Singing Loud

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Holly-Day Monday and my turn to show you some inspiration.   Today I made six tags, lol, once I got started on one, I had to make the set.

I also added some glossy accents to the noses. I thought about a red nose, but there is nothing like a black shiny nose, lol.   I used the Blueprints 6 tags die to cut them out with the Snowy Day music paper and sponged with old paper ink using my distressed blending tool.  I then used the scallop edged circle to cut out with the red Snowy Day paper.  I used the mini doily's to cut out the white.  I stamped my Reindeer on X-Press It paper six times and colored them first with E23, E25, E27 and then the antlers with E41, E42, E43, then I fussy cut them all out and layered up.  I used a couple punches I had on hand to make the tag tops in green but later noticed this was included in the Die-namics Blueprints Tag Builder set, lol.  That would have been helpful to know, lol.

I hope you are having a great season!  Don't forget to stop by the New Items in the store and check out what you want to get in the mail for your own Holly-Day!  There is also a few hours left to get into our current challenge!

Thanks for Looking and checking in on us,

Holly

Happy Birthday!

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!  It's Marcy here to share some inspiration for today.  I hope everyone has had a great week.  I still can't believe we're already into December, can you?!! Well along with Christmas cards, I do have quite a lot of birthdays in the next few months which I need to make cards for.  So for today, I decided to make a birthday card.

And here it is...

So this is my first time coloring up a Penny Black image and I had so much fun.  The stamp set I used is called Sweet Thing.  I colored up this cute gal with my copic markers and then added some white gel pen to the sprinkles on her cupcake as well as some Wink of Stella to the frosting and parts of her outfit.  I cut her out using some stitched circles and added some sequins for some extra sparkle.  The fun papers I used are from an American Crafts collection called "Lucky Charm".

Here are the Supplies Used:
Sweet Thing - Penny Black
Lucky Charm - American Crafts
Sentiment (Happy Birthday) - Doodlebug Designs
Black Tuxedo - Memento

Make sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the adorable Penny Black collections.  They are all so adorable!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Thank You Lilies

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Holly-Day Post day.  For your inspiration today I have made a set of Thank You cards using fall colors with the Lilies Die.  Remember, you only have today to get your Thank you Cards and Gifts projects into the Challenge Blog!  Tomorrow is a new Challenge.

I've used these lily's in a similar way before.   So I was inspired by my previous card.

Which I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's video using these Lily Dies.   Who has amazing tips and ideas on how to use these dies.

Have you seen the New Look and the New Items in The Loves Rubberstamps Store?  I love clicking on the "Home" button the left, I get a whole new set of items available in the store and I find myself inspired all over again.... I don't think I am ever going to get tired of this feature, lol.

It is December first and the big count down to those celebrating Christmas and the Holly-Days.  My favorite Holly-Day of them all.  December 16th we are going to have a big Holiday Blitz Challenge and you certainly will not want to miss out on this!  Prizes, Prizes, Prizes!!!

Sensational Sunday Inspirations Blog Hop

Good Morning Stampers!

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. I hope all of you in the U.S. had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our entire family, except Austin had to work. My husband and I both had to work 12 hour shifts and our daughter worked 3pm - 1am. My son asked me yesterday.... "Mom...are we REALLY not going anywhere for Thanksgiving?" and I said no. Austin's favorite food on the planet is Pumpkin Pie which we only have on Thanksgiving (I don't know why we don't have it more!) so he is super bummed because he thinks he won't get his pumpkin pie coma! I plan on making a small "Thanksgiving" dinner just for us tonight...complete with turkey and pumpkin pie so he will be thrilled to get his pie - LOL!

Have you been busy doing some Christmas Shopping? I worked on Black Friday and am not a store shopper on this day....so I took advantage of some online deals and got the majority of my shopping done. No crowds, no hassles (except for the Best Buy Website crashing!) and it delivers to my house! Love it!

We do have a "Black Friday" Special going on at Loves Rubberstamps now through Monday at Midnight...

Thanks!

Happy Saturday all!  It's Marcy here and I have a quick fun card I made for today's inspiration.
First of all, I hope for those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, that you had a fun and special holiday!

Here is the card I made for today...

I thought a Thank You card was perfect considering the Thanksgiving holiday we just had.  For my fun and simple card, I used the Contemporary Roses stamp set and Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.   You don't really have to do much because this coordinating set is just so easy to use and the designs are so pretty.  I also made my own background using the BG Gingham Backround stamp also from MFT.  This was stamped on some kraft cardstock which gives it a more muted look and I really like the way it looks!  I really love making my own backgrounds these days and MFT's background stamps are fantastic! I have just a few but want to get more...so much fun!:)  My background images were stamped with some colorful inks from my stash.  I finished off my card scattering some sequins for added embellishment and tying some twine as always.  The "Thanks" sentiment also comes with this fun stamp set.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Contemporary Roses Die-Namics - My Favorite Things
Contemporary Roses Stamp Set - My Favorite Things
BG Gingham Backround stamp - My Favorite Things
Black Tuxedo - Memento

Make sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the fantastic background sets, clear stamps and Die-Namics from MFT.  There are always new sets coming in all the time!

Enjoy  your Saturday and we'll see you tomorrow for a new "Sensational Sunday" Blog hop!

Hugs,
Marcy
