It's another fabulous card from our Team Designer Ceal!  Isn't this the cutest thing ever?!  I love the red hair.  Our current challenge is Hair of a different Color, so this works so well with that.  I also love the embossing and the great color combination.  So fabulous.

 

Have you seen the NEW Items in the store? Laura has been so busy adding new Tiddly Inks and Some Odd Girls!  We are so excited!!!

Operation: Shrink A Booty!

Hi Stampers -

It is Tuesday which means it is time for a new Loves Rubberstamps Challenge! This week we are doing something totally fun AND are being sponsored by one of my super favorite stamp lines...Saturated Canary! YAY!! This week we are playing with fun & funky hair colors! We want you to ditch the normal colors and use more unusual colors - blue, pink, purple, rainbow - whatever - just not a routine, everyday color! If you don't want to go all super funky...use a more regular hair color and add a fun color of highlights :)

A few of my fellow DT Members and I have all pinky swore to get back on track with trying to lose weight, eating better, and trying to make some healthier lifestyle choices. It is really hard when you have crazy schedules like we do, but together we will do it!

I have been a weight watchers member for awhile, but haven't been going to meetings (I know - shame on me!) or tracking my food (I know - double shame on me!) and recently I found my 12 week tracker book collecting dust....and never used! Well...I decided that maybe to motivate me to actually use it - I would alter the cover to something cute and fun, so that is what I did for my project today! I plan on creating a Weight Loss Journal also and using a bunch of Saturated Canary images in it - since they are my favorite and Krista has so many that would be totally adorable to use for something like this :)

Here is my altered Weight Watchers 12-Week Tracker Book :)

I TOTALLY love how this came out - LOL! I showed it to my husband and he laughed and thought it was pretty awesome :) The Digi that I used is called Salute Her and I thought she was a perfect image to use for this! I printed her onto my X-Press Blending Cardstock and then colored her with copic markers and just one spectrum noir color for my lightest green.

And a closer look at her hair! I colored her hair using E31, E33 & E35 and then added RV55 Highlights!

I am pretty excited to get busy creating my Weight Loss Journal...and with my plan of having it filled with some of my FAVORITE Saturated Canary Characters... it will be something that will be so fun to use!

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was spent working and I am scheduled for a 12 tonight - GAH! I will be ready for my days off!!

You know what Monday means here on the blog and that is some mega adorable inspiration from Olivia! Yay! I never dread my Mondays for this reason!

Olivia created this super cute Family Album using some beautiful papers and the super sweet Diane Duda image called - I Carry Your Heart With Me from Stamping Bella. I love how Olivia colored this cutie up! She used copic markers! Those flowers are so pretty and just make the album that much more gorgeous! Total LOVE!

Happy Holly-Day Friday!

It's Holly subbing for Laura, who no doubt is working non-stop in the store or working on some fabulous creations to show us soon.  I know, I know, I just used the You are so Special to me stamp set, lol, but I had to use it again.  I am in love with the cute flowers that comes with this set and thought I would not only add them to the Raptor Round Your Finger image, but also for the inside of the card again as well.  I used my trusty air-gun to spray a little blue around him and for the ground.  I am usually spraying bold colors, but today I thought I would soften it up a bit and I really like the subtle color around him. 

This cute Raptor reminds me of my son a few years back.  He loved to dress up and have clothes that had capes or some sort of costume attached to it.  He wore a Halloween Hoodie for almost two years that had tiger stripes and little ears at the top.  You know, I think he still would if I could find one in his size, lol.  So I have plans to use him on a scrap page with other pictures I have of him dressed up on non-Halloween days, lol.

Hello, it's Holly subbing for Laura.  Today we have a Fabulous Clean and Simple, CAS, card from Ceal .  I love the colors and the fabulous Interlocking Backdrops.  I had not paid too much attention to this one but now it has my full attention and I think I must have this set as well, lol.   I do love Ceal's designs.  Also the vibrant colors of the Sketch Markers  reminds me that they are good stand alone colors as well as blending colors.

Harriet Has a Makeover!

Hi Stampers!

For my Wednesday Inspiration post today I thought I would make up a project using the brand new release Digi Stamp from Crafty Sentiments Designs called Little Friends! This is BRAND NEW in the store today!

I decided to make a no waste criss cross card because I wanted to use another new little Harriet on the inside :)

Here is the outside of my card:

The no waste cross cross cards are standard A2 size cards, so you are able to make 2 of this style from 1 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of card stock.  I colored this Little Friends image with my Copic markers. The rose is from Prima and the little branch punchies are made with the Martha Stewart Branch Punch. The lacy Kraft colored border was created using the Faux Crochet Die-Namics from MFT.

I kept the inside pretty simple, because there is not room for embellishments with this style card, so I just colored this cutie called Lady Bird and Butterfly up and left a blank space for writing.I sponged all my edges with the Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink. LOVE this stuff!
