Love You Always!

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!  It's Marcy here and I have a fun Valentine's Day card to share with you all for today's Inspiration Day!

Here is my card...

So my inspiration came from a card by Kristina Werner in which she made a background by water coloring with distress inks.  You can find her beautiful card here!  I just have so much fun water coloring and am loving all the great techniques I'm seeing out there.   I took some Tim Holtz water color paper (Oh no, my last piece!) and then added lots of water and some fun Tim Holtz distress inks in shades of pinks and purples.  And voila... a fun and pretty cool looking background!!!  The adorable image on my card is by Tiddly Inks called Friends are Flowers.  I had so much fun coloring up cute Wryn with my Copics.  I also added some polka dots to her dress with my white gel pen and then Wink of Stella all over her outfit  and heart flowers.  The sentiment was stamped onto my paper using Versamark Ink and then embossed with some white embossing powder from my stash.  Of course, I couldn't resist scattering some sequins all over my card!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Friends are Flowers - Tiddly Inks
Seedless Preserves - Tim Holtz distress ink
Picked Raspberry - Tim Holtz distress ink
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Shaded Lilac - Tim Holtz distress ink
Water Color paper - Tim Holtz
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Hope my card gives you some inspiration to try some water coloring and playing with distress inks!

Enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Flying High

I have another special card with balloons. It is balloon season with congratulations! Tons of birthdays and tons of graduations! So this card fits all themes I think.

I tried hard to figure the pleats out and that just didn't work out. I still think the image looks good but not GREAT! It was still such a fun image to color!

You Shine

Hi everyone. Shanna here for another day of inspiration. You will love the card I have today to share with you today!

I kept it simple as I really wanted the image to "Shine". I love these style of Tiddly images and the hair is such a fun challenge for me. I also enjoyed coloring the balloons.

The balloons got a coat of glossy accents to add some shine.

The image of course was colored with copics!

The sentiment I gave some dimensions just to give the card some pop.

So hope you were inspired to do a little stamping today!

Birthday Wishes!

Happy Friday Friends!

It's Athina here for some fun inspiration.  Are you ready for Memorial Day weekend?  To me it starts off the summer.  I can't believe it is here already.  Where does time go?  We have some super fun plans....  Work day at grandma's, then home to clean out the garage, our annual church picnic and then cleaning the barn.  The weather should be just perfect!

Today's card is a cute birthday card with an image by Tiddly Ink - Birthday Wishes.  I am really liking these images.  THey are lots of fun!   I finished it off with some Wild Orchid Flowers - Roses, lace and ribbon for some more fun.

Make sure to come and join our Fun with names challenge this week at Loves Rubberstamps!  Also check out the New Items in the store this week by C.C. Designs!

It's Your Big Day

Good day everyone. It is a new Thursday which means some inspiration from me, Shanna.

Can you believe it is already MAY!!! I cannot. Summer will be here before you know it and pools will be opening up and it will be my birthday soon!  So I decided for some inspiration a birthday card would be fun to share!

So for my card I used a Tiddly Inks image Ellie Says Happy Birthday and colored her with copics on copic paper. I matched the image up with some My Mind's Eye papers (Flair) and finished it of with a MFT sentiment from the Big Greetings stamp set

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sweet! Friday Inspiration with Athina

Happy Friday Friends!

It's Athina here, happy to be back to share a little inspiration that had me stepping outside my comfort zone.    Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?  Not sure yet here what we will be up to.  Maybe some work on the house.  I guess we will play it by ear and see what happens.

I am not typically a soft pastel color kinda girl.  But I got this new paper pack by Bazzill and I just love the papers, so I thought I would give it a try.  I have made a 4.25 x 5.25 card to stick in a birthday present for one of my nieces.  I used bright colors on the image for more fun.  The image is
Tiddly Inks - Sweets for my Sweet.   I added some lace & a heart doily by Wild Orchid Crafts.

Supplies Used:

Bazzill Patterned Paper  - Vintage Market Place

Laura has been teasing us with lots of new items to be added to the store.  So be sure to check back often.  Also, make sure to stop by and play along with us in the Anything Goes Challenge.

That is it for me today!  Have a great weekend and we will see you back next week.
Blessings until next time...

Skating By! Friday Inspiration with Athina

Hello Friends!

It is Friday again (FINALLY!), so that means it is Athina here to provide a little bit of inspiration.  It has been a busy week here with traveling and playing catch up from being back.  I headed south to Atlanta and Birmingham to see a catalytic converter smelter process.  Very cool how they take a dirty car part and turn it back into precious metals to be used again!

I have to tell you that I pinned a card a while back that was my inspiration for today's card.  You can find it here!  I have used Tiddly Ink - Skating By image, I just love her and thought she fit very well in the design of the card.  I did a little air brushing with Copics in the background!  I also used a liquid applique to add the puffiness to her hat and sleeves.  A full list of enabling supplies is included below for your shopping pleasure.

Supplies used:

Be sure to stop by and join us this in this weeks Loves Rubberstamps Anything Goes Challenge!  Just show us what you have created and posted!  Also, I have been seeing some new goodies loaded in the store!  I have a gift certificate burning a whole in my pocket!  I must shop soon!

You are Special - Friday Inspiration with Athina

Hello Friends!

We have made it to Friday once again, so that means Athina here to share some more inspiration with you!  I have spent my week out in warm California, what a great change from here in Ohio where it has been frigid.  The weather was in the low 60's, but it felt like summer to me.  It is very funny how you get used to a temperature, the locals were all freezing.  It was nice to get away, but I am glad to be back and sharing some fun inspiration with you today.

I found this cute little Tiddy Inks, Celebrate Joyfully image in the store.  I just love her! She is colored with Copics and cut out with the Large Oval Spellbinders die.    I kept the background very simple, which was actually a challenge for me.  But I like stepping out of that comfort zone once in a while.  The background papers are by My Minds Eye.  The sentiment is from C. C. Designs - Amy R - Be Happy.  It is stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink.

Supplies Used:
Spellbinders  - Large Oval

Cardabilities Sketch # 92

Laura has been busy adding many fun items to the store this week!  So make sure to stop by and check out the New Items section.  I have a gift certificate I need to spend, but have been holding off so I can see all the fun new goodies.

Also be sure to come over and enter your latest creation in our weekly challenge.  This week is Anything Goes!

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hope! Friday Inspiration with Athina

Hello Friends!

It's Athina here, so that means we have made it to the end of the week!  Friday is finally here!  It is also the end of January.  Where did the month go?  My goodness, it flew by so quick.  I can say it has been a very cold and snowy winter here and I am more than ready for spring.  So there leads to my title....Hope!  I am hoping that spring arrives very quickly this year!

I colored up this little cutie, Tiddly Inks - Fairy Tenderhearted, with copics and used Spellbinders - Labels 24 to cut out the image.  The shape ended up being perfect.  I used Simple Stories - Fabulous & My Mind's Eye for my background.  I think she looks so delicate that I used some Wild Orchid Flowers and lace to finish her off.  Then added a ticket "Hope" as I thought it fit the image perfectly!

Don't forget to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all the fun stuff!   Also, be sure to stop by and play in our challenge this week!  It's very easy, all you have to do is use lace.  That is it for me today.  Have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs,
Athina

Live, Love, Laugh!

Hello!

It's Athina here for Friday Inspiration!

I hope if you were hit with the frigid temps that you have made it through safely!  I don't think I have ever felt a cold like that in my life.  We had temps of -12* with wind chills of -40*.   Well, today this cute little Tiddly Inks image may just warm your heart! Aren't they just the cutest little couple you have ever seen?

I decided to put away my design paper and see what I could do with just solid sheets of card stock.  I wanted to use just two colors of paper, purple and white. I started with a white card stock and folded it into a 5.25 x 5.25 base.  Then cut a purple piece of card stock to 5 inches square.  I ran a white piece of card stock through my Vagabond with a paisley embossing plate for the background and cut it to 4.75 inches square.  I added some sheer ribbon and lace to fancy it up a bit.  I think the Tiddly Inks, Love Fully needs some fancy embellishments!

For the image, I stamped it with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with copics. It was a fun image to play with and I think they are just warm and adorable.  After I colored the image, I cut it out with Spellbinders, large ovals, and then cut a frame with the Spellbinders scalloped ovals.  I elevated the image with pop dots.  Finally, I added some flowers and Magnolia dew drops to finish it off.

Supplies Used:
Spellbinders - Large Ovals & Scalloped Ovals
Magnolia Dew Drops

Be sure to stop by Loves Rubberstamps and see all the new items Laura has added.  There you will find a fun new line for the store - Casual Fridays and the adorable Greeting Farm - Frou Frou Collection!

Don't forget to link up to the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog for this weeks Anything Goes Challenge!

Well that is all for me today!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Sorry for the late post today. Right after I woke up this afternoon I had to head to town to meet my sister for a night full of errands!

Today we have a super cute card by Ceal for you...

This cute little witch is a Tiddly Inks image. Now this particular witch is a digi stamp but they do offer a couple of cute witches in clear stamp form witch we have in the store - LOL! Couldn't resist :)

You can see our current in stock Tiddly Inks here (including the witches) and we also will be placing another Tiddly Inks order on October 15th for any CUSTOMER PREORDERS that we have at that time. You can see all the Tiddly Inks Preorders here.

I think Ceal did a great job coloring this cute witch with her copics. I love the colors of her dress...reminds me of candy corn :) The dotted background is really cute too! Too Cute to Spook!

Hello Friends and Stampers,

Welcome to a Happy Holly-Day Friday!  Boo-Ya!  I survived this week and it was a longggg one!  Fortunately for me, so is my weekend!  Whoo-hooo.   High Five!  Okay, enough celebrating, lol.   For my Inspirational Post, I have a Tiddly Inks Image Called  Too Cute To Spook.

Yes, tis the season of witches and let me tell you, I have a few of them, lol.  I love cute little witches, they make me so happy.  Have you been to the Home Page of the Loves Rubberstamps Store?  Look who's featured, It's Tiddly Inks!  A whole brand new supply has reached the doors and you are going to have such a hard time picking out which ones you want.  Not only are they adorable, they also are a lot of fun to color and just the perfect size for most card designs.  LOVE them!  I was jumping for joy to see them added.
I  don't know what it is, but I am loving the purple dresses, green faces, black hat and straw hair this year, lol.  I still have some Chillingsworth paper from last year and I was excited to see one in the store so I could use it on this card.  If you missed out on this paper last year, hurry - hurry, before it's all gone!
So this weekend I want to spend one day getting inky and one day watching football! lol.  Wish me luck!  I just celebrated with the 49er's finally finding their groove.  Should be an interesting season now.  lol.   How about that Gore rushing all those yards!  He is my hero!  And for those of you not watching football, take advantage of the all day Sundays! lol.  Plenty of time for those big projects you have been wanting to do.  So don't forget the 12X12 papers too!
Thanks for Looking in on us and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Wow! How fun and girly is this? I love the hot pink black together with the zebra print and pops of lime green! This would be perfect for teen girls! I know that these colors are my daughters favorites :) Athina did such an amazing job at coloring her image as usual! I also love the sheer ribbon accents and the layout style!
Simply too cute for words!

Paper Smooches 'A Magical Spring'
Paper Smooches 'Birthday Sampler'

HOLY ROSES BATMAN! Wow! Check out all of those gorgeous flowers! Lydia colored this cutie in perfect Spring Colors and she matches that gorgeous bouquet perfectly! I love all the details that Lydia added and that key is so cute!

My Minds Eye - Lost & Found - Market Street Princes

This is so adorable! I wish I could do pleats as well as Ivonne does :) Her coloring is stunning and she did such a beautiful job coloring her image to match her papers and those beautiful butterflies! This just screams Spring and warmer weather! Such a gorgeos job!

Echo Park paper called Love Story

This little scene is so amazing! I have always been a huge fan of Shanna's coloring and this is just too cute!!The grass and sky look amazing! Those flowers are gorgeous too and add the perfect touch! Beautiful job!

This is such a cheery card with the bright, summery colors! This image is so sweet and Marcy colored her perfectly! I love this layout and the accents that Marcy chose! Total sweetness!

I also had a chance to play in my stamp room today for a little bit. I got some Design Team projects done and then decided to play along in a few challenges for a little fun :)

Laura Love

I have been wanting to make one of these Tea Bag Dispensers for quite awhile. I saw that Tiddly Inks was having an Anything But a Card challenge so I grabbed one of my FAVORITE images... Alice from Stamping Bella and created one. I really love the Curio papers from Basic Grey and because I drink a lot of Green Tea, I wanted my box to kind of match. I chose some papers that kind of reminded me of a tranquil garden since tea is suppose dto be relaxing :) I paper pieced the outfit and the butterfly accent is one that I bought from a lady that makes them on Etsy. I really LOVE how it turned out :)   Here are a few more views...

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win some blog candy and if you can visit each of the Designers Blogs and read about how they created their amazing projects! Have a great day!
