Gnome Sweet Gnome

Hi Everyone,

It's my turn to show you some inspiration today.  I am so excited Laura added this SugarPea company to her store!!! Go check them all out Here:

I love this little Gnome Home and I had fun coloring this up. I airbrushed the clouds and the grass. Here are my colors: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44 for the trim of the house. E49, E47, E27, E25 for the door. R02, Y26, Y28 for the knob and hinges. R29, R27, R24 for the flowers and snail. YG97, YG95, YG93 for the greenery. For the snail body I used G43 and YG63. I colored the windows with BG10 although in retrospect, I wished I would have colored them a soft yellow, because it would have added to the dimension instead of looking like a front of a house, lol. I airbrushed the sky with B12.
I have a couple people I have gotten into Copic Coloring, so I am listing the colors for them and for anyone else interested. I know, sometimes I do and sometimes I do not, lol. But I'm trying!
I hope your Monday is going well and your week is off to a good start. There is a little bit of time left to play in this weeks Challenge - All about Green.
Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments!

P.S. A note from Laura:
Hello -

We are NOT on vacation, I just wanted to set up a response to let you know that we have been dealing with quite a few family tragedies and very serious family and friend situations over this last month. We have fallen way behind in our emails while trying to catch up on shipping out orders, so please know that we are not ignoring you if you email but it may be a few days or so before we can respond. We are trying to concentrate on what little time we have while home to get orders out first and then we will get caught up on emails. If you are waiting on an order, we are getting them out as quick as we can given the circumstances. Your business is important to us and we are so sorry for all delays in both shipping and emails and we are hoping to be completely caught up within the next week. Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers, patience and understanding as we work through these really hard and sad times with our family. It really means the world to us. Thank you so much! Laura

Happy Birthday to You!

Hello Friends!  It's Marcy here and I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!  My weekend is packed with kids' sport games and some birthday celebrations.  I actually have quite a few birthdays in March which is why I thought of making a birthday card to share.

Here's it is...

You might recognize this design as the MFT sketch of the week.  I've started following their "Sketchy Wednesday" challenges recently and I just have so much fun joining when I can.  Plus I just adore the Pure Innocence collection and of course MFT's awesome Die-Namics,  so why not have another reason to create with these wonderful products, right?!  This little birthday girl is called "Hello Cupcake" from MFT.  Isn't she so adorable and don't you wish you had a cupcake that big?!   I sure do!!! :)   She is from my favorite PI collection.  I colored her up with my copic markers and paper pieced her dress as well as the cupcake.  I also had some fun adding some stickles to the sprinkles and the cherry on her cupcake to give it even more yumminess! :)

Here are the Supplies Used:
PI Hello Cupcake - MFT
Victorian Velvet - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
RSVP - Basic Grey

Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see the items used on my card and to see all the cute PI Images as well as tons of Die-Namics and other MFT stamps carried at the store.  Laura always has new MFT products being added as well as pre-orders.

Also, make sure to come back tomorrow for the fun "Sensational Sunday" Blog hop!

Hope you all like my birthday card!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Marcy

Bundled Up - Friday Inspiration

Hello Friends!

It is Athina here with you today!  I hope you have had a great week and are looking forward to an awesome weekend!  Here on my side, my hubby and I have made some great gains towards our future and we are super excited.  So we will be celebrating a little bit this weekend! I can't wait!

For today's inspiration, I had some fun with the Snowman image by C.C Designs. He looks like he is having lots of fun!  This was a super simple card.  I used a page from the 6x6 Fancy Pants Blissful Blizzard pack and cut it out to make the sentiment across the middle.  Then I used a round circle cutter to cut out the image and a border for the image.  The image itself was colored with only a few copics (BG72, BG75, BG78, W1, W3, W5, W7, E42, E44, E49 & 0).

After I colored the image, I took clear embossing ink and covered the image.  Then I used Sparkly Embossing Powder to add a nice shine.  To finish it off, I used Polar White Flower Soft to add some snow and texture to the card.

Supplies used:
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Weathered Wood & Clear

Laura has been teasing us with lots of new items to be added to the store.  So be sure to check back often.  Also, make sure to stop by and play along with us in the Shades of Green challenge.

That is it for me today!  I am off to celebrate with hubby!  Have a great weekend and we will see you back next week.

Hugs
Athina

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Hope you are having a fabulous Holly-Day Monday!  It's my turn to show you some inspiration today.  So I got a little nautical in the process, lol.

I had fun coloring up this cute PI, I used Copic Markers: B99, B97, B95, R29, R27, R24, E25, E31, E50. I also love the dies in the World Traveler set and plan on using them again and again.

I know Laura is planning on adding more New Items to the store, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.  And if you have not had a chance to play in our Current Challenge - Anything Goes, you still have a few hours to link up for a chance to win!
