Spectacular!

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Happy Holly-Day Monday and my turn to show you some inspiration.  Here is what I came up.

Carta Bella 6X6 - Summer Lovin'

I love these cute dies!  I put glossy accents over the lenses for a more realistic feel.  The sun and the butterfly are from the Everyday is a picnic.  Love having the matching dies, it just adds so much more to the sun.

If you are waiting on an order or an email from Laura, I need to let you know that her Grandmother is very ill in the hospital and Laura is by her side.  So please be patient and she will most definitely be shipping your order and answering emails as soon as possible.

I hope you are able to play in our current challenge, add a sentiment.  You still have a few more hours to join in!

Thank you so much for looking in on me.

I Dig You

Hi Friends and Stampers,

I hope all the Mom's out there had a Wonderful Mother's Day!  I worked but after work was a lot of fun.  I want to Thank my Guys for making my Day Special!

It's A Happy Holly-Day Monday, and time for me to show you some Inspiration.   I had to use my Gnome's again, I just love them!   They are so fun to color.  I used my Silver Wink of stella for the buckle and the shovel.  The red hat doesn't really go with the paper but you know, all Gnome's must have a red hat right? lol.  I had so much fun breaking out my dies and using them in this design.  They just add that special touch.

I hope you have had time to play in our Anything Goes Challenge!   It's always my favorite one to play in.   And you want to head on over the Loves Rubberstamps Store to see the New Items added!

Have a great day!

Hello

Hello Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday!  It's my turn to show you some inspiration today, so here is this weeks card.

MFT BB You Gnome Me - coming soon

I could have also used this for this weeks Challenge - Use two or more dies.  Such an easy thing to do.  I love dies.  I think you are also going to love tomorrow's Challenge even better ;)

You know pretty much I love anything Birdie Brown draws.  I literally squeal at all her new sets, I just love them.  This Gnome set is no different.  I absolutely love the little gnomes.  I saw this color combination on Debbie Olsen's Blog and I loved it, so I decided to try it out.  And you know I wanted to make this a shaker card right? lol.   I have to wait a few days for some more shaker card supplies to come in.

Well it's a New week for us and we are ever so happy to have our Jeepy back from Camp Keep.  What an amazing child he is.  And when he's gone, the sun does not shine as bright, the air is not as satisfying, and his Dad and I just wonder around aimlessly waiting to pass the time til he got back.  He is like our life force, our purpose to do what we do.  And nothing made that more evident than the week he was away.  So yeah, he is back.

I hope you have a chance to play in our Challenge and check out the store!

Blue Skies Ahead

Hello and welcome to a new Thursday inspiration with Shanna.

I created this quick and simple card to share using a fun stamp set from My Favorite Things.

I stamped the sentiment on vellum and wrapped the vellum around the edges.

Then I added a flower I made using the sunflower die and inked the edges and used a blue button with jute string on the top.

Pawsively Awesome

Hi Friends and Stampers,

I am late posting my Monday Inspiration.  I had an idea what I wanted to do but I got into an emergency cleaning frenzy.  Partly because I never feel like cleaning and when I do, it's an emergency, lol.    Here is a card I whipped up today.

I have to confess.  This stamp set really did steal my heart, I love it.  I cut out a window with my Blueprints 13 circle, then I cut out another window on Kraft colored cardstock and then placed the sawtooth circle on top of that and cut that out.  That left me with a ring of the sawtooth pattern that I glued on the top of the window.  Then I stamped my cute puppy on the inside of the card and colored with Copic Markers.  Then I stamped a few paw prints on the designer paper and added a flag from my Blueprints 12 die-cut.

I hope everyone is having a Happy Holly-Day Monday!  You do not want to miss out on the New Items in the store!!!

Thanks for Looking in on Me,

Thanks

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's my day to show you some Inspiration.  I actually made a card from a card that inspired me.

Here is Kimberly Crawford's card that inspired me.   And she made another one as well.   And so did I.

I didn't focus so much on triangle pattern with my ink on this one, which was my first one, but I did try Kimberly's tutorial on the first one shown and I really like the triangle within the triangle pattern, it just creates a better eye flow.    So like Kimberly, I heat embossed with white embossing powder and turned my distress inks upside down on my craft sheet and then picked up the ink with a paint brush from there.  I wiped off with a paper towel and then added a velum stitched traditional tag.  Added the die-cut Thanks and then added a few sequins.

These were a lot of fun to make!

I hope you will join us in our Current Blog Challenge and you will want to head on over to the store to check out the New Items that Laura has added!  I'm so excited about the Wink of Stella in the store!

Thanks for Looking in on me.

Fire Fly

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's my Day to show you some Inspiration.  For today, I have decided to bug you, lol.

Echo Park 6X6 (scoot)

OMGosh I love this Mason Jar Set. I cut out the Jar once in the star paper and then again in window sheets.  I glued the fire flies on the star paper and then placed the window sheet cut out over it.  Then I added the lid that I cut out from a shiny silver paper.  I used the label cut out and stamped the label on.  Then just added the strip of paper and a lone fire fly and some sequins.

Look at all the possibilities here:

DIE-NAMICS MASON JAR DIE SET from My Favorite Things MFT Stamps

Jar full of hearts, gumballs, bugs, the sky is the limit.  Initially I wanted to make a shaker card, but I don't have clear thick strips for the window sheet.....which I have to find now! lol.

I hope that you have been inspired today and that you play along with us over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.  Oh and be sure to check out the New Items in the Store!

Thanks for checking in on me,

Holly

School Bus

Hello Friends and Stampers,

It's my turn to post today.  I wanted to make a thank you card for Reed's teacher this year and so I came up with this.

I love all the Birdie Brown Images, each one in the sets are adorable.  I thought this School Bus paper would be perfect but now it does kinda look like a little much, lol.

So did you watch the Super Bowl?  Wow, what a close game and both teams just played their hearts out.  I enjoyed it after a two week withdrawl from football, lol.   Now I have to go til August again, lol.   But it's fun and it's probably a good thing I have a few months off to get some stuff done around here, lol.

Laura is adding some exciting New Items to the store, so you will want to hop over and take a look.  and you still have a few hours left to play in our Pink and Girly Challenge.

Thanks for looking in on me.

Love You!

Happy Saturday Friends! It's Marcy with a card share for you all today!  I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

Here is my card...

Today, I have created a fun Valentine's card using the adorable Pure Innocence image called "Love You with All My Heart" by My Favorite things.  It's been a while since I've used one of these darling images and I had so much fun creating with this cutie! I colored her up with my copic markers and then paper pieced her dress and the heart she is is holding.  I also added some Wink of Stella to her shoes and her hair clip.  The fun papers I used are from Doodlebug Design called "Sweetheart".  These papers are definitely one of my favorite collections for V-Day and I just love them!  I created a cute heart border on the bottom using my  Martha Stewart heart punch border.  Now for the sentiment "Love You", this was created using the My Favorite Things new DIE-NAMICS set called Love & Adore You Die Set.  I  think it's such a fun and different look to use die cuts for sentiments rather than just stamping them which I tend to do.  To finish off my card, I added some scattered sequins and a pink heart button from my stash with some rope twine tied in a bow

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Love You With All My Heart - Pure Innocence Collection; My Favorite Things
Friends are Flowers - Tiddly Inks
Sweetheart - Doodlebug Design
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Heart Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store for all of the awesome stamps and Die-Namics by My Favorite Things which have just been recently added!

Hope you all enjoyed my V-Day card and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Marcy

Love Stories

Hi Everyone,

It's a Holly-Day Monday, time to show you some Inspiration.   Did you enjoy the blog hop here yesterday?  Didn't know about it?  Scroll down and  read about how Laura is giving away a $20.00 gift voucher each month!  It's also the last day to play in the "B" Challenge for other prizes.

Here is my inspiration today.

I'm on a bit of a count down for Super Bowl Sunday.  This has been a bit of football withdrawl for me, but nothing compared to waiting for foot ball season again, lol.   It will be good for me not to be tied up in 3+ hour games, lol.   Plus I will have more time to spend on other things, like my New Years Resolutions.  Yeah, how are those coming for you?  I'm doing okay, 24/30 days done on my 30 min for 30 days challenge.   But about that scrap page layout each month, lol.  I still have time!!! lol.

Anyway, I hope you have been inspired to create something fabulous and I hope to see you for tomorrow's challenge as well....

Thanks for popping in,

Holly

Hello!

Happy Saturday Friends!   It's Marcy here for some inspiration today!  If you are following the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week, you know that the theme is to ink up with a color other than black.  I thought this would be the perfect time to practice some "no line" coloring!  So even though the challenge started last Tuesday, I thought it would be fun to continue the theme into the weekend with my Inspiration Day!

Here is my card...

The sweet image I used is from a set called Miss Anya Scarves by The Greeting Farm.  This is the first time I've used this collection so it was a lot of fun!  I really like this technique too because you have to be extra careful with your coloring which always helps me to concentrate more on the details of the image.   I stamped up Anya in Desert Sand by Memento Ink and then colored her up with my copics.  I added some Wink of Stella to her hat and scarf to give her some shimmer.  At the bottom of my card, I used the Die-Namics Scallop Border Trio Set from My Favorite Things.  I added some fun rhinestones to the border as well as some scattered around Anya.  I also couldn't resist pulling out some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts including these cute white crochet flowers!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Miss Anya Scarves - The Greeting Farm
RSVP - Basic Grey
Desert Sand - Memento Ink

I'm really happy with the way my card came out and I hope you all like it too!  There's still time to join in the challenge so stop on by the Challenge Blog to see the details.  We also have a new Blog Hop here tomorrow!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Big Hugs

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Today is a Holly-Day Monday and my turn to show you some inspiration.

Simple Stories 6X6 Paper - A charmed life

I just love all these cute Pure Innocent images.  They are so fun to color!  I also love paper piecing them and adding just a touch of color to the clothes for shading.

I hope your week day goes by really super fast and that you have some time to get inky!  We have one more day of the Anything Goes Challenge and I will be back tomorrow with a new project for the New Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments.

I Love You!

Hello!  Marcy here with another Inspiration Saturday for you!  Hope you've had a great week and are all enjoying the brand New Year 2015 so far!!! I have a simple but fun card I've made to share with you all!

Here it is....

Today, I decided to take a little break from coloring and I felt like playing with some dies and background stamps.  One of my favorite companies for this is My Favorite Things!  They have the cutest background stamps and dies and so many to choose from! I wish I could have them all!!!  For my card, I used the fun MFT BG Gingham Background Stamp!  I love gingham and this background is so versatile for so many occasions.  Although the last few times I've used it, I stamped in red, I'm thinking this would be so pretty in blues and yellows too!  Definitely going to try some new colors.  Now for my layered hearts,  this die is called Hearts Die-Namics also by My Favorite Things.  Super fun to use and it even has small holes where you can add some stitching.  I decided to do just that with some thin red ribbon from my stash and I love the look of it.  The sentiments were stamped on kraft using a Doodlebug Designs stamp set and I went over the hearts with my Wink of Stella gllitter to give them some shimmer.  To finish off my card, I added a sprinkle of some sequins which I love to do on almost all of my cards! :)

Here are the supplies used on my card:
BG Gingham Background Stamp - My Favorite Things
Hearts Die-Namics - My Favorite Things
Sentiments - Doodlebug Designs
Mono Multi Liquid Glue - Tombow

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the great MFT stamp sets and Die-Namics.  You can also pre-order some of the sets.  Tomorrow starts another fun "Sensational Blog Hop" so be sure to visit again!

Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Singing Loud

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Holly-Day Monday and my turn to show you some inspiration.   Today I made six tags, lol, once I got started on one, I had to make the set.

I also added some glossy accents to the noses. I thought about a red nose, but there is nothing like a black shiny nose, lol.   I used the Blueprints 6 tags die to cut them out with the Snowy Day music paper and sponged with old paper ink using my distressed blending tool.  I then used the scallop edged circle to cut out with the red Snowy Day paper.  I used the mini doily's to cut out the white.  I stamped my Reindeer on X-Press It paper six times and colored them first with E23, E25, E27 and then the antlers with E41, E42, E43, then I fussy cut them all out and layered up.  I used a couple punches I had on hand to make the tag tops in green but later noticed this was included in the Die-namics Blueprints Tag Builder set, lol.  That would have been helpful to know, lol.

I hope you are having a great season!  Don't forget to stop by the New Items in the store and check out what you want to get in the mail for your own Holly-Day!  There is also a few hours left to get into our current challenge!

Thanks for Looking and checking in on us,

Happy Saturday all!  It's Marcy here and I have a quick fun card I made for today's inspiration.
First of all, I hope for those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, that you had a fun and special holiday!

Here is the card I made for today...

I thought a Thank You card was perfect considering the Thanksgiving holiday we just had.  For my fun and simple card, I used the Contemporary Roses stamp set and Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.   You don't really have to do much because this coordinating set is just so easy to use and the designs are so pretty.  I also made my own background using the BG Gingham Backround stamp also from MFT.  This was stamped on some kraft cardstock which gives it a more muted look and I really like the way it looks!  I really love making my own backgrounds these days and MFT's background stamps are fantastic! I have just a few but want to get more...so much fun!:)  My background images were stamped with some colorful inks from my stash.  I finished off my card scattering some sequins for added embellishment and tying some twine as always.  The "Thanks" sentiment also comes with this fun stamp set.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Contemporary Roses Die-Namics - My Favorite Things
Contemporary Roses Stamp Set - My Favorite Things
BG Gingham Backround stamp - My Favorite Things
Black Tuxedo - Memento

Make sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the fantastic background sets, clear stamps and Die-Namics from MFT.  There are always new sets coming in all the time!

Enjoy  your Saturday and we'll see you tomorrow for a new "Sensational Sunday" Blog hop!

Hugs,
Marcy

Sharp Dressed Man

Hello Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday!  For those in the States, are you ready for Thursday?  I have all kinds of things I have to do to prepare, lol.   Do you all get dressed up for Thanksgiving Dinner?  We don't.  But I still thought this would be a cute card for preparing for dinner....

I love this Die-namic Die set!  This card came together so fast and easy it was amazing!  And now that it's the Holly-Days, it's more important than ever to be able to make a really quick and simple card that packs a punch.  I have many more of these to make in my future!

Have you been able to play in our Current Challenge?   Have you checked out the New Items Laura has placed in the store?   I always get so excited, there are so many different products, something for everyone for sure.

Okay I'm off to make some more Holly-Day cards..... Have a great week!

Holly

It comes with a Bow Tie too!
