Fabulous Friday Inspiration

Hey There Everyone
I back to share a card that I made for a cousins birthday. It is a Frozen party so, I hope she doesn't toss the card, lol. You know how little girls can be. I pulled out this pretty Fairy from my stash and went to work.
I hope you like it and will in some way be inspired to create today.

Reading Beauty

Happy Thursday to you all. I have some Loves Rubberstamps inspiration for you all.

I used this beauty from Saturated Canary Stamps. She was colored with copic markers on copic paper. I colored her up before matching papers to her, but I love how well it came together.

I then finished the card off with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers.

You are Beautiful!

Hello! It's Marcy here for Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Saturday!!!

Hope all of you enjoyed your week and that some of you may also be able to enjoy an extended holiday weekend for Martin Luther King.  I am off of work on Monday so I'm looking forward to getting some additional crafting time in!

So today's card features the adorable Saturated Canary image called "Nevaeh".   I just love all of the Saturated Canary images and my collection is slowly growing.  Not only are they adorable but most of these images have the prettiest hair which I love to practice coloring with!  Nevaeh is no different and I had so much fun coloring up her hair and everything else with my copics!  I also added some stickles in "Pink Taffeta" on the ruffle and parts of her dress to give her more shimmer.  I went with one of my new favorite color combos of purple and teal.  I don't have a lot of paper collections with purple so I was excited to find this DCWV pad at Michaels called "Violet Leaf".   I also took out my new Christmas toy called the "Bow it All" and made this fancy bow.   Loving this new tool as I am not great with bows! Lol  The sentiment "You are Beautiful" comes from an MFT set called "DC Polka Dot Greetings".   I thought it was perfect to use along side the Beautiful Nevaeh! :)  Finally,  I added some  flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and teal pearls from my stash.

Supplies Used:
Nevaeh-Saturated Canary
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
Seedless Preserves-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Violet Leaf-DCWV
Flowers-Wild Orchid Crafts (Soon to come!)

Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the beautiful Saturated Canary images. Laura is constantly getting new ones in the store!

You still have time to join in on the "Use Metal" Loves Rubberstamps Challenge and don't forget to join tomorrow's "Sensational Sunday" blog hop starting right here to win some fun prizes!

Hope you like my card and have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks My Crafty Friends...

Hi Stampers!

I am back with my combination - The Cutting Cafe and Loves Rubberstamps Design Team Project :)
If you are looking for my Crafty Sentiments Designs Project just scroll down :)

This week for The Cutting Cafe we could chose Any File we wanted to work with. I decided to use one that I have had for awhile but had not had a chance to use yet :) I chose the Copic Marker Box.

This week for our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge it is all about giving Thanks. You can make a Thank You Project for someone special, or make it Thanksgiving themed. I chose to create a matching Thank You Card for my Copic Marker Gift Box :)

Here is the set together:

This week for the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge we are being sponsored by Saturated Canary so the entire Design Team used Krista's adorable images :)

Here is a close up of just my Copic Marker Gift Box:

Here is a close up of my card:

The Sentiment on my card and on the Copic Marker Box both come with the Copic Marker Box Template.

Here is a close up of my flowers. The Cream colored one was created using the My favorite Things Die-Namics Rolled Rose Die. My Branch punchies are created using the Martha Stewart Branch Punch.

Here is a close up of the Saturated Canary Image - Sketchie! LOVE her :) I colored her with copic markers. I added some Frantage and sponged the edges with Old Paper and Walnut Stain Distress Inks using my Ink Blending Tool.

The Designer Papers that I used on both projects is the Winter Wishes Collection from Bo Bunny.

I also used this card sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces for my layout on the card:

This is their last card sketch challenge :(

Thanks for stopping by again today :) Be sure to play along in our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week!

Also go check out The Cutting Cafe Inspiration Blog to see what files my fellow teamies chose to use this week :)

Waiting for the Fun

Hi Friends and Stampers,

This Thursday we are celebrating our Thanksgiving here in the states.  Our DT member Olivia has made the cutest card to show you some inspiration today.

Isn't she adorable?  She reminds me of being little and hearing about the upcoming holiday and watching everyone else gather and hunt for the great feast, and all she can do is sit and be good and wait in anticipation.  I can so remember the feeling.  That and knowing that after Thanksgiving, Christmas is right around the corner!!!  EEEEK!
I love this cute design and the dies she used, the colors are fabulous.  Great job Olivia!
Okay I know I always say this, but Laura has just last night added more NEW ITEMS to the store!  Winter and Christmas and Cuteness and Fun!  How cute is this one?!
SANTA HUG Rubber Stamp Santa Collection from Magnoliaor how about this one?
**PREORDER** New! JINGLE BELL RUDOLF Rubber Stamp Winter Wonderland Collection from Magnolia OMGosh I so need this cute reindeer!
New! Aladine IZINK - GOLD 15ml Pearly Pigment Inkand some new inks.   Trust me, go check out the NEW goodies!
This might be the only Monday of the year that I don't mind it being Monday.  Okay it's Monday but it's my Friday! I do have a few days off too. I'm going to try out a few recipes after the Holly-Day with the left overs. I have a few days off to play and of course I will get inky but I also want to try out some yummy sounding things I've seen on Facebook or heard about on Pinterest from my Pinning Friends.  Unless you have a better favorite left over dish for us to try! lol.
Also you have a few hours to play in our Current Challenge - Shabby Chic or Vintage!  and a few more days to Comment in our Sunday Blog Hop for a chance to win a voucher to the Store!   I hope you can join us for New Challenge tomorrow!
Thanks for Looking in on us and I hope you all (who are celebrating) have a very Happy and Stress Free Thanksgiving!

A Treat From Your Mummy

Hi Stampers!

This week I combined my Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Project along with my Design Team Project for The Cutting Cafe. This week at the Cafe we were able to use any Halloween file of our choice. Well...I decided to use TWO of Regina's awesome files for my project :)

This week for the Loves Rubberstamps challenge you can chose to do a TRICK, which is to create a card with an interactive or movable element - like a slider card, swing card, viewmaster card...etc OR you could choose to do a TREAT - which is to create a Halloween Treat Holder. Now...Can you guess which I chose?

A TREAT!! Who WOULDN'T want to do a treat because that way you can munch on some goodies while you craft - LOL!!

Here is my project...

I decided to use the Cupcake Holder File  and I paired it with the Mind Your Mummy Set. I think they make a cute duo :) I was going to try and get this posted yesterday but I had to wait until I had time to bake the cupcakes first. If I would have baked them ahead of time...you would be looking at an EMPTY cupcake holder the way my husband and children inhale them! LOL!

Here is a closer peek at my Mummy Treat...

I covered the Cupcake Holder with Designer papers from the Doodlebug Halloween parade paper pack. I think this is my FAVORITE Halloween paper right now :) The tag is one that comes in the Mind Your Mummy Set and I just added a spider that I made with my Die-Namics Die Spider Web Set . My cupcake decorating skills need some work - LOL! I forgot to put my tip INSIDE my piping bag before I put all the frosting in it so I had to try and hold it on while I squeezed the bag. A little bit of a nightmare - LOL!

Here is a closer peek at my scary Mind Your Mummy Card...

I loved this file and it comes together so easily once you remember to print the wrapping diagram :) I love that this comes with different sentiments that you can use on the Mummy Wrap and they are already on the strip for you. I inked all my edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain. I added some red sparkly bling for the eyes and the little patches are part of the set. Now I HAD to add this adorable little witch Elphie from Saturated Canary. The look on her face is perfect...just like this Mummy has just snuck up on her - LOL! I colored her with copics. Because she is a little witch I wanted her hair to look a little magical so I added some doodle dots :)

Well...I better get this posted as I am late as it is! Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to play along in our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge and do a TRICK or a TREAT!

Also ... check out the Inspirational Blog Post on The Cutting Cafe Blog to see what my fellow Design team members created for their Halloween Project! If you leave a comment on the post - each week Regina draws one lucky person who left a comment and they win THREE FREE FILES of their choice! How AWESOME is that?!?!

PS...As soon as I was done with my pictures...my husband came in and was like HEY are you done with that cupcake?!? And then he inhaled it - LOL...so the poor mummy cake is no more!

Have a great day all!

Pillow Box...BUCKET!

Hi Stampers!

Today is my posting day for The Cutting Cafe! This week the Design Team was asked to have fun with PILLOW BOXES! Regina has a TON of awesome files for all kinds of pillow boxes for many different occasions!

I decided to have a little fun with the Assorted Pillow Box File because I wanted to use a plain pillow box shape with no cutouts and this file has one. I wanted to try and use the Traditional Pillow Box in a Non-Traditional way so I made a Pillow Box BUCKET!! Take a look!

This was really not that hard to make! What I did was cut out 3 of the Pillow Box shapes and instead of closing them, you place sticky strip on the tabs you would typically close them with and adhere them end to end, closing your bucket with the last tab.

Regina's plain  Pillow Box Template is very good sized - the pillow box sides are 3 1/4" wide so my bucket turned out to be about 5 3/4" diameter! You can stuff ALOT of goodies inside it! To do the bottom, instead of scoring the curve on the end, I scored it straight across and folded the flap under and then placed a large circle on the inside and outside of the bucket to make it really sturdy.

You can do the handles different ways, across the middle, make two front to back or do like I did and create what looks like a Coffee Mug handle so my bucket looks like a ginormous cup! I knew I was going to put hot chocolate mixes, marshmallows and mint patties in mine so I chose to make the "Cup" Handle. I secured the bottom with a fancy vintage style brad.

Here is a closer peek at the front:

This image is called Cocoa from Saturated Canary which I colored with copics. I LOVE her! :)

I hope you enjoyed my unique way to use the Pillow Box File! These are so fun to make and would make great gift ideas! Be sure to see how my fellow Design team members used their Pillow Boxes on the Cutting Cafe Inspiration Blog!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Magic of Christmas

Hi Stampers -

So Sorry for my late post for this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge! I wasn't feeling very good yesterday after I got back from visiting my sister before she had to leave for Florida so I didn't get my pictures taken. I had a massive headache that would not go away for anything! I ended up getting the post pre-scheduled for the challenge and then laying around on the couch doing nothing - trying to get my headache to go away :(

The challenge this week is a 1, 2, 3, challenge! We want to see 1 - Image, 2 Designer Papers, and 3 Embellishments! Here is my LATE project...

I am bound and determined to get some Christmas Cards made this year that I can send - LOL! I am up to THREE!! YAY! That is a record I think!! I used the GORGEOUS Candy Cane stamp from Saturated Canary! This is one of my favorite favorite stamps! I decided to color her in soft teal blues and warm greys. I like how she turned out. I decided to make one of my panels look like a pretty vintage, wrapped Christmas Present. My Sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Seasonal Sentiments stamp set. This is actually one sentiment but I cut it apart to make it fit my card better.

Here is a look at the inside of the card - which I kept pretty simple.

And here is a close up of the lovely Candy Cane...

I added some iridescent ice to her wings too for just a touch of bling :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you play along with us this week!!

Guest Designer for Creative Creations Challenges

Hi Stampers!

This will be a BUSY posting day on the blog today! Check my earlier post for a SNEAK PEEK PROJECT using a soon to be released stamp from Crafty Sentiments Designs called - Off To The Ball!

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Guest Designer for the Creative Creations Challenges this week! If you like challenges they have some really fun ones and today's was no exception!

This week their challenge is BINGO and here is a peek at their Bingo Board for their challenge:

I decided to use the line down the middle for my card - SENTIMENT, IMAGE & PEARLS. Here is my card that I created:

I used the gorgeous Saturated Canary image Fairy Wishes and colored her with my copic markers. I added a Tim Holtz Ticket after crumpling it up and sponging the edges with Distress Ink in Black Soot. Speaking of gorgeous...do you see those stunning blue designer papers? Those are from the Gorjuss Girls line that will be going into the store today :) I just got this paper in and I could buy cases of this paper to hoard ... it is so beautiful! The layer of paper that has the words is from my Antique Aged Papers Pack from Bazzill. I added some of my favorite crochet lace ribbon  and prima pearls for my bling. I love adding Crochet Lace Ribbon to my projects because I love the vintage, shabby chic look of it and I also love the country style feel it gives to your projects.

For my layout I chose to use this sketch layout from the CLP Challenge #61.

I thought it was super pretty and plan on using it again :)

I would like to thank Katrina & Jill for allowing me to be a Guest Designer for their challenge this week! It is such an honor to design alongside their talented Design Team :)

Have a great day all!
