Hi Stampers and Friends,
It is a Holly-Day today, so I am going to bring you Something's Fishy.... A cute MFT A La Mode. This one is retired and we have one left in the store, so get it while you can!
I inked her up in Memento Black, used the Best Glue Ever, and colored her up in Copic Markers. I have been hoarding this Echo Park paper for such an occation, lol. I used five dies - MFT Insert It Instaframe, Fishtail Flag Stax, Fishtail Flag Stax Layers, Bubble Borders Cutter die from CC Designs, and a newly released and soon to come to the store La La Land Die called Cattails.
Can you believe this is the last day of May? For some reason I keep referring to next month as July, lol. But I know, it's going to be June. Just a bit a head of myself. Yesterday was my son's last day of the 4th grade. He was so excited I was off work and he could actually come home at 12:05! lol. I'm also planning on keeping him home on my days off. He loves vacation at home, so he can finally play with his million dollars worth of toys, watch TV and play with the dogs. I think we might have to throw in some baking in there too!
So what are your summer plans? Going anywhere fun? I hope so! Take a look through the stamps in the store and see how many would really spruce up your scrapbook pages. I have LOTS of plans for mine, lol.
Oh and don't forget about our current challenge going on over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog - Bows!
Have a great day!

These Boots Were Made For.....
Hi Friends and Stampers,
I hope this is a short week for you and if so, it's getting even shorter because tomorrow is Friday, whoo hoo. But we do have something to celebrate today, a very happy card from our Design Team member, Ceal.
Flourishes
Copic Sketch Markers
Aren't those the cutest boots? Love the blue and green combo and the great design. Looks like these boots were made for stomping in puddles, lol. And I would love to have this pair.
So how was your Memorial weekend? Did you do anything fun? Did you have a chance to get inky and make a card for our current challenge? Which is bows. See the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog for more details! The good news is that you still have plenty of time and there is always this weekend to work on something fabulous as well!
My family signed the final adoption papers on our cute little Archy Bunker! So he is officially one of the family....all 12 pounds of him. And boy and how has he taken up some of my crafting time. I am going to have to work like crazy tomorrow morning on my Friday card. Tomorrow is the last day of school here for my son and I promised him I would pick him up the minute he gets off school. We will have to celebrate!
Oh and I spied some new products in the Loves Rubberstamps Store! Go check them out! So cute! But leave me a couple okay? lol.
Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments!

Let's Have Pie
Hi Stampers!
I feel like it has been FOREVER since I have got to post on here! Holly has been doing an amazing job keeping the Inspiration going on here while I have been taking care of my Grandma. She is doing better, she is working with the home physical therapist right now allowing me to sneak away for a bit to get some computer work done. I haven't had much crafting time lately but I am hoping that now that Grandma is here with us and out of the hospital, I will have more of a chance and can keep up with things better!
I did get a chance to squeeze in some time last week to get my Crafty Sentiments Designs Design Team Project done for this week's new Crafty Sentiments Challenge! This week you are to have sewing on your card - it can be real or faux stitches. I love the look of sewing on cards and have tried it a few times since I got my little mini sewing machine for stitching on paper - so I chose to do real sewing. Here is what I came up with...
I created an easel card using the super cute - Let's Have Pie image from Crafty Sentiments Designs. I wanted the card front to look like a cherry pie so I wove strips of cardstock to look like a lattice crust and then added oval punchies to make my scallop edge. Now...I don't know how your pie crust turns out in real life... but mine always tastes super yummy but I have not mastered the art of making it look perfect! It is always very messy and uneven on the edges. So I wanted to add an "imperfect" look to my paper pie crust edges so it feels more "homemade" and more like it was made by me - LOL! I kept my tension tighter than normal so my sewing would be imperfect, it made little loopies and would catch a bit when I was turning and created little wiggles. I think it just gives it a great vintage, country appeal :)
I added a mix of handmade rolled flowers and primas and then added the Recipe For Friendship stamp that is from Bildmalarna to finish my card front.
Here is a peek at the easel card open:
I wanted the inside to be really simple so I just added a die cut sentiment that is from The Greeting Farm called Delicate Words Die, some flowers and a few pearls.
Here are some close up pictures of the main image:
I colored my image with a mix of spectrum noir markers and copic markers and I also hand drew the little cherries on her apron.
I hope you enjoyed my project today! Come play along in the Crafty Sentiments Challenge with us! I will also be back in just a little bit with another project that I created for the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week too :)
Have a great day & thanks for stopping by!

You are my Cup of Tea
Hello Stampers and Friends,
Happy Memorial Day to those of you in the States and Happy Monday to everyone! I hope those of you who have the extra day off are doing something fun and fabulous. I hope everyone is safe and sound this weekend. With everything that has been going on weather wise and otherwise, it can be a little scary to turn on the news or hear about something else. That's why it's so fantastic that it's Olivia's turn to show us some inspiration, because she always brings some cheer and happiness along with her projects.
For those of you who didn't see Olivia's anything but a card submission for the Challenge this week, I wanted to show you now:
Saturated Canary - Talkie
Copic Markers
I love this milk carton and how she decorated it up using this adorable image!
And now on to Olivia's Monday Inspiration:
MFT-Cup of Tea
MME Paper
Copics
Die-namic Fishtail Flag Stax
Die-namic Fishtail Flag Stax Layers
How cute is this? I love how she used this sketch and the fabulous colors and design. The Pearls, flower and brads are the perfect touch! And her coloring is fantastic.
These are sure to inspire you to make something great and because today is a Holiday (Holly-Day) and because I am the one posting, I wanted to give you a little hint about tomorrow's Challenge...because you might have the day off and be looking for some Challenges. Shhhh, don't tell Laura, but think bows. That's the only hint I can give, lol.
Thank you for popping in to see us and we hope you are inspired! Please join us over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog for a new Challenge tomorrow! You don't want to miss out on the prizes and we have a fabulous sponsor!

Make a Wish
Hi Friends and Stampers,
It's definitely a Holly-Day today, it's the beginning of my holiday weekend and my day to show you some inspiration. Have you seen all the cute Pure Innocents in the store lately? I know Laura has a lot more to add to the store.
This new Pure Innocents is called Make a Wish. I am making a wish that everything turns okay with Laura today bringing her Grandma home to recover. There is a lot to do and I know she has been getting prepared for this all week, so I hope things go perfectly today and this weekend.
I used the Die-namics Insert It - InstaFrame and I love how these look like Polaroid pic's. When I was eleven, in the sixth grade, my Mom had a Polaroid camera that I used to play around with and take pic's of me and my friends. I had so much fun with that and so I really love having this frame to play around with my cute little images. I also used Fishtail Flag Stax and Upsy Daisy. I had to go on a wild goose chase to find this paper. It was, "somewhere" lol, and boy don't I ever need to get organized. lol. I colored her up with my Copic Markers, and used X-press It Blending Card.
I hope you have some great plans this weekend and have a little crafty time to play with us in our Current Challenge - Anything But A Card! It was be a great excuse to get a Christmas or Birthday Tag done and still be in our challenge for a chance to win a prize! But whatever you do, have fun!
Thanks for stopping by today,
Holly

Sweet Graduate
Hi Stampers and Friends,
It's Thursday and that means it's time for Ceal's project.
Magnolia,
Copic Sketch Markers
Oh my goodness, this little gal is so adorable, love the green coloring and the great design. Fabulous Graduation card. I don't know how many Magnolia images there are, but each and everyone of them are so cute!
We here in the states have a long weekend coming up and I could not be more excited. mostly because I am off for the weekend, lol. It's a great time to be with family and catch up on a few things I have been procrastinating on. Oh heck, I will probably procrastinate those even more, lol, and just enjoy myself this weekend.
I hope you have a chance to look through the store at all the exciting stamps Laura has. I know as soon as she catches up on everything, she has a TON more to list, so be sure to keep watching the New Items!
Thanks for joining us today and don't forget we have a "Anything but a Card" challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog going on right now!

Teacher Appreciation week.....
Hello Friends and Fellow Stampers!
Happy Holly-Day Friday and TGIF to me, (Holly) because I am off this weekend! What's even sweeter is my guys are headed to L.A. for the weekend to go visit a guy friend, making it an "all guys" weekend and they are headed to see the new Star Trek movie at the IMAX. You know what that means? Whoo Hoo, stampy time for me! lol. What are your weekend plans? Have you had a chance to play in our current Loves Rubberstamps Challenge yet? May flowers! So easy. And there is a prize (actually two) involved!
Today I pulled out a few of My Favorite Things and made a LATE teacher appreciation card. We also got Mrs. Chavez a couple of Apple shaped treats from See's Candy that she is going to love! And we are presenting her with this card and Candy on, "Open House" night, lol. Smart huh? lol.
Remember, if you see something in the store that is sold, just drop Laura an email and ask her to get it for you, or if she carries a line that you are looking for a particular item from and don't see it, email her. It's just that easy. That is how I started with Laura. I was hoping she would carry a particular Flourishes Stamps set and she ordered it for me....okay, she ordered all three of them for me, lol.
I hope you have a fabulous Friday and an even better weekend!

Just Sitting Here....
Hello Stampers and Loves Rubberstamps Friends,
Holly here to share with you an amazing card made by my co-designer, Ceal.
Holly here to share with you an amazing card made by my co-designer, Ceal.
Isn't this adorable? I love the bench die she is sitting on too and must ask Ceal where she got that little goody! lol. But by now you must know I am a die-a-holic and must own them all! Have you seen all the dies in the Loves Rubberstamps Store? I love this fabulous collection and am working on getting them all, lol. I love the sentiment Ceal used as well and the fabulous designer paper and colors. Be sure to check out all the Magnolia's Laura carries in her store.
You also want to be on the look-out for NEW ITEMS being post soon! I've heard there are literally boxes and boxes of new stuff waiting til poor Laura gets a chance to get them uploaded into her store. So be sure to keep checking. Also if you are waiting on an email or an order, they will be answered and shipped very soon.
Do you want an Archie Update?
He stands about 12 inches tall and is about 12 inches long, and he is the new Alpha. lol. He rules the roost, or so he thinks. Everything was going fabulous until I had to put him in his cage at night. At my house, all dogs in at night and each one has their own cage in our room. Once I closed the door he went all Grimlin on me. Snarling and biting at the cage and growling at me. Of course I had to bark and growl back at him, lol, he did not know what to make of that at all. However the next couple nights I have lured him in with a treat and now he happily bounces into the cage and makes himself comfortable for the night. In fact, when the alarm goes off, he can be found laying on his back all stretched out, sleeping like a baby. The second event happened when my husband carried him outside at dinner time. He actually snapped at him and bit him, but not hard. He does not like not being invited to dinner at all, lol. But the last couple nights I have again lured him out with a treat and he is just fine with that. So as long as it's Archies idea and he can freely walk into the situation, he is fine, lol. Otherwise, he is cute, adorable and loves me as much as I love him now. So we are a work in progress on some rules and boundaries, but he is catching on quickly. The other two dogs just don't know what to think of him and they keep looking at me as if to say, "Isn't it time for him to go now?" lol. I'm sure in time they will all work it out.
Thanks for checking in and I hope you get a chance to play in our May flowers Challenge this week!

Have a Charm...
Hi Stampers!
I feel like it has been ages since I have been on here! I wanted to say that I am so sorry to be out of touch so much, we have 3 different family crisis things going on right now and it has been just one thing literally after another! I feel like I am living in a soap opera. I am hoping that things start to settle down soon for me - I want to get back to normal life - because I am more than ready for it :)
Holly has been such an amazing help with keeping you inspired by sharing and writing up the inspiration posts for me! I would be so lost without her help - so THANK YOU SO MUCH HOLLY! Also a huge thanks to all my AMAZING Design Team ladies for keeping everyone inspired with their gorgeous creations! You all have been rocking some gorgeous stuff while I have been MIA! Holly will be filling in for a few more posts because I desperately need to get some orders out and get my emails gone through.
So - if you are waiting on an email response, or an order, or a prize from our challenges or blog hop...I will be getting caught back up - I am hoping totally in the next few days! Thank you SO MUCH for your patience and understanding as we are dealing with some very tough things right now.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! We spent it at the hospital with Grandma. My Mom and both of her brother's were there and we had a great visit. After getting home my husband and kids surprised me with these super adorable flowers...
I totally loved them! I grilled some steaks for supper and made myself some shrimp scampi since I can't eat beef. The kids gave me the most awesome gift of doing the dishes for me because I really dislike doing them - LOL!
Now...I want to share with you my Design Team project for this week's Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge... Have a Charm!
One of my favorite things to do is scrap recipes and this is one that I made for Black 'N' White Cheesecake Bars. I used to participate in recipe swaps and I had received this recipe in a swap years ago. I loved the design and the recipe was so yummy and after much begging from my Mom, I created her this similar one so she could have her own recipe page. The charm is a Karen Foster Mini Baking Charm that I will be getting added to the store after getting caught up on emails and shipping. In fact, I have TONS TONS TONS of new stuff that has been arriving since mid April that I haven't had a chance to get on yet with everything happening!
I used the super gorgeous stamp from Crafty Sentiments Designs called Innocences. I will be taking a better picture and replacing this one later today because when I went to take it, my camera batteries were completely dead, PLUS my internet went down for about 2 hours (one thing after another...literally...like I said) so I had to take a picture with my cell phone, upload it to facebook so when I got to work tonight I save it and then upload it to the blog! GRRR - LOL!
Here is what the recipe says because I know you can't read it from the picture...
Black 'N' White Cheesecake Bars
2 cups (12 oz.) - Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
In a double boiler or microwave, melt chocolate chips and the butter, stirring occasionally. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs. Set aside 1/4 cup for the topping. Press the remaining crumbs into an ungreased 9x13 baking pan. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in milk, egg and vanilla . Pour over crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. refrigerate 3 hours or until completely chilled. Cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator.
These are super yummy...just ask my hips! I am also using this as my inspiration piece for this week's Loves Rubberstamps challenge also of May Flowers because I haven't had hardly any time to get crafty. I am hoping once I get caught up on business things... I can spend some much needed stamp time and just de-stress awhile!
So...if you get some crafty time...be sure to add some flowers, or just use a stamp that has a flower in the design... add a charm and you can then enter it in BOTH of these fun challenges!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and thanks so much for hanging in there with us! It means a lot!
Happy Stampin!
Laura

Monday Inspiration
Hello Stampers,
Holly here filling in for Laura today. Welcome to the Monday Inspiration Post. Today Olivia is sharing a ON WALK Little Winged Friends Collection from Bildmalarna and she colored them so fabulous with her Copic Markers. I love the bottle cap with matching paper she used and a small tag. The colors are so great.
I plan on buying some of these little Bildmalarna stamps myself, and I know Laura is going to get more in stock soon. In fact, I know she told me she has oodles of new things to put in the store and she is going to work on shipping orders in the next couple days as well.
How was your Mother's Day? Mine was fabulous. A friend of mine found me a dog in an L.A. Shelter and this gal drove all the way to Bakersfield to drop him off today. Would you like to see the new Love of my Life?
OMGosh he is so FLUFFY and CUTE!!! I think he might be a mixed breed with Westie and Yorkie. He has the Westie personality and I love him so already. I cannot believe how fortunate I was to find one and a rescue dog makes it even sweeter. They named him Archie, so I call him Archie Bunker! He is fiercely independent, loves scratchy's, and has already established himself among the pack. We have two other dogs. He is no bigger than a minute and yep, he is the new Alpha, lol. I have been waiting over 10 years to find a Westie and this was the perfect Mother's Day gift to me.
I hope you all have a great day and will swing by our Challenge Blog to see what we all have made for the new challenge tomorrow.

Crafty Sentiments Designs SNEAK PEEK!!!
Hi Stampers!
Today is the first day of SNEAK PEEKS of the upcoming May Release at Crafty Sentiments Designs! I have seen the new images and the projects the Design Team ladies have in store for you over the next three days and all I can say is WOW!! You are in for a real treat!!
Here is my project using the new Annabel Mermaids Hair that will be available for purchase on May 10th!
I used a really neat coloring technique on the mermaid's tail that I learned by watching a video that my color idol, Alyce from Kit and Clowder, created. Her videos are amazing so be sure to check them out!
I wanted the main image panel to be the real eye catcher so I kept the embellishments to a minimum.
I really love how this turned out and I hope you like it as well!
Now for some important details....
You can win a selection of the NEW RELEASE STAMPS from Crafty Sentiments Designs by leaving a comment on the Inspiration Blog on each of the sneak peek days AND on the 10th there will be special blog hop too!
See all the details and what some of the other team members created on the Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspirational Blog!
Good luck in the draw!
Thanks for stopping by!
Laura
I will be entering this in the following challenges:
Flourishes - #219 Black Accents
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Forever Friends - May Challenge Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes

Monday Glam Inspiration
Happy Monday!
Holly here, I know it's a long way until Friday again, but Olivia has cooked up the cutest card to help ease into our week. I love how she has colored up this Kraftin Kimmie image. And that beautiful designer paper to match is so incredible! I'm sure she used her Copic Markers to color her up. I love the pink and black combination, it's so stunning.
How was your weekend? I worked on Saturday but decided to play hookie on Sunday and work on some cards. I nearly had this one card completed and all that was left was to use my Viva Pearl Pen to dot the center of some flowers when all the sudden.....glob. Not a little glob, no, a great big huge glob that spurt across the card, lol. I grabbed a baby wipe and was like, "No! No! No!" Thankfully I managed to get most of it off but there are still some bright yellow reminders, lol. I've never had that happen with this product, lol. The most irritating part was that I did a test pearl before I used it, lol.
Don't forget that tomorrow is a brand new Challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog. You won't want to miss this one! It's my favorite. We sure have enjoyed seeing every one's fabulous creations and choosing a favorite one is so hard to do. I love them all!
Have a great day and we will see you again tomorrow!

My Final Post for The Cutting Cafe
Hi Stampers!
Today is my last day for being on the Design team for The Cutting Cafe. This week, being the last week of the term, we could choose any set that we wished to use. I decided to use one of Regina's newest coffee files called Coffee Cup 2. I am a coffee fiend and love all things coffee so I was excited when this came out :)
I also decided to try a new style card that I have never done before called a Diagonal Double Pocket Card. I just followed the tutorial on splitcoaststampers.
Here is a look at the front of the card...
For the Front of the card I used the coffee cup "Tops" from the Coffee Cup 2 File. I decorated the inside layer with my most treasured coffee background stamp :) I don't even know who makes it because it is not marked - but I love it! The little coffee cup is from the Flourishes set called Coffee With Friends. My flower is a prima.
This has two diagonal pockets that you can use to place tags in. Here you see my inserts coming out...
And here is a look at each of my tags that I made...
This is one of my favorite Greeting Farm stamps called Latte Anya. I decided to try coloring her on Kraft which I have also never done before! I don't think it turned out too bad for my first time. I was inspired for the colors by a card that I had seen created by Jen who does the Deconstructing Jen sketches.
Here is a look at the second insert which actually holds a gift card...
The Coffee 2 set comes with this little pocket you can create to hold a gift card! Love that!! All of the sentiments I used are from Stampin Up.
Here is a final look at the whole thing together...
I love how this turned out and it makes such a super cute way to give someone a gift card for the best thing on Earth...COFFEE :)
I want to take a moment and thank Regina for choosing me to serve on her amazing Design Team. It has been such an honor and privilege to design for such a sweet and talented lady. These 6 months have been so much fun and really flew by! And even though this is my last Design team project - it won't be the last time you see me use items from The Cutting Cafe :)
Be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe Blog and see what the rest of the team did! It will be an awesome post because it is so fun to see the files that everyone chooses to use on the free weeks :)
Have a wonderful day all!
Laura
