Friends are the Ornaments of Life...

Hi Stampers -

Happy Holly-Day Friday! Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? I work this weekend so nothing super exciting for us :) I have been busy, busy getting the Black Friday orders shipped out! Thanks to everyone that shopped with us! We really appreciate it :)

My goal for the weekend is to get my ginormous pile of laundry folded and put away so we can put up the Christmas tree.

Today we have a super cute project from Holly using one of the cutest snowman stamps ever...

I totally LOVE this! I love how the snowman pops off the Kraft cardstock and that brilliant coloring is awesome! I love the designer paper that Holly chose too. Such an adorable CAS design!

Here are the products that Holly used:

If you get a chance to get crafty...be sure to play along in our ANYTHING GOES challenge this week!

Be a Friend

Hi Stampers!

I can't believe that it is DECEMBER already and that Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye! I really really need to get my hiney in gear and get some of the handmade gifts I want to do ...started and done! I really need to start making stuff in January and do something each month so when this time of year comes I can relax and be almost done with things....but that would make sense and show some organization - LOL! Maybe I will make that one of my New Year's Resolutions this year :)

As you know Mondays here on our blog are always a good time because we get to see a super cute project from Olivia! Olivia was the very first Designer that we had join our team way back when we first started :)

Here is Olivia's adorable project for your inspiration...

Products Olivia Used:

Awww! I LOVE this! The colors are so pretty and I love the rich tones that Olivia colored this up with! Check out the bling on her dress, shows and these sparkly brads! Gorgeous stuff and bling makes everything better!

I just want to remind you that we still have our BLACK FRIDAY special in effect until MIDNIGHT CST tonight! You can save 25% off any size order just by using - BLACKFRIDAY as a coupon code!

We also have posted a DESIGN TEAM CALL  for our next term which will be from January 1st - April 30th. You can see all the details in this blog post! We hope you will apply - you don't have to have any experience in design team work, so if you have never been on a team before don't let that stop you from trying :)

Have a great day all and thanks for stopping by!

Video Tutorial - TISSUE HOLDER

Hi Stampers!

Hope that your weekend is going well! Seems like F-O-R-E-V-E-R since I chatted with you because Holly has been doing such an AWESOME job doing the Inspiration posts :) But I guess it has only been since Tuesday - LOL! I have been busy, busy so it really helps me out a lot to pop over here to do a post and see that she has done it - especially this time of year when orders are a lot heavier with the Holidays coming! And WAAAAAY too fast I might add!!

Have you done any Christmas Shopping yet? I haven't and I was mortified to realize that my husband and I only have TWO paychecks until Christmas!!! We each only get paid twice a month and both on the same day, so ... YIKES!! I am going to have to be figuring out, first, what I am going to get and then budget it out between the two. It wouldn't be so bad except my kids are older, so everything they want is like $600 - LOL...you know chump change stuff - LOL!

Every year I swear I am going to make some hand made gifts too. I really need to do that in January and make something each month instead of deciding about now that I really should try and make some things, and then having no time to do them. LOL! I never learn - LOL!

Today we have a GORGEOUS project for you by our Video Designer - Indah! She created this absolutely adorable Tissue Holder which is PERFECT for this time of year when everyone seems to catch colds.

I think this is such a cute project! I love these Anya images from Miss Anya Scarves by The Greeting Farm that Indah used! They are one of my favorite collections. I think that Indah did a beautiful job coloring Miss Anya - really pops against the beautiful papers that she chose!

Indah colored Miss Anya with copic markers after stamping her using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. This is one of the best inks to use when you are going to color with any type of alcohol marker!

Here is the Video Tutorial on how you can make your own tissue holder...

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Hi Stampers!

It's Holly-Day Friday here! YAY! Only one more night of work before 2 much needed nights off...can't wait! Do you have any fun plans this weekend? We have our nephew's prayer benefit Saturday night and the rest of my time off I hope to get a little cleaning done and then get inky :) All while staying in my comfy PJ's as much as possible :D

Today we have a super super cute card from Holly using the Pirate Henry from the Roberto's Rascals collection from C.C. Designs.

I LOVE this card - it is so adorable! I really love the way Holly used the Frantage!! I have just loaded some Frantage kits into the store :) This stuff is addicting once you start using it - but so fun!! Holly's coloring is so pretty! I really love the layout and Designer papers too! Awesome way to start the weekend - getting a dose of Holly-Day Inspiration :)

Here is a list of products that Holly used on her card...

Have a great weekend! Remember we have an Anything Goes Challenge going this week!! So if you are getting crafty...be sure to join us and show it off :)

Love You Dearly

Hi Stampers!

Hope are all having a great week so far! Mine has been better. I was feeling pretty cruddy yesterday with stomach issues. I am feeling a bit better today so that is good.

Today we have a lovely change of pace from Halloween projects for you from Ceal.

This would be a cute project for many different occasions! Ceal used the Paper Smooches Pretty Phrases stamp set. We will be adding many new Paper Smooches sets hopefully soon! Ceal paired this with the Impression Obsession Paper Cone Die. I will also be adding many Impression Obsession Stamps and their dies as preorders as well. I think this little bouquet of hearts is so sweet!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you have any crafting time this week...be sure to play along in our Anything Goes Challenge!

Have a great day!

Sweet Calendula

Hi Stampers!

Hope you had a great weekend! I was off and got caught up on a few things around the house, not as caught up as I hoped but that is usually the story of how things go - LOL! Saturday night my husband and son and I went to see the movie Gravity finally! The version that was playing in the theater was the 3D version and all I can say is WOW! 3D has come a long long way since the old blue and red paper glasses - LOL! The imagery and the 3D effects were really, really good! There was one scene where Sandra Bullock's character was crying and a tear came off her cheek and was floating away towards you in the theater. It kept coming and coming and you literally felt as if you could reach up and touch it. Which was pretty cool! It is an intense movie though, but I would recommend it :)

Today we have an adorable project created by Olivia using the super sweet Pure Innocence Calendula from My Favorite Things.

I love this image and had never heard of a Calendula flower before I saw this image. Then I learned that a Calendula is a Marigold - which is what I know them as - LOL! See stamping can be educational! I really love all the summery prints and colors between the different designer papers, twine and the way Olivia colored this cutie up! That blue is so pretty for the flower! Those beautiful papers and the flower accent are from the Echo Park Beautiful Life 12x12 Paper and Accessories Kit.

Such a pretty card! Makes me miss Summer already :) Be sure to check out our new items section in the store this week...have LOTS of new things that will be listed over the week!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Video Tutorial - TREAT POUCH

Hi Stampers!

Hope you are having a great weekend! I have some plans to get inky this afternoon and get some projects made (I HOPE) and then I really want to work on my craft studio some so I can get moved into it one of these days and be able to stop crafting out of boxes and piles on my desk - LOL! It would really help to be able to see what I have and what I need a lot easier - that is for sure!

Today is Saturday which means that we have a super fun new Video Tutorial for you from Indah! This week she is going to share with you how to create this adorable treat pouch:

You can really use these for any occasion you might need a little treat gift for! You can just customize them with papers and stamps that coordinate with the look you are going for!  That stunning rosette on the front was created using the My Favorite Things Die-Namics 1/4" Rosette Die and Spellbinders Dies.

Here is the Video Tutorial to show you how you can do these yourself!

This little treat pouch would be a PERFECT project for this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge of A Trick or a Treat! We hope you will play along with us!

Have a wonderful day all and thanks for stopping by today!

Primative Pumpkin Jars.

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Friday!  It's my turn to show you some inspiration.  This week our Challenge is trick or treat - make a tricky card or a treat holder.  I always say I don't care for 3D projects and then when I am forced to do one, I see a potential project everywhere I go, lol.   so I guess I really do love them!   This is what I made for today:

This is a set of small glass jars filled with M&M's.  Some Candy Corn M&M's, Some fall colored milk chocolate, and some Peanut butter flavor M&M's.

Here is a close up of one.  I had so much fun decorating the backs of these that I had to show it.

Now are you ready for the front?  It's a bit busy!

I told you I had to much fun! lol.  My little Monster was made with a tag and banner topper from the new Blueprints dies, see list of products here:

I love this new Halloween paper.  I used it the next day I got my order! The Best Glue Ever is perfect for adhering paper to glass.  No mess, no fuss, and it's not going anywhere.  I highly recommend it.
Laura has been busy, busy, busy adding new goodies to the store!  See the New Items list!
Be sure to stop by tomorrow and see Indah's fabulous new video!  And Sunday for our Design Team Blog Hop!!!

Here is a little piece of sunshine from Olivia just for you...

A bright, fun and funky Fairy from the Karen Middleton Collection from Sweet Pea Stamps! I think this is so pretty with the warm Fall colors and that gorgeous embellishment! I love how Olivia colored her image and check out her shading in the frame around the image! It looks perfect, almost like a ruffled ribbon with the different shades of copics! Such a pretty design and gorgeous Echo Park papers!!

Well it is almost time for me to get off work and go out in this FREEZING weather! Thanks for stopping by today & stay warm :)

Coffee! Coffeee! Coffeeeee!!

Good Morning Stampers!!

We have a special COFFEE TREAT for you this morning! As you can tell I am excited as I love all things coffee! I am sipping a ginormous cup of Amaretto Coffee this morning... as we speak... with some hot chocolate in it to make it more of an Amaretto Mocha. No booze in it though...LOL...just Amaretto FLAVORED :) I am also drinking it out of my 20 oz soup mug that looks exactly like a massive, over-sized coffee mug soooo that is what I use it for - LOL! Half the pot in one cup...yes please! LOL! I think if they didn't want me to use it as a coffee mug...it shouldn't look like one :)

Indah has created an amazing amazing amazing and absolutely ADORABLE on so many levels project and video tutorial for you today!! Take a look...

Now what did I say...isn't this AMAZING!!! Indah created this cute little card using Cafe Ian from The Greeting Farm! I love this image and I think he is giggling at the size of my coffee cup since it IS almost as big as my head - LOL! Indah stamped him in memento tuxedo black ink before coloring him with copics. Her coloring is stunning! I really love the corrugated layers behind the image! C-H-E-C-K O-U-T that super cute designer paper! I really need to find some like that! It is so cute and it is totally one I would hoard use :)

Now check out Indah's Video Tutorial on how she created this super cute project!!

Be sure to leave Indah some love on her blog today and let her know what you thought of her project and video!! I know it mean a lot to her to hear what you think :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and having some coffee with me :)

Java a great day....I know I know...but I HAD to throw a coffee pun in here somewhere :D

Rock Star

Hi Friends and Stampers!

Happy Holly - Day Friday!  Whooo Hoooo it's the weekend!  What are your plans for the weekend?  Whatever it is, I hope you have a Rock Star weekend!

I love this stamp and die set, and I have many more plans for it!  My husband likes those video games with guitar hero and I have plenty of pics of those times to scrap, lol.   Same with my son. I used the Distressed backgrounds block and inked it up with Grey Flannel and then stamped it off once before stamping on the blue paper.  I inked up the Rock Star in Tangelo Ink.  I had a silver pen from somewhere, and colored in the embosses areas of the guitar to add some dimension.  I love this doodlebug paper, boys only,  and it's so perfect to use with this image.  What's more, I remembered I had it! lol.

Now I have to be a rock star this weekend and work, but I tell you, I have had the best day today that it makes up for it.  I'm still in my Jammies and I've had the oldies music cranking and I've just made cards and drank coffee, lol.   I feel so spoiled but I love being relaxed and having mojo all at the same time.

So while I am working, I hope you will get inky and join us for our current challenge!   You will also want to see the NEW ITEMS that Laura has been busy adding to the store!

Thanks for checking in on us,

Holly

You Make My World Go Round

Hi Stampers!

It is a super gorgeous Fall Day today...just a tad on the windy side but not overly cold which is good! It would be a perfect day to go for a walk...which I hope to squeeze in today before work tonight! We will see how it goes :)

Today we have a really cute card to share from Ceal!

Is this adorable or what?!?! I love the pops of color with the little Ferris Wheel from the Lawn Fawn stamp set Admit One. I love how Ceal colored these with the different color copics and how the little arm to the car is a different color for each one too :) Ceal chose the perfect designer paper to use as well! I wish I could be as clever as Ceal when making CAS cards! I really love how this has a kraft colored base, instead of the typical white for CAS designs. I am kind of a Kraft junkie and could probably use it in some way on every project if I let myself - LOL! This is just a simple and very well crafted CAS design! LOVE this one!

Well...I better get back to working in the store ... if I can stay off Pinterest long enough to do something productive - Gah! LOL! I have been working like a crazy lady listing all the Make It Crafty we have just got in!! Only 19 more stamps to go....not that I am counting or anything - LOL! Then I can start on something else...probably Magnolia stamps and dies...have a TON of those to get done too :)

Have a great day all and thanks for stopping by today!

Hi Stampers!

Sorry for the late post today. Right after I woke up this afternoon I had to head to town to meet my sister for a night full of errands!

Today we have a super cute card by Ceal for you...

This cute little witch is a Tiddly Inks image. Now this particular witch is a digi stamp but they do offer a couple of cute witches in clear stamp form witch we have in the store - LOL! Couldn't resist :)

A Star is Born

Hi Stampers!

Happy Monday! I am excited because I only work tonight and then have a couple days off - YAY! I am so looking forward to trying to get some much needed crafty time once I can find my desk. It is a horrible, pathetic mess right now and super uninspiring because I know I NEED to desperately clean it off before I can make ANYTHING! Darn messy desks anyway - LOL!!

Well...we didn't make it to see the movie Gravity over the weekend. Maybe on my days off this week we will make it! If anyone has seen it... What did you think? We went to my nephew Jayden's 4th birthday party Saturday Evening. That was pretty fun! We found out that a friend of our's daughter and her friend have a crush on our son Austin! The two girls were super excited that Austin was coming to the party but since we had to wait until Tim got off work and were late they had left before they could see him. So Jenny (her Mom) made sure to take Austin's picture and send it to them once he arrived! LOL! Teenagers :) He just shook his head and was embarrassed :)

Here is today's super gorgeous card from Olivia!

Olivia used the stunning Birth of a Star by Rachel Anderson for Sweet Pea Stamps. I love the colors of this and the way the cloudy sky is really subtle. Those corner flourishes are so beautiful! I really love the layout and the designer papers that Olivia chose. They are from the Authentique Thankful Paper Pack.
Olivia colored this up with copic markers. I love how it turned out!

I will be adding a large batch of various Artists from Sweet Pea Stamps as preorders in the near future so be watching for those! You can also sign up for our newsletter to be advised when they are available also :)

Have a great day all & thanks for stopping!
