressions called Weigh In from their Girlfriends Series. We will be adding the Girlfriends to our store as soon as we can! Right now we have the super cute Shoppe Windows line from Art Impressions, which also has some cute funnies!

I am always blown away by Jacqueline's ability to layer and all of the gorgeous textures in her cards. I know if I tried to do that it would look like I took everything in my stamp room and stuck it on my card - LOL! The colors that Jacqueline chose are so pretty and her coloring is beautiful as always! LOVE IT!! That saying just cracks me up...LOL! Wouldn't that be nice? Especially if you had skinny friends :D

It always cracks me up when the day's design team post project seems to fit so perfectly into  how my day is going!

Design Team member Jacqueline Smith created this hilarious card! I absolutely LOVE the Art Impressions People Series and we will be getting them into our store soon. Considering I overslept this morning and was late for work... I can totally relate to this - LOL! And I could use a nap!

I love how Jacqueline colored her image with prismacolor pencils. She has some mad coloring skills!! I love everything about this... the colors, that gorgeous bow, the layout... Jacqueline did an awesome awesome job! I am sure her brother-in-law will LOVE it! Those cute ticket sentiments are from the Whimsy Stamps Raindrop Echo Collection called Celebration Mini Tickets.
