Sensational Sunday Inspirations

Hi Stampers - 

I have been making slow but steady progress on getting orders shipped out and am almost caught up finally. I will be off work from my other job after Thursday this coming week for 3 weeks so I am hoping whatever is left to catch up I will be able to get it knocked out the first few days I am off. That is my plan :)

Grandma is still doing good and hanging in there. We did get some sad news about a friend of ours. She will be going in for surgery on her pituitary gland as they found a tumor on it. Not sure yet if it is cancerous or not so we will be praying for good news and that everything goes ok for her. 

Do you have any 4th of July plans this year? I FINALLY have the night off and then my husband has to work the overnight shift. Figures! Since I LOVE fireworks! So I plan on taking him a blizzard to his work and we will watch the fireworks from the top of the Power Plant where he works. I am scared of heights so it will be terrifying - LOL!

Happy Graduation!

Happy Saturday Friends!  Hope you've had a wonderful week and are starting a great weekend!  For my kids, it is the last week of school so we've been so busy with school events and graduations.  2 of my sons graduated the last few days from middle school and elementary school.  The schools over here have promotion ceremonies for this which are so so special and fun to watch!

So my share today are a few very simple graduation cards I created for my kids in celebration of their milestone events!

Here they are...

The 2 adorable graduate images are Graduation Luka from La La Land Crafts and Grad Ian (digi) from The Greeting Farm.  Both are so perfect for these celebration cards!  I colored both images up with my copics and kept the cards very CAS to really just focus in on the fun images and the special graduation theme.

You Are Fabulous!

Hello Friends!!!  It's Marcy here and I have a fun card to share with you all...

Here it is...

I've had this adorable Retro Marci stamp set from La La Land Crafts for quite some time so I was so thrilled to finally take her out to create with!  I colored up cute Marci with my copic markers and then had some fun adding some white polka dots with my white gel pen and lots of Wink of Stella in clear to give her tons of shimmer all over!  You can't really see it in the photo but I also added a thin layer of glossy accents over the lenses of her eyeglasses and they look so cool in person! :)  For my background, I just kept it pretty simple by adding a black doily and some black and white trim I had in my stash.  The pretty paper in the background is from Echo Park called "Dots and Stripes".   I decided to add some white enamel dots by My Mind's Eye to tie in with the polka dots on the paper and for some added embellies!  The sentiment "You are Fabulous" also comes with this fun stamp set.   I stamped it onto some dp using Versamark Ink  and then added my favorite black sparkling embossing powder by Ranger.

Hello Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday!  Sorry this is so late!  I got in late last night from the beach, slept in way too late and my Sister is here visiting.   But I wanted to take few minutes to share my Kimono Marci with you.  I found this tri-fold card someone had done on Facebook and I knew it would be perfect for my Marci.  I cut out the bottom with my Bracket Tab die and the top with the negative from the Faux Crochet Border.  And I colored her in with my Copics. 

I have had a great birthday weekend and thankfully I am off today to recover and catch up on some shopping and errands.  Along with all that laundry! lol.  I hope your Monday is fabulous as well.  And that you have some time to get inky!!!

Darling Dragon Luka Birthday Card!

Hello, It's Marcy here for some Saturday Inspiration for you all! Hope you are all enjoying a nice relaxing weekend!

Here is my card share for today...

I made this card featuring the adorable Darling Dragon Luka for my nephew's 1st birthday!  I had originally thought to use this image for a Halloween card but realized cute Luka would be perfect on one year old birthday cards too! :)   I colored him up with my  Copic Markers in some bright fun colors.    The cool birthday papers I used are from Doodlebug Designs called "Hip Hip Hooray".   I love the colorful designs in this collection.   To finish off my card, I added some random enamel dots from My Mind's Eye and some twine.
