Now on to today's blast of inspiration from our talented Design Team! Here we go....

Athina did such a gorgeous job with this! I love the rich, country colors and I love how she folded one corner of the Designer Paper for her layout! The burlap and the lace are such an awesome touch! I adore the little ticket saying with the distressed edges, super cute and goes with this image perfectly! Her coloring is so beautiful, check out the pleats she did on the shirt! Guess what a Creative GENIUS Athina is? That cute window that little Mimosa is sitting in is created with the Die-Namics Rounded Banner Stax! Total ♥

Paper Smooches 'Salutations'
MME 'Be Happy' papers

Lydia has been blowing me away with her absolute GORGEOUS Elisabeth Bell projects! Her soft pretty pastel coloring and layout choices are so beautiful! I love these Designer papers that she chose and the way she used the center of the Doily Duo Die-Namics for her sentiment! It looks awesome! Her ribbon and charm add a touch of elegance. Totally Love this!!

Bo Bunny Papers called Love Notes

WOWZERS! This is such a beautiful no lines coloring project! Shanna does such a stunning job coloring her images, just blows me away! I have bought a few of her cards, just so I could see it up close and let me tell you...even more stunning in person! Her shading and the pleats look so awesome! I have this technique on my "to try someday" list however first I need to master with lines coloring - LOL! If you want to snag up some of Shanna's gorgeous work, she has some listed for sale on ebay :) She has some beautiful cards and stunning Mini Albums! Take a look :)

This is TOO CUTE!! What a super fun image and I love how Marcy paper pieced her outfit! What a perfect pattern to use also! The colors are so pretty and that arrow is too cool! I love this layout too and check out the major bling flower center! Gorgeous! This is such an awesome design! Love Love LOVE it!   Wow! The Design Team were on their A-Game again this week! What super gorgeous and fun designs! I am hoping to get down to my crafty space and do some crafting today too, especially after seeing these inspiring cards! Amazing job ladies!! I loved each and every one! You gals ROCK!

I do want to take a moment to ask you to keep our Design Team Member - Dangina Martinez in your thoughts and prayers. Her little boy broke his arm in 2 places - OUCH! Let's send him some quick healing thoughts and hope that things go ok for him! That has to be quite painful for him!

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to leave a comment so you can be in this week's drawing! There is also time to play in our challenge this week - to have a tag on your project or create a tag - your choice :) There are some awesome prizes up for grabs there too!

Happy Stampin! Laura & The Loves Rubberstamps Design Team

My Heart Belongs to You

Hi Stampers!

Sorry for the late post today...I had a mandatory meeting at my other job tonight...GRRR!

Today is Thursday which means we have a cute creation from Ceal to share with you!

I think that this adorable and makes a super sweet Valentine's Day card! Ceal did an amazing job coloring this up to match those pretty papers. This is an image from Bildmalarna that is from one of their lines that recently retired. We have just a couple of stamps from the Tossa line so if you want them snag them up! I am not sure if we will be able to get anymore from this particular line on our next order with Bildmalarna.

Well ... I am off to hit the gym (this will be TWO WHOLE DAYS in a row - LOL - YAY ME!) and then will be trying to get ahead on some crafty projects since this is my only night off...but first I still need to find my crafty desk...darn messy desks anyway - LOL!

Have a great night all!

Fall Cutie - Scrapbook Page!

Good Morning!

I am SUPER EXCITED to share my project that I created for The Cutting Cafe with you today! This is my VERY FIRST scrapbook page that is actually for one of my own pictures. I have done a few page lay outs before but they have always been created for someone else. So ONE picture down... bazillion more to go! The funny thing is my daughter who is 3 in this picture is now 19...LOL! Running just a tad behind schedule on my scrapbooking!

Here is a look at the full 12 x 12 page

This week at The Cutting Cafe Regina gave us a choice of three different files we could use for our project. We could choose the Halloween Trio, Happy Halloween Shaped Card or the Fall Word Shaped Card. I had seen a scrapbook lay out that was done by Lynn Pratt a few years ago that was a fall themed page with leaves and had the woven background and I had always wanted to try one. So as soon as I saw the Fall Word Shaped card I knew that I had to try one of these pages!

Instead of using the Fall Word Shaped Card as an actual card I chose to use the individual letters and create my Scrapbook Page Header. That is the AWESOME thing about Regina's files... they are super versatile! The designer papers that I used are all from a Stampin Up! retired style that I believe is called Spice Cake. I LOVED this paper pack and think they should have kept it - LOL :) I first cut the letters out on the designer paper and then glued them to early espresso paper and then free cut a small border around them so they would pop a little more off the page.

Here is a close up of my Fall Letters:

I created my background weave using 3/4" strips of paper and I created some fall leaves for accents using a sizzix Leaves 2 die that is also from Stampin Up! I cut them in the same patterns in the designer paper pack, sponging the edges in early espresso and then running them through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder to add texture before popping them up on my page.

Here are a couple close up pictures of the bottom half of my page. You can see some of the leaves a little bit closer...

Fall is not complete without some adorable little Scarecrows so I added a couple of super cute ones to each side of my page for a little added sweetness :) I colored them with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink Markers and paper pieced their outfits to match the rest of the page. Both of these little Scarecrow images are from Bildmalarna. We will be adding these two images to our store with our next Bildmalarna order so watch for them :)

Here are some close ups of my Scarecrow cuties...

Mimo Scarecrow from Bildmalarna

Mimosa Scarecrow from Bildmalarna

I hope you liked my first scrapbook page! I had a lot of fun creating it! The color scheme for my project also fits this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge... use the colors Espresso, Aqua & Pumpkin... which are perfect for Fall projects! My large 12 x 12 base paper is from a Bazzill Bling paper pack. You can see the shimmer in it on some of my pictures.

Thanks for stopping by... be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe's Blog to see what the other design team members created using this week's assigned files... there are some AMAZINGLY AWESOME designs!

Happy Stampin All!

A Little Sweetness

Good evening all!

We FINALLY got some much needed rain last night even if it wasn't much...what we did get however was wind...and lots of it! We lost our power here for awhile right after I got one of our new Kraftin Kimmie Stamps listed. I will be working on getting the rest entered as soon as I can. I am going to refrain from a set time because everytime I do...Murphy's law kicks in and plays a trick on me :)

Being Thursday we are in for a super sweet treat from design team member Ceal Pritchett. She made this adorable card...

Doesn't this little one just make you smile? I love the way that Ceal colored her image and that background paper is so pretty! Ceal used the image called Little Mimosa from Bildmalarna. Be sure to visit Ceal's Blog - Simply Beautiful and see all the details on this sweet card!

Don't forget about this week's challenge - Paper Piecing! One lucky player will win a $25.00 shopping spree!

Happy Stampin!

My Sunday Shares - HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies out there! Today I have some really beautiful cards to share with you!

The first artist I want to introduce you to is Susie Lessard. I came across her work while I was looking for card ideas for one of my favorite Flourishes set, Apple of My Eye. This beautiful card just jumped off the page at me!

Isn't that gorgeous? I really love the bright colors, and the red gingham accent. I love gingham patterns, it just gives it that classic country feel which I adore. Susie did a fantastic job coloring her image too. Read more about this card in Susie's blog post.

While I was talking with Susie about sharing the beautiful apple card, she shared with me an absolutely breathtaking card that she had created in April for her Mother-In-Law's birthday. She also used Flourishes stamps for this one as well. She was kind enough to tell me that I could share it with you if I wanted and after looking at it, I said of course! Take a look at this gorgeous card...

Now is that gorgeous or what?!? Susie's Mother-In-Law is one lucky lady to have received such a beautiful gift! I LOVED the colors and the layers! If you want to read more about this gorgeous creation you can read about it in her blog post here. I hope that you enjoyed Susie's two cards and hope that you will take a moment to visit her blog, Summerwalk Designs . Not only are her cards beautiful but she has an amazing and inspirational blog as well!

This next card that I wanted to share is created by one of the most talented ladies that I have came across. If you spend anytime on Splitcoaststampers you have probably seen Birgit's work. Her splitcoast name is Biggan and she is the QUEEN when it comes to the Clean and Simple cards. I could literally put her whole gallery in my favorite's :) One of my many favorite cards of Birgit's is one that she created using the stamp called Mimosa Picnic from Bildmalarna. Take a look at this gorgeous card...

I love everything about this the colors, the flowers on the tree, and the way she created the road the little girl is riding on. Birgit has this amazing way of creating scenes that pack a bunch of beautiful details in a small area while keeping it clean and uncluttered looking. She amazes me every week and I just love seeing her creations. Please check out Birgit's amazing Splitcoaststampers gallery - Biggan and she also has a blog that you can check out too.

This next adorable card is created by Sheena. She uses a super cute Mo Manning stamp from Stamping Bella called Big Shoes.

I love this image and the saying too which is perfect for a Mother's Day card because I think all of us have someone that we look up too like that. I think Sheena did a fantastic job coloring her image to match her papers. You can read all about how Sheena created this adorable card on her blog, KanataNewf - Time Well Wasted.

The last card that I will share with you today is created by Karen Haman. She created a super cute card using my favorite stamp set from Paper Smooches called Forest Whimsy. The little gnome, Jerome is such a cutie! I love the colors that Karen chose and also the way she layered her pieces.

Isn't this adorable? I loved it! You can read all about how Karen created this super cute card on her blog, Carefree Creations.

I hope you all enjoyed today's shares! I want to extend a special thanks to these 4 amazing and talented ladies for allowing me to share their gorgeous cards with you all today.

And as an extra special thanks... I want to give a special Mother's Day gift to all the stampers out there... we are offering a special 20% discount that is good on any size order placed in our store, Loves Rubberstamps today only! Just type the coupon code MOTHERSDAYin the coupon field in the shopping cart before checking out!
