All Dressed Up

Hi Again Stampers!

I am on a ROLL! I was blog hopping around and saw a super fun Blog Hop Challenge from All Dressed Up stamps and thought I would play along! I know I know...TWO cards in one day!! It is quite the miracle - LOL!

All Dressed Up had the cutest freebie image that you had to use to create a project for their challenge. It just so happens that I love their stamps...and I need to beef up my birthday card stash since I will have just this one as a spare :) Here it is:

Isn't that image adorable?!?!?! How do you like my Birthday Sentiment :D I have been 29 and holding for the last 10 years but who is counting! Once you hit 29 you just stay there - LOL!
I used some cute Basic Grey papers from my crafty stash. I thought that it was neat that the brown paper had a flower image that is really similar to the Petaloo ones I had just purchased that came in the mail TODAY! It was a sign I think that I needed to use them :)

Here is a close up of the image:

I added some stickles to give her some bling and some frantage to the panel too. I am sorry the pictures have a yellow tint to them I had to take the picture at night and our lighting is not ideal!

I used the Sketch N Stash card sketch for my layout...

Thanks for stopping by again today! Be sure to scroll down and check out my post from earlier today that is for our Loves Rubberstamps Warm Colors Challenge! I used the no lines coloring technique for the first time :)

Have a great day!

Love You Sloooooow Much!

Good Morning Stampers!

I finally had enough of my no crafting streak and took time yesterday to make a card! This is the first thing I have made since the beginning of April so go easy on me - LOL! I forgot how relaxing it is to just sit and color and craft. I sure have missed it!

My daughter's birthday is coming up on October 24th so I wanted to make her a birthday card. I decided to go all out and figured since I have not made anything for so long and haven't touched a copic marker since April...what the heck...I will try something I have never done and just go for it. So I colored my image in the NO LINES technique!! I don't think it turned out to horrible for my first time but I still need lots of practice :)

I used the super adorable image from the Whimsy Wee Stamps Collection called Love You Slow Much. I love this one and hadn't inked it up yet. That snail is tooooo CUTE!! The scrabble tile looking letters are from Whimsy Stamps also and are called Spell It Out. These will be listed in the store soon!

Here are some close ups of my image...

I really LOVE how my little snail turned out :) I am not too sure about my fairy, I think her hair could be better. I think I tried too hard to not get the "banding" in her hair so my flicks were fatter than I wanted. Like I said I still need to practice :)

I also finished the inside too...

I used two different Tiddly Inks stamp sets to create the inside - the verse sentiment and hearts are from the stamp set called My I Love You and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the stamp set called Ellie Says Happy Birthday.

I used warm colors for my card this week since that is our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge to use Warm Colors on your card. So we hope you play along with us! We have some great sponsor prizes!

I also used this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge for my layout...

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope now that I broke my no-crafting streak I will get back in the swing of making things on a regular basis again :)

Big Crafty Hugs!

We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

For my project today I wanted something that looked really sweet and innocent but had some Sass to it :) I used the absolutely adorable Jasmin - Warm Cuppa from Crafty Sentiments Designs for my main image. I really love this one - it is one of my favorite images :)

My sentiment is computer generated and I had actually seen this saying on a coffee mug on pinterest and thought it was funny ... I actually want to get one for myself for a work mug - LOL! While I was making this card I had had the pleasure of listening to my children fight and argue like 3 year olds over doing the dishes together, and I think I was ready for my own mug to contain some vodka by the time I was done!!! LOL!

I really LOVE how this turned out and the color scheme together. The papers I used are from the Blissful Blizzard Paper Collection from Fancy Pants Designs, so I colored my image in a similar scheme to the papers I was going to use. I usually just color my image how I want first and then try and find papers I like that match so I think this worked out a little better for me :)

I colored my image with copic markers and this was my first time trying a darker skin tone so I am really happy how it turned out. When I first started coloring the skin I wasn't sure if I would like it or not, but once it dried, I loved it!

Here is a closer look at my image...

I remembered to write the marker colors that I used down this time :)

Skin - E00, E11, E13, E21, R20
Hair/coffee - E47, E49, E57
Greys - W0, W3, W5
Blues/Aqua - B00, BG000
Mug - R56, R59
Eyes - G94, G99
Steam for the mug I just used a white gel pen

Here is a list of everything I used on my card:
Martha Stewart Branch Punch & Scallop Border Punch
Prima Flowers (coming soon!)
Spellbinders classic circles

For my sketch layout, I chose a card sketch that I have had tucked away in my card sketches folder on pinterest that was designed by Creawitch.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and it gave you a chuckle :) Now be sure to hop along with us and if you are a regular hopper you will notice that our line up has grown AND you will see some new faces as this is our first Sunday Hop with our new Design Team Members!! Thanks My Crafty Friends...

Hi Stampers!

I am back with my combination - The Cutting Cafe and Loves Rubberstamps Design Team Project :)
If you are looking for my Crafty Sentiments Designs Project just scroll down :)

This week for The Cutting Cafe we could chose Any File we wanted to work with. I decided to use one that I have had for awhile but had not had a chance to use yet :) I chose the Copic Marker Box.

This week for our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge it is all about giving Thanks. You can make a Thank You Project for someone special, or make it Thanksgiving themed. I chose to create a matching Thank You Card for my Copic Marker Gift Box :)

Here is the set together:

This week for the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge we are being sponsored by Saturated Canary so the entire Design Team used Krista's adorable images :)

Here is a close up of just my Copic Marker Gift Box:

Here is a close up of my card:

The Sentiment on my card and on the Copic Marker Box both come with the Copic Marker Box Template.

Here is a close up of my flowers. The Cream colored one was created using the My favorite Things Die-Namics Rolled Rose Die. My Branch punchies are created using the Martha Stewart Branch Punch.

Here is a close up of the Saturated Canary Image - Sketchie! LOVE her :) I colored her with copic markers. I added some Frantage and sponged the edges with Old Paper and Walnut Stain Distress Inks using my Ink Blending Tool.

The Designer Papers that I used on both projects is the Winter Wishes Collection from Bo Bunny.

I also used this card sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces for my layout on the card:

This is their last card sketch challenge :(

Thanks for stopping by again today :) Be sure to play along in our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week!

Also go check out The Cutting Cafe Inspiration Blog to see what files my fellow teamies chose to use this week :)

The Cutting Cafe - TURKEY TIME!

Hi Stampers!

I have a super late Design Team Project for you today! I have been having some issues with my computer that I use with my camera and haven't been able to upload my projects until it was fixed. Soooo...I am posting my Design Team Project for The Cutting Cafe TODAY! Again I am so sorry that this is late...but better late than never :)

This week we could choose from the Turkey Shaped Card, the Gobble Word Shaped Card or the So Thankful Circle Word Printable Stamp Set.

Now...I happen to think that Regina's Turkey File is the cutest Turkey you will ever see so I chose to use that one :)

I used some Mulberry Paper for the head and body to make him look soft and fuzzy. I used some scraps from My Mind's Eye Mabel paper pack. For the lay out I used this week's Simon Says Stamp Sketch.

I didn't have a banner die for the little sentiment piece so I just cut a strip of cardstock and folded the ends so it looked like a banner. My sentiment is from My Favorite Things Thankful Leaves Stamp Set. And of course I have to sponge EVERYTHING using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain :) I LOVE that stuff!

Well I better get this posted so I can let Regina know that my project is up finally! Be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe Inspiration Post and see what my fellow Design Team Members created using these files. There are some super cute ideas! While you are there be sure to leave a comment and you could win some FREE Cutting Cafe files of your choice if you are this week's lucky commenter :)

Be sure to also check out Indah's Inspiration Project for you today and her VIDEO TUTORIAL on making a shadow box card! Such a cute project! You can click on Video Tutorial or just scroll down :)

With Gratitude

Hi Stampers!

Today is my Design Team Day for The Cutting Cafe! This week Regina asked us to use the Grateful Word Shaped Card or the With Gratitude Printable Stamp Set.

I chose to use the With Gratitude Printable Stamp Set. I really loved this set because not only does it come with 75 images - yes really 75...but it has a great variety from sentiments, phrases to fun colored scallops, and background papers!

So here is what I came up with...

For my card I chose to use TWO of the colored background papers that come in this set - the stripes and the colored grateful words background. I really loved the colored word background because there are a TON of different sayings that you can also cut out separately and use for sentiments like I did for mine. The bottom scallop under the white flowers is one of the colored scallops that come in this set too!.

This sweet little angel is also available from The Cutting Cafe in a printable stamp set called Elisha Jean and Friends Sweet Angels printable set. I thought she would be the perfect little image to use for this project :) I colored her up with my copic markers. The glitter on her winds is from my Marvy Uchida Just Glitter Pen in Gold. After coloring her up I fussy cute her out and then placed her up on dimensionals.

For my card layout I chose to play along in the Papertake Weekly Free For All Sketch Challenge where you could choose any one of their sketches to use. I chose Sketch #69.

Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to check The Cutting Cafe Inspiration Blog on Wednesday evenings where you can see all of the beautiful designs by the Design Team using the week's assigned files! Regina also has a blog candy giveaway every week - you can win your choice of 3 of her amazing files of your choice...simply by leaving a comment on the blog post :)

Have a great day all!

Sweet Christmas Angel

Hi Stampers!

This is my 2nd post for you today! This is for my Design Team Project for this week's Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge! It is everyone's FAVORITE - Anything Goes!! Now this is the total opposite style project from my creepy witch I made earlier - LOL!

This week I decided to use one of the gorgeous new release images! I really love this release, there are so many adorable characters! This one is called Angel.

I colored her with my copics. I  added some Liquid Pearls to create the berries in her hair. The glitter on her wings, flute, and shoes are from my Marvy Uchida Just Glitter Pen in Gold. I LOVE this! It has a pen tip so you can get the glitter just where you want. It dries fast so you don't get glitter everywhere, which is perfect for me because I get glitter everywhere usually and sparkle for 3 days after I use it - LOL! Because it is a pen tip you can write with it too, so I Added it to my Sparkle part of my sentiment and the loops. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Seasonal Sentiments. The Glitter pens will be in our store very soon, in a few different colors :)

My designer papers are from a Simple Stories paper pack - Handmade Holiday - I believe is the name. Do you see that pretty music background paper? Well I created that using the Magnolia Stamps Silent Night Background Stamp that is from the Santa Collection. This will be in our store hopefully today - I will be working on listing the Magnolia stamps & Dies I have in so watch for this one :) It is so pretty! I sponged all my paper edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain.

I created these flowers using the Poppystamps Small Blooming Poinsettia Die and added some more of my gold glitter pen for some sparkle. The green leaves is the Poppystamps Lovely Tendril Die and the branches I made using the Martha Stewart Branch Punch.

For my layout I used this sketch from the Christmas Challenge With Sketches:

Totally Witchin'

Hi Stampers!

It will be a TWO post day for me today with two extremely opposite projects - LOL! The first project I have for you today is for this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge! This week our theme is Halloween - so we want to see any project that has a Halloween theme to it. You could do scary, creepy or cute! I decided to do more on the creepy, scary side with this Old Hag Witch...

This creepy witch image is from our Guest Sponsor this week - QKR Stampede! This is their Digi Stamp #18803 - Witch but you can also get this in regular stamp form as well. I colored this with copics and then sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Distress ink in Walnut Stain. I cut her out and popped her up for some dimension.

These Jars of Witchy Ingredients and the sentiment I used are from an Old stamp set I have from My Favorite Things. It is one from the Who's That Girl Collection and I think the name is actually Totally Witchin'.

And here is a closer peek at the witch. I drew in some witch wart hair on her warts on her chin and nose. Isn't that nastyy? LOL! Try to say witch wart hair 5 times fast :)

For my layout on my project I used this card sketch from Digi Sketch Challenge:

Let's Get BASTED!

Hi Stampers!

I will have TWO posts for you today! First up is my post for this week's new Love's Rubberstamps challenge! This week we want to see FALL LEAVES or PUMPKINS on your project! Or you can be adventurous and use both :)

Here is my project...

I used the C.C. Designs Monkey Feet Tom Turkey image and colored him with my prismacolor pencils because I wanted him to be soft looking. My papers are from the Authentique Thankful Paper pack. My embossed panel I created using a Sizzix embossing folder called Autumn Words (I think) and the cardstock I used is the Tim Holtz Core'dinations Distress Rusty Hinge. After embossing it, I lightly rubbed a nail file over the top to sand the words. I will be getting this cardstock listed in the store soon :)

Here is a closer look at my sentiment. You can see I layered some brown skeleton leaves behind the sentiment for my Fall Leaves :)

This sentiment cracks me up :D It is actually a Digi from Whimsie Doodles.

I also used a sketch for my layout from Sketch 'N Stash:

I hope you enjoyed my project! Be sure to check back later this morning for my Crafty Sentiments Designs - Design team post :)

Come play along with us! Have a great day!

Polished to Perfection!

Hi Stampers!

It will be a two post day for me today :) This week I started designing for The Cutting Café again! I am super excited for that and can't thank Regina enough for having me back :) This week for our Design Team Project we could choose any file we wished to use.

This week is also our Anything Goes Challenge at Loves Rubberstamps and The Cutting Café is our Guest Sponsor so I combined my projects for this week :) My daughter's birthday is next month so I decided to create a little gift box and a matching card for her and be ahead of things when the time comes :)

Here is the set that I created:

When I saw that adorable little Nail Polish Box Holder Template from The Cutting Café I immediately thought of my Polished To Perfection A'La Mode and thought it would create the cutest set!

Here is a close up of the Nail Polish Box...

I actually used two different files from The Cutting Café to create this. I used the Nail Polish Box Template, which comes with templates for two different boxes, the one like I made and then a rectangular one. You can kind of see in my first photo that there is a little box between these two Nail Polish Bottles. You can fit one or two bottles of full size nail polish inside depending on the shape of the bottle. The sentiment on the Nail Polish Bottle is from the Nail Polish Shaped Card Invite Set. This comes with quite a few cute sentiments that you can decorate with.

Here is a close up of my card:

All of my designer papers are from the Authentique Lovely paper pack. My flower is from prima and I used the Martha Stewart Branch punch to create some little leaves. I had to use my Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress ink to ink the sides of everything. I think this is becoming a must for me :) I used Frantage for the second time and love how it looks. This time I remembered to heat from the bottom of my paper BEFORE layering I so it turned out better I think :) The rose trim is my FAVORITE and it is actually from Stampin Up! I need to buy cases of this - LOL!

You can't see it very good in pictures but on the nail polish bottle I used some frosty shimmer paint to make it look pearly like the frosty nail polishes have. It looks really pretty in person with the shimmery glaze on it.

For the layout on my card I used this week's My Favorite Things Sketch:

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check back later today for my Design Team Post for Crafty Sentiments Designs! I hope that you will play along with us in this week's Loves Rubberstamps Anything Goes Challenge! Also ... be sure to check out The Cutting Café Inspiration Blog tomorrow afternoon to see what my fellow Design Team Members created and when you leave a comment on the blog post, you might be the lucky winner of the weekly giveaway :)
