Shake it Off

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It is a Happy Holly-Day Monday.  Would you believe it's my Friday today? lol.   Then I have two whole days off.  Whoo Hoo!  I'm going to get inky for sure.  It's my day to show you some inspiration.  I'm totally into making shaker cards right now, so after a few dozen, I should be back on track, lol.

SugarPea Designs - Hot Diggity Dog - coming soon

Love the sentiments that come with this set.  It's puppy love for sure!  Coloring up this little puppy was super easy and then I fussy cut him and added him to the top.  I have been following along on some of the Shaker Cards tutorials and they totally have me motivated to do some more.

Be sure to watch the New Items section in the Loves Rubberstamps Store, you never know what Laura is going to add next!

I hope you are having a great day!

Hope you have had a great week so far! I have been super busy this week, getting our floors almost finished (just have our bedroom left) and doing behind the scenes store stuff and shipping orders. i did have a pretty exciting night at work the other night. I got to help a new Dad deliver his baby while talking him through the instructions over the phone. His wife delivered a little baby boy named Joel in a gas station parking lot. My Commander came in last night and told me that the local news station wants to do a news story on it on Monday - LOL! So that was interesting! Baby and family are doing great!

I wanted to remind you that we have posted a DESIGN TEAM CALL for our Design Team term that starts May 1st and runs through August 30th. We will have the details on how to apply for the team here on this post. You do not need prior design team experience to apply. We would love to have you try out!

With my crazy busy week this week I didn't get to have any crafty time so we will have a throwback project from our Design team coordinator Holly... take a look at this cutie...

I always love it when Holly uses her amazing airbrushing skills to create such amazing backgrounds! This adorable stamp is called Tin Can Chat from SugarPea Designs. We just got a huge shipment in from them so look for this line to be updating in our store with some in stock items and some new stamps will be added as well!

Here are the items Holly used:

Good Morning Stampers!

This has been a busy week here for me. My sister Leah flew in from Florida to visit with my Grandma. The only day I was able to spend with her while she was here was on Thursday. She flew back yesterday already. It was a short but nice visit.

Grandma had Dr. Appts on Friday which is an entire day event. We were talking about her physical therapy and possibly her needing to go to a skilled care facility in order to improve. She doesn't always like doing the exercises like she is supposed to. So we talked about some options and the different nursing homes that would be options.

Tonight I work a 12 hour shift - 7pm - 7am and I plan on spending the day before work getting orders packed and dropped off at the post office on my way to work. I am hoping once I get the orders out to get some crafty time tomorrow to join in our new challenge on Tuesday but we will have to see! Cross your fingers for me :)

Today I have a blast from the past from Lydia...

I think this is adora-bull! LOL! This cutie is a stamp set from SugarPea Designs. I will be adding more of these stamps to the store. They are listed as Preorder right now but our first order will be coming in this week so we will have some in stock. We will them be placing orders every two weeks for the preorders. I love how Lydia colored this with her copics and check out the groud! LOVE that look and the texture it creates.

The background Lydia simply used Distress Ink in Festive Berries and then added some water splashes! What a quick and easy way to create a really cool looking background. LOVE it!

Moose You

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's my turn to post on the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog today.  I have a couple stamp sets that I just have to put away for now, lol.   I love this Moose stamp set by Sugar Pea Designs.  If you love it and have to have one too, just send a quick email off to Laura and she will get this one for you.  With so many new stamp companies, it's really  hard to keep up on all the new releases, and Laura has not been feeling well for quite a while now, her Grandma was just in the ICU and now her son is very sick with Scarlet Fever.  So if it takes a bit to get a reply from an email, you will understand why.

Sugar Pea Designs - Merry Christmoose

I airbrushed the sky with my Copic Markers, colored the cute Moose with Copic Markers and then fussy cut him out and added him on to the airbrushed layer.  I also added the tree on to the this panel.

I hope your Holly-Day Monday is a good one!  The boys are off school today, so it's free Ipad day and running around outside.  I have a few chores to get caught up on and then I plan to spend most of the day getting inky, lol.   I hope you have had a chance to play in our current challenge!

Have a great day!

Holly

Valentine's Cards

Good morning to you all. Shanna here with some fun and simple cards.

I decided to share some fun cards I made using the newest release from SugarPea Designs.

For my first card I used a couple different stamps. I did fussy cut the shovel out and paired it with the sentiment "I dig you" along with the heart stamp that looks like washi tape.

For my second card I kept it single layered as well.

Thank you so much or stopping by.

Filled With Love

Welcome to a new Thursday inspirational post for Loves Rubberstamps.

Today I sharing a fun new card I created using the brand spanking new stamps from SugarPea Designs.

I kept my card pretty simple because I want this to be great as a card for anyone. I love the simplicity of it and the sentiment on the vellum. I still need to find some vellum tape so it doesn't show through the vellum! Or find some thicker vellum lol.

Warm Winter Wishes

I hope you all have been having a wonderful week. Shanna here today to share a Magnolia card for you all. These images are just so fun to color and so darn cute to play with.

Not really too much to say about this card today except I had fun trying to color the pleats in her dress. Not sure I succeeded to the point of some. I would so love to see Alyce color this image so I could get a better idea of how to color the pleats!

I colored the image with copics YAY! And I remembered to distress everything!

I also finished the card off with a sentiment from a new release set from SugarPea Designs!

You're a Super Dad!

Sugar Pea Designs - My Hero (preorder coming soon)
Penny Black Creative Dies - Downtown

Hey Friends and Stampers,

It's Happy Holly-Day Monday again, I'm here to show you a Father's Day card I whipped together for Joe.  Life has been so busy these past couple months that I was concerned I was not going to get this card made for today, lol.   It seems like it's always something lately.  This last weekend was suppose to be a rest period for our household after undertaking so much lately.  But sadly Mr. Reed got got sick....on the top bunk....all down the back wall..... and then over the other side.  It's a big huge wood one that the furniture store sent guys over to build in the room.... Unfortunately we had a lot packed in that room too.  So we hauled it all out, Joe got out the Dad tools and down came the bunk bed.  We cleaned and cleared out and shampooed the carpets.  And then it all went back in again, but we decided to stick with just the bottom bunk, lol.  Knowing my dear Joe needed a boost, I decided to go ahead and give him his Father's Day gift a week early.  So he got an XBox 1 and you would have thought it was another child the way he went on. lol.

One of the reason I love working for Loves Rubberstamps is the variety that I have to choose from.  This cute little Super Hero is from Sugar Pea Designs that Laura is planning on adding to the others as soon as she gets caught up.  If you would like to preorder him, shoot her an email at Lovesrubberstamps@yahoo.com and she will add him to her orders for you.  Same goes with the Penny Black Creative Die - Downtown.  The first time I saw this die, I knew I had to have it!  It's the perfect size for all my Super Hero images, lol.   And the, You're Super set from MFT both stamps and dies can be used in combination with all kinds of images and other dies.  These are all perfect for me to have on hand because ALL my guys are Geeks and all my guys love super hero's, along with all the movies that go along with them.

Oh and you want to be sure to get your projects uploaded in our Current Challenge - anything goes!  There are triple prizes this week!   One of which is a voucher to the Loves Rubberstamps Store, check out the New Items Laura has just put in.  So cute!!!

Thanks for Checking in on me,

Holly

Time for Pizza!

Happy Holly-Day Monday!

It's my turn to show you some Inspiration!

Copic Markers Used: C7, C5, C3, C1, C0, R29, R27, R24, E000, E00, E21, Y15, Y17, E43, E42, E27, E25, E23, E11, E13.
I saw this cute paper over at a LSS store and I knew it would be perfect for my little pizza guy. I have a ton of pictures of the kids on random days at Chucky Cheese, so I just added that journaling and the date on the other side checked panel. I couldn't help myself, I had to use this months Sugarsketch again and make a matching pizza guy card. He is one of my favorite images. I just love him.
I promise to be over the Scrap Page Frenzy soon, but I am having such a great time and I have a ton more pictures to Scrap. I love encorporating what I have in stamps and dies to the pages. Have you used some stamps and dies in your Scrap pages lately? To further inspire you, I want you to head over to the Loves Rubberstamps New Items! I promise there is more goodies added to the store!
And be sure to join us in our New Challenge tomorrow where I am Yes, Again, making another scrap page layout! lol.

The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town....

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday.   I know, I know, me too.   But I hope I can provide you with some inspiration for when you do get a little time to get inky.  I actually made a card that inspired another Scrap page layout!  I have now double the number of scrap pages I've done in a year!  Whoot.  Okay, don't be too impressed, it's only a few, but I do have the Scrapping Fever now, so you can expect at least one more, lol.

Here is my card for you today:

My Copic Colors are: G24, G21, G20 - for the greens, C1, C0 - shading on the bunny, R81, R83, R85 - Pink dress and hat, E25, E23, E21 for the little bunnies, RV00, RV10 for the cheeks and in the ears.  So I sat back and loved this one.  It's simple but it's so Easterish.   And I thought about what I would do with this One Big Hoppy Family set on a scrap page layout.  So I did it.

I used the basket, the marshmallow looking bunnies and the eggs from the Woven Basket Die-Namics.  I have a system I use when I am cutting out multiples of the same and so it's all assembly line work, lol.   Here is a close up of the stamps I used on the layout:

I added some glitter to the Letters, Numbers, Bow and Eggs, but it's not really showing up on these pictures.   The additional Copic colors I used are: E35, E34, E31 for the smaller bunnies, Y35, Y13 for the eggs, B91, B93.  I do have an airbrush but sometimes I just like to sponge on some Memento Cantaloupe and Tangelo for a warm sunny feel.   I also dearly love punch art and I have seen this bunny on several cards at Splitcoast Stampers.  I am not too sure who to give the credit to, but I did shamelessly KopyKat it and added the ears and the pom pom tail to it.

This may be the first time I scrapped a layout for an event that hasn't taken place, lol.  I'm so years behind that sometimes it's just good to look ahead and now I know I have to have six really good pictures! lol.

Thanks for Looking and I hope I have inspired you today.

Gnome Sweet Gnome

Hi Everyone,

It's my turn to show you some inspiration today.  I am so excited Laura added this SugarPea company to her store!!! Go check them all out Here:

I love this little Gnome Home and I had fun coloring this up. I airbrushed the clouds and the grass. Here are my colors: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44 for the trim of the house. E49, E47, E27, E25 for the door. R02, Y26, Y28 for the knob and hinges. R29, R27, R24 for the flowers and snail. YG97, YG95, YG93 for the greenery. For the snail body I used G43 and YG63. I colored the windows with BG10 although in retrospect, I wished I would have colored them a soft yellow, because it would have added to the dimension instead of looking like a front of a house, lol. I airbrushed the sky with B12.
I have a couple people I have gotten into Copic Coloring, so I am listing the colors for them and for anyone else interested. I know, sometimes I do and sometimes I do not, lol. But I'm trying!
I hope your Monday is going well and your week is off to a good start. There is a little bit of time left to play in this weeks Challenge - All about Green.
Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments!
