Fabulous Friday Inspiration

Hey There Everyone
I back to share a card that I made for a cousins birthday. It is a Frozen party so, I hope she doesn't toss the card, lol. You know how little girls can be. I pulled out this pretty Fairy from my stash and went to work.
I hope you like it and will in some way be inspired to create today.

All Dressed Up

Hi Again Stampers!

I am on a ROLL! I was blog hopping around and saw a super fun Blog Hop Challenge from All Dressed Up stamps and thought I would play along! I know I know...TWO cards in one day!! It is quite the miracle - LOL!

All Dressed Up had the cutest freebie image that you had to use to create a project for their challenge. It just so happens that I love their stamps...and I need to beef up my birthday card stash since I will have just this one as a spare :) Here it is:

Isn't that image adorable?!?!?! How do you like my Birthday Sentiment :D I have been 29 and holding for the last 10 years but who is counting! Once you hit 29 you just stay there - LOL!
I used some cute Basic Grey papers from my crafty stash. I thought that it was neat that the brown paper had a flower image that is really similar to the Petaloo ones I had just purchased that came in the mail TODAY! It was a sign I think that I needed to use them :)

Here is a close up of the image:

I added some stickles to give her some bling and some frantage to the panel too. I am sorry the pictures have a yellow tint to them I had to take the picture at night and our lighting is not ideal!

I used the Sketch N Stash card sketch for my layout...

Thanks for stopping by again today! Be sure to scroll down and check out my post from earlier today that is for our Loves Rubberstamps Warm Colors Challenge! I used the no lines coloring technique for the first time :)

Have a great day!
Laura

You Make Me Happy!

Happy Friday Friends!

It's Athina here, happy to be back to share a little inspiration with you!  My allergies have been having fits the last few days.  I guess that is the price we pay for spring!  So I will keep it short today!

Since my head is foggy, I decided I should not try to color.  Who knows how that would have turned out.  But I did use my copics, do you know where?  The lacy circle cut out is colored with RV69.

Supplies used:
Spellbinders
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Rusty Hinge
C. C. Designs - Be Happy Sentiments

Make sure to come and join our Pinterest Inspired challenge this week at Loves Rubberstamps!   I promise you it will be lots of fun!  Also make sure to check out the store for some fun new Random Fan images that have been added!

That is it for me today!
Blessings until next time...

Bear Hugs

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!  It's Marcy here with some inspiration for you all today!

Here's my card share...

So I know this card has a "Get Well" theme so I wanted to make it bright and cheery for the person receiving it!  This image called "Bear Hugs" from the Pure Innocence collection by MFT would put a smile on anyone's face, right?!!  Isn't she so adorable holding her little teddy bear?  She's one of the newer releases and being such a big PI fan, I just had to get her!  I pretty much paper pieced her whole outfit other than her skin and hair colored with my copics,  and her shoes which I used my Wink of Stella in Pink on.   I even paper pieced cute Teddy! :)  The pretty papers I used are called "True Friends" by Carta Bella.   I just love this pretty Springtime collection.  To finish off my card, I added some enamel dots which I picked up recently at Michaels.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Bear Hugs - MFT Pure Innocence Collection
Scalloped Ovals - Spellbinders
Victorian Velvet - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
True Friends - Carta Bella
Black Tuxedo -Memento Ink
Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see the items used on my card and to see all of the latest MFT Pure Innocence stamp sets!  Also, don't forget to check out the blog tomorrow for the "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Marcy

Wish Big!

Hello Friends!  It's Marcy here and I wanted to share a card with you all today!  I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

Here's my card...

This is a birthday card I made for a friend.   I have quite a few birthdays coming up so I was happy to make one this weekend and add to my birthday card stash! :) This sweet image is called "Wish Big" and is from the Pure Innocence collection by My Favorite Things.   Isn't she so adorable?!!  I just love fairies and this stamp set is so cute!  I've had this sweet gal for some time and thought she would be fun to color up with my copic markers.   I added some stickles in "Star Dust" to her wings, wand and shoes to give her some sparkle!  I also paper pieced her outfit with some fun papers called "Here and Now" by Echo Park.  The pretty roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Wish Big (PI) - My Favorite Things
Here and Now - Echo Park
Victorian Velvet - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see the items used on my card including a huge selection of Pure Innocence images to choose from!

You are Special - Friday Inspiration with Athina

Hello Friends!

We have made it to Friday once again, so that means Athina here to share some more inspiration with you!  I have spent my week out in warm California, what a great change from here in Ohio where it has been frigid.  The weather was in the low 60's, but it felt like summer to me.  It is very funny how you get used to a temperature, the locals were all freezing.  It was nice to get away, but I am glad to be back and sharing some fun inspiration with you today.

I found this cute little Tiddy Inks, Celebrate Joyfully image in the store.  I just love her! She is colored with Copics and cut out with the Large Oval Spellbinders die.    I kept the background very simple, which was actually a challenge for me.  But I like stepping out of that comfort zone once in a while.  The background papers are by My Minds Eye.  The sentiment is from C. C. Designs - Amy R - Be Happy.  It is stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink.

Supplies Used:
Spellbinders  - Large Oval

Cardabilities Sketch # 92

Laura has been busy adding many fun items to the store this week!  So make sure to stop by and check out the New Items section.  I have a gift certificate I need to spend, but have been holding off so I can see all the fun new goodies.

Also be sure to come over and enter your latest creation in our weekly challenge.  This week is Anything Goes!

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs,
Athina

Hope! Friday Inspiration with Athina

Hello Friends!

It's Athina here, so that means we have made it to the end of the week!  Friday is finally here!  It is also the end of January.  Where did the month go?  My goodness, it flew by so quick.  I can say it has been a very cold and snowy winter here and I am more than ready for spring.  So there leads to my title....Hope!  I am hoping that spring arrives very quickly this year!

I colored up this little cutie, Tiddly Inks - Fairy Tenderhearted, with copics and used Spellbinders - Labels 24 to cut out the image.  The shape ended up being perfect.  I used Simple Stories - Fabulous & My Mind's Eye for my background.  I think she looks so delicate that I used some Wild Orchid Flowers and lace to finish her off.  Then added a ticket "Hope" as I thought it fit the image perfectly!

Don't forget to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all the fun stuff!   Also, be sure to stop by and play in our challenge this week!  It's very easy, all you have to do is use lace.  That is it for me today.  Have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs,
Athina

Just Sitting Here with Athina!

Hello Friends!

It is Athina here!  Friday once again so that means some Friday Inspiration!  I hope you had a great week!  It has been a busy one here, but that just means the weekend comes sooner!  Some of us will get an extra day this weekend, how nice. =)

So I found this adorable C. C. Designs Fuzzy Boots Birgitta in the store not to long ago.  I thought she is just adorable and would be perfect for this time of year.  Who doesn't love the warm boots, hat and sweater!  I colored here with copics then fussy cut her out so she could sit in the cute little window by Spellbinders (Labels 18).  The paper is Fancy Pants Designs - Blissful Blizzard.  I just commented the other day when Laura used it that I hadn't really used it much, so I was inspired to give it a shot.  I love the results!  I added some ribbon, bow, lace, flowers with brads and a little flag with an Amy R - Be Happy Sentiment.

Supplies used:

Be sure to stop by Loves Rubberstamps and see all the new items Laura has added.  There you will find a fun new line for the store - Whiff of Joy!
Don't forget to link up to the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog for this weeks challenge using metal!
Well that is all for me today!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $10 Loves Rubberstamps store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love for the Designers! You have until Saturday, April 13th, at 8pm CST. Have fun and we hope that you enjoy the hop!

For my card today I decided to use one of my Magnolia stamps that I love for Spring and Summer cards. This is the Tilda As a Butterfly stamp from the Chasing Dreams Collection. We don't have this series listed in the store yet but it will be coming soon :) I will be listing the brand new Once Upon a Time Collection in our store later today though! YAY! Here is my card for today...

I colored her with my copics. I am still a newbie at coloring pleats in clothes and after my markers dried I think it looked better than it did originally - LOL! So if you are trying new things with your copics, give the ink a chance to dry and you might like it better :) I am not quite sure about the yellow...I only have 3 colors and they are a little bright to me. So while the yellow is growing on me... I will just consider it like a little burst of sunshine in my Spring themed card  :)  The fancy corner embellishments are created using the La La Land Die - Filigree Corner Die.

Here are some close ups of my embellishments on the front...

My Metal Butterfly Charm

I decided to make this an easel style card. Instead of creating a one piece card front, I decorated the front with two seperate panels so when you fold it you still see part of the front with the designer paper and then the Spellbinders Floral Oval piece becomes the main centerpiece.

Here is a closer peek at the inside sentiment area...

I created the tag using the Spellbinders Fancy Tags Dies and the sentiment is from the new Delicate Words Die from The Greeting Farm. Love this! Those beautiful papers are from the Bildmalarna Flowers of Spring 12x12 paper. I also used some prima flowers that we will have in the store soon as well!

I hope you liked my card for today ...

Now I won't keep you any longer! Your next stop on the hop is the super talented...Dangina!

Just in case you get lost along the way...

A Little Sass!

Yay! I still have the internet! Miracles never cease :)  Now I get to play catch up on all the things that I couldn't do while it was down! I don't know how I functioned without it, it was like the stone ages at my house - LOL. The saying "Don't know what you got until it is gone" is the truth...even when it comes to things like the internet!

Today I created a card that is for this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge, to create a card that features a red, white and blue color scheme. This week we will be giving away another $25 gift voucher for use in the store so play along!

My card uses the super cute Sassy Emma from the Sugarplums collection by C.C. Designs. I colored her using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink Markers and then used prismacolor pencils for her skin. I used the Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock that is designed for use with Alcohol Ink Markers. This makes a huge difference when you use markers like these. I hand wrote the "USA" on her shirt with a red gel pen. The Celebrate saying and the Firework Images are from a retired stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms called America the Beautiful created by the talented Kim Hughes who is the designer for Paper Smooches stamps!

I created my own background using the inlaid embossing technique and the Snowburst Embossing folder from Stampin Up!. The red circle with stars around is a Spellbinders Nestibilities - Star Circles that we just got in this weekend and will be available in our store later today!

I hope you like my card! Come play along with us in the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge :)

Happy Stamping!
Laura
