We are celebrating CHRISTMAS IN JULY at Crafty Sentiments Designs this week! I LOVE all things Christmas and in fact....I am a total Christmas Stamp Hoarder. If It has a Cute Snowman, A Cute Santa, A Cute Reindeer, A Cute Penguin, Cute Bears...well you get the snowdrift....I NEED it - LOL!
This week the Design Team got to play with ONE of the super cute 25 yes you saw that correct 25 New Release Christmas Images! EEEK! Super excited for these!
Without further ado....here is my Christmas Project for this week's Challenge Inspiration!
Here is a peek at the inside of my Nugget Box.
Don't those chocolates look
These nugget boxes make awesome gifts and you can really use them for any occasion by just changing the words and the decorations. There is a lady on Splitcoaststampers that has created a post that shares the dimensions to make about any size box from both an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and a 12x12 sheet! Here is a link to the post.
Here is a close up of my image:
I colored this using copic markers. To create the texture on Santa's fur trim...I used liquid applique and before heating it up, I covered it in dazzling diamonds glitter. Then when you heat it, it has a shimmer and the texture is a little different then using it plain. You can't really see the glitter on it in the picks but you can in person. Then after doing that area I squiggled a thin layer of plain liquid applique for Santa's beard, mustache and eyebrows :) I love this image - it was super fun to color and adorable too :)
Now... be sure to check out the Crafty Sentiments Inspiration Blog where they are showcasing a bunch of the new Christmas images this week! The Design Team really went all out and created some stunning projects! They are also giving away a 2 Month Guest Design Team Term each day of the release also! How exciting!
So... Dust off your Christmas Stamps and come join the challenge this week! If you play along you have the chance to win this cutie....
But first you have to play along!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out my Loves Rubberstamps Inspirational Post and information about our DESIGN TEAM CALL in my earlier post :)

super idea Laura about making a candy box. And you have now inspired me to go and get some Liquid Applique - I have used it before but have used it all up and have been too lazy to get more! Thanks for joining us at The Stamp Spot in the Christmas in July challenge.
This is such a cute idea! Make me wish it was Christmas already. Great job! Thank you for playing along at the Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog. 'Shell
Laura: I love what you did to the candy box---beautiful! Every time I get boxed candy, I save the boxes. My plan is to decorate them [as you've done] and put homemade candy in them for our closest friends for Christmas.
Thank you for the wondeifel example and for joining us for our Christmas in July Challenge at Simply Create Too..
