Hi Stampers -

Happy Holly-Day Friday! Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? I work this weekend so nothing super exciting for us :) I have been busy, busy getting the Black Friday orders shipped out! Thanks to everyone that shopped with us! We really appreciate it :)

My goal for the weekend is to get my ginormous pile of laundry folded and put away so we can put up the Christmas tree.

Today we have a super cute project from Holly using one of the cutest snowman stamps ever...

 

 

 

I totally LOVE this! I love how the snowman pops off the Kraft cardstock and that brilliant coloring is awesome! I love the designer paper that Holly chose too. Such an adorable CAS design!

I love this cute wreath and the embossing.  So fabulous. The wreath die really cuts close into the detail of the design, I LOVE that!  So now I have yet another thing on my wishlist, lol.

Christmas Stocking Box

Hi Stampers -

This week for my Design Team Project for The Cutting Cafe...we got to choose from a few different boxes that are perfect for giving as Christmas Gifts. We could chose from The Stocking Box, which is the one I chose, The Christmas Shape Milk Cartons, the Candy Cane Box Set, or the new Christmas Bag Toppers Set.

I used some of my most favorite Designer Papers from my hoard. These are from an old Stampin Up! set. I let the papers do the decorating for me, the top cuff is the design of the paper that I just traced for the cuff and then cut the flowers out so it looked like they spilled over. I cut another flower out and then popped it up with the tag. The sentiment is one that comes with the Stocking Box Set.

The stocking I made is the Large Size and I plan on placing some candy canes and a gift card wrapped in some tissue paper inside of it for one of our white elephant Christmas Gifts this year. Then I won't have to wrap it :) There is a small stacking that also comes in this set of templates.

This is the side of the box, I just used some more of the paper from this set.

Hi Stampers!

I can't believe that it is DECEMBER already and that Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye! I really really need to get my hiney in gear and get some of the handmade gifts I want to do ...started and done! I really need to start making stuff in January and do something each month so when this time of year comes I can relax and be almost done with things....but that would make sense and show some organization - LOL! Maybe I will make that one of my New Year's Resolutions this year :)

As you know Mondays here on our blog are always a good time because we get to see a super cute project from Olivia! Olivia was the very first Designer that we had join our team way back when we first started :)

Design Team Call

Hi Stampers -

Loves Rubberstamps  is having a DESIGN TEAM CALL...

We are going to have 2 positions opening up for our  Loves Rubberstamps Design Team Term from January 1st - April 30th and we would LOVE to have you try out!

Requirement would be two projects per week along with a corresponding blog post featuring your projects.

One of these projects will be for our weekly challenge blog which has a new challenge every Tuesday. You will need to have this project completed by Sunday for that week's challenge. You will need to showcase this project on your blog on Tuesday and provide links to our challenge blog and to the products you used linked to our store. You do get a list of the challenges in advance if you like to work ahead.

We do have a couple of challenge sponsors who require us to use their stamps the week that they are the sponsor on our challenge site. In these cases they will provide a digi stamp to use so you will need to be able to use a digi stamp if necessary.

You will also be required to leave comments for our blog challenge participants. These will be assigned.

One project can be anything you wish to make and is for an inspirational post for our store - Loves Rubberstamps. This will be either for our "Sunday Spectacular Blog Hop" post OR an assigned weekday spot. The Blog Hop is where we will feature works from multiple designers and do a blog hop to each Designers Blog. If you are assigned to the Sunday Post - You will need to post this project on your blog on a scheduled time on Sunday with links to the company store for the products you used.   This project will need to be completed by Friday of each week for that Sunday's post. If you are assigned a week position your project will be due 2 days prior to your assigned weekday position. This assignment will be determined at a later date.

All projects may also be featured on our company facebook page and also in our store as a sample for the products used.

Our only requirement for projects is that you MUST use stamps from companies that we carry that are in their CURRENT line - no retired images. We are still growing our inventory so even if the particular stamp is not in our product line up yet... as long as it is one we can order - you can use it. We are always adding new companies and products as quickly as we can.

You must also display our store badge with a link to our store, design team badge and links to the team members websites on your blog, and our blog badge for the challenge blog with a link to that site while being a member

Our last requirement is to HAVE FUN!

Design Team Members will receive the following:

A 30% Discount off all items we carry in our store (there are a couple of exceptions) during your term

Your projects being featured on the Company Blog, Challenge Blog, Company Facebook Page and in the store as well as links provided to your blog.

Links to your blog from the company blog page, challenge blog site as well as from each design team member's websites

We do allow our Design Team Members to serve on other Design Teams as long as it does not interfere with your commitment to our team. We also allow a design team member to do multiple posts in a day if needed. For example - you serve on 2 teams, each requires a Tuesday Post, you would do one blog post for our company, then a seperate one for your other team.

To apply... You can create a Blog Post telling us a little about yourself and why you would like to be on the team and share some of your at least 3 of your favorite projects with us THEN link your blog post up to Mr. Linky in this blog post.
