Cancer Tilda

Shanna here and now it is a new Thursday and I thought with June right around the corner (and me being a Cancer) I thought it appropriate to play along with this image.

She is colored up with copics and paired with some older My Mind's Eye papers.

I added crackle accents to the bubbles to add texture and create a fun vibe on my card as well.

I finished the card off with some Wild Orchid Crafts.

I finished off the card with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and I still have tons more.

Warm Winter Wishes

I hope you all have been having a wonderful week. Shanna here today to share a Magnolia card for you all. These images are just so fun to color and so darn cute to play with.

Not really too much to say about this card today except I had fun trying to color the pleats in her dress. Not sure I succeeded to the point of some. I would so love to see Alyce color this image so I could get a better idea of how to color the pleats!

I colored the image with copics YAY! And I remembered to distress everything!

I also finished the card off with a sentiment from a new release set from SugarPea Designs!

Sensational Sunday Inspirations + Candy!

Hello and Welcome to the Sensational Sunday Blog Hop!

Hope you all are having a great weekend so far! We had a little scare Friday night. We were woke up at 1am by our smoke detectors. Apparently our bananas had fallen over and was pushing the toaster button down so the toaster was on. It ended up getting so hot that the plastic on the top started melting! Good thing we were home because it would have eventually started a fire. We had to open the windows to get the smoke out. Pretty scary, but at last we know our alarms worked!

I have a busy next few days off planned! First...shipping a TON of orders out and then I am hoping for some crafty time! Things didn't quite work out for me last week to get crafty time so keep your fingers crossed for me :)

This week the winning comment to be in our JUNE WINNER candidates was chosen from Nikki's Blog using Mr. Random...Here are your random numbers:

No Line Coloring

Hi everyone. Shanna here for another day of inspiration.

I used this technique called no line coloring. I colored her up a while ago before taking a class on how to color like this. I haven't fully looked at this class to know exactly how to do it. I have tried the no line technique before and was successful to my liking. So this was another try at that time.

Tulips!

Happy Friday Friends!

It's Athina here, happy to be back to share a little inspiration with you!  I have been on vacation this week, just hanging out around the house.  It has been really nice to not have a lot of extra stress and worry.  I spent all day yesterday and part of the day today sifting through my craft room.  I have purged things to donate, share and trashed some things.  After all of that, I still had several totes that got packed up and put in storage.  My room doesn't look the same at all.  It looks so bare, but I left out plenty of supplies so I could continue to create until we move.  I have a sneaky suspicion that there is a hoarder living in my craft room....  After all the cleaning and packing, I could not locate that hoarder... Hmmmm.....

I decided to do a CAS card today, one of the hardest for me.  But I just love the Tulip Wheelbarrow image by Magnolia and feel that it really does not need much else to go along with it.  They are colored with copics and matted on burgundy and brown cardstock.  I colored white ribbon to match the tulips.  Added a charm and some dew drops.  It was that simple.

Too Cool!

Happy Friday Friends!

It's Athina here, happy to be back to share a little inspiration with you! So happy it is Friday!  And better yet, I am off on vacation next week.  I just plan on packing some more of the house up and some little projects to get ready to sell.  Later in the week we have plans to visit an antique flea market.  I am so ready to chill and relax and forget all the stress of work, even if just for one week!

Well, today I colored up Magnolia - Cool Edwin, he is a fun little guy!  I paper pieced his shirt to add some fun to it.  You see the little flags, well they are made out of washi tape.  I seen this the other day on Pinterest and thought I should give it a try.  I wish I would have seen that before our washi challenge a few weeks ago.

Loving Spring!

Happy Friday Friends!

It's Athina here, happy to be back to share a little inspiration with you!  I am so glad it is Friday!!!  Do you have any big plans for the weekend?  We are planning some more yard work and planting some flowers for spring.  I read somewhere that if you put newspaper under your mulch it will keep the weeds away and it will degrade in time.  So I have saved my newspapers and I am going to give it a shot.

Well, I realized after I made my card that I used the same colors that I used for the challenge on Tuesday.  It must be my favorite right now.   I used   Magnolia - Tilda with Daffodil image colored with Copics.  The background papers is by My Minds Eye.  Let me tell you a little trick.  I did not have ribbon to match the card.  So I took white ribbon and used my R85 Copic to color the ribbon.  It now matches perfectly!  Great trick.  You only have to buy white ribbon when you have copics!!!

Make sure to come and join our Fancy Fold challenge this week at Loves Rubberstamps!   I promise you it will be lots of fun!  Also make sure to check out the store for some fun new Random Fan images that have been added!

That is it for me today!
Blessings until next time...

Happy Easter! Inspiration by Athina

Happy Friday Friends!

It's Athina here, happy to be back to share a little inspiration with you!  Hopefully a lot of you have today, Good Friday, off work.  I will be working, but many people are out of the office, so it will be a good day to get lots caught up.  Do you have any big plans for the Easter weekend?  We are having a family dinner and Easter egg hunt.  It is always lots of fun and great to spend time with my family.

I made a cute little Easter basket cut out with the Silhouette.  I have some handmade goodies to go in the basket, but I can't share those with you just yet.  So be sure to check my blog next week to see what will be inside.  It is for a very special lady in my life.  I hope she likes it!!!  I used   Magnolia - Tilda & Her Bunny, a perfect image for the basket. I finished it off with a ribbon, charm and some Wild Orchid Crafts - Flowers.  The sentiment is by C.C. Designs - Be Happy.  It was so simple and fun to put together.

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Copics
C.C. Designs - Be Happy
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Stormy Sky
Wild Orchid Crafts - Flowers

There you have it! It goes right along with our fun challenge this week at Loves Rubberstamps, spring or Easter.  So come on over and play with us!  I promise you it will be lots of fun!

That is it for me today!  Have a blessed Easter weekend and we will see you back next week.
Blessings until next time...

The Bunny Prince

It is a new Thursday! That means you get to hang out with me (Shanna) today.

I loved creating this project. I love how basic it looks and how colorful it is at the same time adding the flowers for pops of color.

I tried to keep it really simple. It is so easy peasy. The image is sweet and great for any occasion. I have been on this springy kick here lately!
