My Sunday Shares - August 5th

Happy Sunday All!

Hope your weekend is going great! Last night I went to watch my husband race. He races a sportmod race car every Saturday night. He did awesome! He won his heat race and then came in 3rd for the feature...and the car is in one piece which is always a bonus :) Other than that I have been working in the store. Today I will be listing all of the Preorder Saturated Canary Stamps! This line is soooo cute! I love them all - LOL! Hard to choose my favorite! I also hope to get some other preorders listed too...but I am starting with those.

For today's Sunday Shares I thought I would share one of my newest obsessions that I have been spotting on Pinterest and pinning my favorites furiously to my boards :) SMASH Journals or Art Journals.  I think these are a cool concept. If you are not familiar with them they are like a pseudo diary mixed with scrapbooking. You can journal your thoughts, memories, favorite quotes, whatever you wish and then you add artwork or pictures or keepsakes - whatever  to help put your thoughts into a visual form. Pretty cool! Here are a couple of my favorite pages I stumbled across and pinned to my boards...

Art Journal Pages:

This is a sample page from a book on Art Journaling by Violette called "Journal Bliss: Creative Prompts to Unleash Your Inner Eccentric" You can buy it at Amazon in paperback or a kindle edition.

This page was created by Michelle LaPoint Rydell - Inspiration Everywhere. This is a great idea to do every once in awhile I think. How fun would it be to read these years after? LOL!

Both of these pages were created by Lori Vliegen of Elvie Studio. I LOVE her style! You will have to check out her blog because there were MANY MANY more of her pages I could have pinned! Such a talented lady! I think the candy hearts page is such a cute way to show your favorite "mom-isms or dad-isms" that your parents used to tell you - LOL! I did find that on the Stamping Bella Blog - every Tuesday they dedicate to Art Journals. They have a prompt for you to create a page and then share it if you like along with samples from their design team. I was thinking of trying a few to jump start my thinking process :)

Those were a few examples or art journaling for memories sake. BUT there is another way to do SMASH journaling for crafters and that is to create journal pages of your favorite color combos! These are AWESOME and I really want to do one! You can use these for keeping track of different hair combinations, skin colors, clothes when you find a combo that rocks! You can make these for basically any coloring medium you use. Copics are popular ones but you could do them for any type - promarkers, spectrum noir, prismacolor pencils! Here are a few of my FAVORITE pages I found....

Created by Zoe Young Kirkby

Great hair, skin & clothes combos all on one page ...and it is super cute because it uses a Saturated Canary image :)

Focus on just Skin & Hair Colors

A Coloring Style

Or Colors for Clothes

The last three pages were all created by Emma from the Crafty Mummy of Five. This lady is AMAZING! Her cards and these journal pages are so cute!! Wouldn't you LOVE to just sit and look through these journals over and over? I know I would!

I think these would be so fun to do! Hope you enjoyed today's shares! If you do art journaling or smash journals for coloring techniques...leave a link...I would love to see them :)

If you want to see what else I have "PINNED" on my favorite boards see them here:

Have a "SMASHING" day all!

My Sunday Shares - July 15th

Happy Sunday All!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was one of those up and down weekends. Had some things happen that bummed me out ... but then also had some things happen that have me super excited. So overall...it all evens out in the end :) Always have to look for the silver lining and the doors that open so to speak!

Speaking of silver linings...I will be making a surprise announcement later this evening so be sure to check back for that! :)

Now on to today's shares! This first card is created by the talented Larissa who goes by Milawi on Splitcoaststampers. I was doing my usual search for my obsession...Paper Smooches stamps - LOL - and came across Larissa's A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E card!!

Isn't this the sweetest thing EVER? That huge pile of animals gives me the giggles! Larissa did a fantastic job stamping and masking to create this super cute scene! That Celebrate sign uses toothpicks for the little posts - GENIUS! Larissa used the animals from the Paper Smooches stamp set called Chubby Chums to create the card. You can visit Larissa's Blog - Car-D-elicious to see more details on this cutie!

The second card that I wanted to share with you is absolutely GORGEOUS!! It is created by the mega-talented paper artist Kathy whose beautiful blog is called Joyfully Made Designs.

Isn't this just beautiful? When I was reading about how Kathy created this card I was surprised that it was colored with prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits! The blending and shading she achieved is awesome! I would have guessed that it was done with copics. Makes me want to break out my prismacolors and play with them :) This gorgeous image is called Planting Some Love and this is one of the Belles 'N Whistles stamps that we added to our last order with them since they will be going out of business. Super bummed about that because I LOVE their stamps! Our order shipped yesterday so look for this cutie to be in our store soon!  If you want to read about how Kathy created this summer cutie you can visit her blog post or you can also visit her splicoaststampers gallery - rosekathleenr. Be prepared to spend some time on her sites because she has LOTS of stunning designs!

The last card I want to share with you today was created by the super talented Renee - of Renlymat's World. Check out this super cutie...

I LOVE this card! It is so fun! I love the paper pieced little dinosaurs and the little scene that Renee created. I have never tried a circle card before so I love to look at ones that other people have done. It is on my "things to try" list - LOL! This would be an adorable card for a little boy's birthday. This card uses the Dinosaur Party stamp set from Pink Cat Studio.
Be sure to check out Renee's blog post to read all about this super sweet card or you can also visit her splitcoaststampers gallery - Renlymat for a lot more super cute eye candy!

I hope you all enjoyed today's shares! An extra special thank you to Larissa, Kathy and Renee for allowing me to share their ADORABLE works of art with you! I hope you will check out their sites and be even more inspired by these three very talented ladies!

Don't forget you still have until tomorrow to play along in this week's Loves Rubberstamps Blog Challenge - this week it is a Summer Themed card.

Happy Stamping All!

My Sunday Shares - July 8th

Good afternoon everyone!

We FINALLY have a break from the super hot and humid weather! YAY! It started cooling off last night and today it is PERFECT out! It's in the mid 80's but there is a nice cooler breeze. My husband and I went and rode bikes at the lake. 19.2 miles is what I toodled today! That is my record... so far :)

I didn't have a lot of time to search out around blog land this last week and the few cuties I did find, I never heard back from the artist for permission to share it. I do, however,  want to share design team member, Ceal Pritchett's card though that was supposed to be our Thursday post this week but I received it late due to the holiday, and wasn't able to get it on in time. So we will share it today instead :)

What a sweet card! Ceal used the Cupcake Belle stamp from C.C. Designs. This image is from the Fairy Tales Exclusive Retailer Collection.  I think Ceal did a great job coloring her image. I love the little blush cheeks!

For the rest of my Sunday Shares today I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite blogs that I follow. These mega-talented ladies all serve on Design Teams for some of the companies that we carry and their work is just amazing! I could spend hours and hours just looking at their blogs and all of their amazing designs!

Cheryl Valadez - The Ink Trap - Cheryl is a member of the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps design team and her coloring skills are phenomenal! I did feature Cheryl on one of our Sunday Shares previously but the truth is I could literally feature her work on every Sunday Shares day because she is amazing :)

Pam Sparks - Expressions With Heart - Pam is a member of the C.C. Designs design team and her creations always blow me away! She has so many details and really puts a lot into each and every design. Her coloring skills are also amazing! Everyday when I get the email with one of her new posts I always find my new "favorite" card that she has created - LOL!

Laurie Schmidlin - Just Give Me Stamps - Laurie is a member of the Paper Smooches Design team. Her projects usually have a vintage, shabby chic style that I love. She does a lot of really fun and adorable projects using the Paper Smooches stamps that really make you say... "WOW" Why didn't I think of that - LOL!

Mariska Van Der Veer - Sending You a Little Smile - Mariska designs for three different companies that we carry.... Whimsy Stamps, C.C. Designs, and Pink Cat Studio! I also featured Mariska on one of our previous Sunday Shares posts. She is the MASTER at creating 3D cards by popping different layers of the stamped images. If you take a look at her blog she will sometimes post pictures of all the itsy bitsy pieces that she cuts the image into in order to do her layering. It is mind-blowing! But her projects are GORGEOUS so it is worth it. I can't even imagine the time it must take her to create one of her masterpieces.

Linda Heavens - Heavens Created This - Linda is on the Stamping Bella Design Team. Linda is the MASTER at coloring using a hybrid-coloring technique that fuses copic markers with prismacolor pencils to create a gorgeous finish! I could seriously pin every card that she makes onto my "favorites" board. I am always blown away by her gorgeous coloring on each and every project she creates.

I hope that you take some time and visit these "favorite" blogs of mine and get inspired by these ladies! BEWARE...you can spend HOURS and HOURS looking at their beautiful work :)

Happy Stamping All! I am going to try and create a few things later today for a couple of challenges that I wanted to play in soooo if I get too...after working in the store first... I will post my creations later on :)

My Sunday Shares - July 1st!

Hello Everyone!

Hard to believe that July is here already! It is starting off like a furnace here. This next week our coolest day will be 95. I think everywhere is hot but the miserable part is adding the humidity. Which here is about 90% so it feels like you are standing in a sauna as soon as you step outside. But what can you do...it definately could be worse so I am not going to complain!

Today for my Sunday shares I wanted to share with you a couple of cards I came across while surfing around on splitcoaststampers.

The first is a beautiful creation made by the very talented Wanda Cullen of Cullen-ary Creations. I have been a big fan of Wanda's for awhile and have many of her gorgeous creations tucked into my favorites file at splitcoaststampers. She is a member of their elite Dirty Dozen Alumni and does some really beautiful work.

This is one of my favorite cards that Wanda has created. She used the gorgeous Sunflowers stamp set from Flourishes. I love the very CAS look of this card. The sunflower is paired beautifully with that pretty yellow gingham (I am a sucker for gingham prints) and that black and white polka dot ribbon. So pretty! The layout she used is from a Mojo Monday Sketch #242. If you want to see more details on this gorgeous card that Wanda created visit her blog above, it is linked to the blog post featuring this card, or you can visit her amazing Splitcoaststampers gallery - cullenwr.

The second card that I wanted to share today is a really fun card using the Paper Smooches stamp set - Healthy Vibes. I have mentioned before but I have a little obsession with Paper Smooches stamps! Kim Hughes, the designer, has this amazing talent for creating stamp sets that you can use for many occasions, that are easy to mix and match, and that can be used in so many different ways! I love to search for cards created with her sets because you will find many genius ideas! Here is a super cute and fun card I came across this week...

This super cutie was created by another very talented paper artist - Lori Barnett of Stamp Scents! I absolutely LOVE the fun colors that Lori used on her card. She colored her images with copics and popped them up on a desert sand background that she created using the Dude Block from Paper Smooches also. I also LOVED the subtle pattern that Lori created on her tissue box by stamping a pattern from the Debonair stamp set from Paper Smooches. To make this card even cuter (if that is possible) Lori framed her desert sand block with a glitter frame! How she managed to get her lines so straight is amazing! Mine would be wavy - LOL! This would definately brighten anyone's day! Be sure to visit Lori's blog and see some of the other amazing cards she created. You can also check out her splitcoaststampers gallery too - versamom!

I hope you enjoyed today's shares from these two amazing ladies! I want to give an extra big thank you to both Wanda & Lori for allowing me to share their beautiful creations!

Stay cool everyone!

My Sunday Shares - June 17th

Happy Father's Day everyone!

Hope you had a chance to relax and spend time with family today! I spent the day with my husband and kids and we had a great lunch together. I am sorry for the late post today...my scheduler for some reason didn't post when I thought I had set it for. I didn't have a chance to check this morning before we left for the day!

Today I have some super adorable cards to share with you! I am so excited! The first one is by paper artist, Wendy Ramlakhan. Wendy is AMAZING with her copic coloring skills! I could literally spend hours looking at her beautiful cards! Here is one of my many favorites that she has created:

Wendy used the Patches 'N Braids stamp from Belles 'N Whistles. I absolutely adore the colors that Wendy used to color her image and it matches the pretty greens in her papers perfectly. I love her sky background too! I am super excited too because we are going to be adding the stamp company Your Next Stamp to our line-up as soon as order arrives and I saw that Wendy is one of their senior design team members and she also designs for The Greeting Farm which is another company we will soon be adding!! DOUBLE YAY! I will  get to see lots more of her gorgeous creations :) Check out Wendy's Blog - Sugar Pea Designs - to see more of her beautiful work! She also has some AWESOME tutorials on coloring with copics :)

This next card I found is just too cute for words! This cutie is created by Colleen Dietrich using the Love 'N Breakfast and the My Silly Valentine stamp sets from Lawn Fawn.

I LOVE this card!  Colleen's paper piecing and little scene she created is just adorable. I love how she kept the bacground simple and the accent of the vanilla background paper is perfect! This just makes you smile! Check out Colleen's Blog - Dietrich Designs and get all the details on this sweet card!

This next card is made with one of my super favorite Mo Manning stamps called What's Cookin'? from Stamping Bella. I love to do scrapbook recipe pages and this is a great stamp to use on them.

This adorable card was created by the super talented Deb Felts whose blog is called With a Stamp and a Song.  I really love the colors that Deb chose for her card and that sweet cupcake paper is perfect! I also love the green polka dot ribbon that she choose to use because it matches her apron! Very cute! Deb did an amazing job coloring this sweet little girl too!

Today's last card that I would like to share is the one created by our winner of last week's Loves Rubberstamps Blog Challenge - Laura of The Crafty Sister. She created the cutest card using the Flynn's Berry Happy Day stamp from Stamping Bella. This cute stamp is part of the Tiddly Inks Collection designed by Christy Croll. TOO CUTE!

I love the way Laura colored her image, leaving the dress white with the pink strawberry accents. This stamp is perfect to use with that cute strawberry designer paper because the strawberry shapes are pretty similiar to the stamp. Laura did an excellent job coloring her strawberries to match the paper too! Visit Laura's Blog to see the list of copic colors that she used to color this sweet little girl!

Speaking of our blog challenges - there is still time to enter this week's Love's Rubberstamps Blog Challenge of Masculine Cards! You could be this week's lucky winner :)

I really hope that you enjoyed today's shares and that you had a wonderful Father's Day!

Happy Stamping!

My Sunday Shares - June 10th

Good Afternoon Stampers!

Hope you enjoyed your weekend...mine is just starting so I treated myself to sleeping in this morning :) You have to do that every now and then I think! I have a LOOOONG list of things I need to get done around the house today...mow the yard, dishes, laundry, dust...well you get the jist of my day...all of the not so fun house chores...BUT after I am done I am going to go play in my stamp studio...I am looking forward to THAT!

Today's shares will be a little different. I didn't have much time this week to look around the galleries or do my company searches so I decided today to share some cool you tube videos that I have in my "favorites" with you, instead of cards today.

Today's videos are all created by Darlene Devries of DarleneDesign.com. She posts a new video on you tube about every Wednesday. I was searching around about creating with copics on you tube one day and came across this video she did. I loved the look of her card using copic markers on patterened paper. She uses Stampin Up! supplies but you could easily use any light colored scrapbook designer papers or stamps for this technique.

The second video I want to share with you is one about creating a card using multiple embossing powders. This card is really pretty! Not only does this video have a beautiful project...it also had a COOL TIP on how to create smaller frames with your layer dies. Doing this doubles the sizes of layers you can get out of your layer dies!!

I thought the idea of tracing the outside of your die and then cutting it out with your scissors was genius. You can get 2 sizes of layers for each die! This would work with many die brands too. Perfect for when you want just a very subtle layer.

This last video I will share with you really showcases the way Darlene colors with her copics. I really loved this method and thought that it is a great way for beginners to achieve the professional looking blends with copics. This card that she creates using a Hero Arts cupcakes set showcases this coloring style perfectly. Plus I love cupcakes :)

I hope you enjoyed today's shares. If you want to check out Darlene's other videos...and believe me she has a LOT of great ones... you can visit her you tube channel - darlene003

We will be starting to stock the copic markers at Loves Rubberstamps soon! YAY! I am excited for that! Hero Arts is also on our list of suppliers that we will be adding in the future too :)

Happy Stampin Everyone!

My Sunday Shares - June 3rd

Good Morning Everyone!

Hard to believe it is JUNE already! I am super excited for a couple of reasons today! First the artist I am featuring today is incredibly awesome and.... this week starts our first week with our new design team! YAY! We will start rolling out all kinds of beautiful and inspirational pieces of art that you can drool over starting on Monday with a super cute card by Olivia Marmara! And BELIEVE me it is SUPER CUTE! I have seen it already :)

Better yet... be sure and grab our Blog Challenges button, post it on your blog and then shoot me an email and you will also get a FREE SHIPPING coupon good on any size order! It is going to be a BLAST!

Now are you ready to droll over some of the cutest cards EVER? Today I am only featuring one, very talented paper artist because her work is just that awesome! As I told you in last week's shares I have a little obsession with Paper Smooches stamps because they are so fun and when I saw this card made with one of my most favorite paper Smooches stamp sets Alfresco... you will completely understand my obsession....

Isn't that the sweetest card you have ever seen? Gives me the giggles every time I see it! Can you believe that this card has NO patterned paper...nope...none!! That gorgeous red gingham pattern was made using the Debonair stamp set! This "cutest card on the planet" was created by the super talented, Kimberly, whose blog is called Paper Yummies. Very appropriate because her blog is FULL of some of the most adorable cards you will find! Kimberly is awesome at clean and simple cards which, for me anyway, can be challenging. Kimberly graciously told me I could share any of her cards that I liked so here are some of my other favorites that she has created (and believe me I had a hard time choosing which ones to share because I loved...her whole blog - LOL...

I chose this one to share with you because I really loved how Kimberly used Vellum as an overlay on her designer paper to change the look and give it some contrast. Brilliant idea! This card was created with the Paper Smooches Set - Circle of Honor and also the stars from Smarty Pants.

These next 3 cards of Kimberly's all use another one of my favorite Paper Smooches sets called Get Outta Town. I chose these three to show you because they demonstrate what I love about the paper smooches stamp sets... they are fun and have a little silliness mixed in...but they are SUPER versatile and allow you to create a wide range of looks from just one set.

This one features a cute little island with some palm trees.  If you look closely the same stamp image that was used to create the little birds... is also the same image upside down to create the waves! Very cool!

Now if you look at this card, Kimberly used the coconut drink and saying from the same stamp set. What I LOVED about this card is she added FLOCK to the coconut...look...

Super cute and it is the PERFECT touch! Makes you just want to touch it - LOL!

Now using the SAME stamp set Kimberly created this elegant beauty....

She used the flower stamp multiple times and colored it. The sentiment she created using two other Paper Smooches sets Pretty Momma and Simply Said. Could you tell that they were two separate stamp sets to create that greeting? I didn't until I read her post about creating this card! That is another thing I love about Paper Smooches... the sets all work together...did I mention that I love Paper Smooches yet? LOL!

I wanted to share this gorgeous card because well it is simply stunning....

I love the colors that Kimberly chose and the way she popped her butterflies. This card uses the Pretty Momma and Simply Said stamp sets from Paper Smooches. I also love the stitching that she did. Sewing is on my list of things to learn because I love the way it looks on your cards - it gives it that extra pop sometimes.

The last card that I chose to share is one that Kimberly did using a stamp set from....LAWN FAWN! Ha Ha! I bet you thought I was going to say Paper Smooches again...

See why I HAD to share this one... ADORABLE! Se used Lawn Fawn's My Silly Valentine, which can be used for many more occasions than just Valentine's Day as Kimberly shows. I LOVE the stamped sentiment on the elementary style writing paper - fits perfectly and adds the perfect touch!

I hope you enjoyed Kimberly's cards as much as I did! Take the time to become a follower of her blog - Paper Yummies - because there is definitely lots more yumminess to be found!

My Sunday Shares - May 27th

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you are enjoying this lovely 3-day Holiday Weekend! It has been pretty busy here with going through the Design Team Applicants and trying to choose our first Design Team! We have filled two spots so far and are working on the other spots! I am excited to reveal who our choices are because you will be BLOWN AWAY by their talent! But you will have to wait till Tuesday until we get all the spots filled and confirmed :)

Before I share today's cards I want to take a moment and thank our Military members and their families. Without their bravery, courage and selfless actions we would not enjoy the freedoms we do have. Words can never express the true gratitude I feel but thank you for all you do!

I have a little confession...I am obsessed with one of the newest release sets from Paper Smooches called Alfresco. This set is just so flippin cute! I haven't had the time to break my set out and play with it but everytime I have a few minutes I find myself searching for cards and projects made with it and there are LOTS of cute ones! Check out this super adorable card that I found...

This super cute card was created by Angela Thomas. I absolutely love the way she colored her image and the fun colors she used. Reminds me of going on a fun summer picnic. You can read all about Angela's inspiration and how she created this card in her blog post. If you have some time check out the rest of her blog too... Sparkle and Bling Mean Everything she does AMAZING work and has lots of cute eye candy for you!

Not only am I just obsessed with little Alfresco... I am obsessed with Paper Smooches in general...LOL! Kim has a way of designing sets that have simple, but adorable images that are super versatile and fun to use. I always love to search her line because I am always blown away by all the creative ways people come up to use her images. Here is another one of my favorite Paper Smooches finds that I came across this last week.

This cutie is created by Denise Marzec. Denise used the Little Chickie image from Paper Smooches Chubby Chums stamp set. This is another of my favorite sets... I know I have lots :) I really love how Denise colored her image and the way she did her background around it with the little dots of color. Great idea! Please check out Denise's blog post about this card. Denise is a super talented lady and is a member of the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen Alumni. Her splitcoaststampers gallery is here peanutbee and her blog, The Paper Landscaper.

This next card is AMAZING and done with airbrushing! When I first saw this I was blown away by the vibrant colors and it just really catches your eye AND it is a one layer card! Check this out...

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! This card was created by Holly who goes by kopykat on splitcoaststampers. She can do some amazing things with her airbrushing! This card uses an image from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps that is from their Krafty Klubhouse Kit - Going Places! I want you to know that we just received our Kraftin Kimmie Stamps order in the mail yesterday and I will be loading them in the store later today... including this set that Holly used! Check out Holly's splitcoaststampers gallery, kopykat and also her blog, KopyKat Creations she has TONS of super cute stuff!

My last card I want to share today is one made using my favorite Stamping Bella line... Uptown Girls!

This was craeted by mitchygitchygoomy on splitcoaststampers. The image she used is called Lolly and Her Brolly and she is one of the newest release Uptown Girls Stamps! I absolutely LOVE the colors she choose for her card and the cute paper piecing she did with the designer paper. I also love the sparkle she added to the clouds. She did a beautiful job! Speaking of jobs.... I better skee-daddle off to mine! I hope you enjoyed today's shares!

Extra Special thank yous to Angela, Denise, Holly & MitchyGitchyGoomy for allowing me to share their awesome creations with all of you! Take some time and check out these ladies blogs and galleries - they have LOTS of great projects to see!

Take care all & travel safe this weekend! Laura

My Sunday Shares - May 20th

Good Morning Everyone!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far! Before I show my gorgeous finds for this week I do want to remind you that you have until May 25th to get in your application for becoming a member of our very first Design Team! You do not need prior experience on a team so if you have been wanting to try out for one...we would love to have you :) You can read all about the requirements and the goodies you get for being a member on this blog post.
For today's first share I came across this super adorable card made by the very talented - Julia Aston while I was looking around Splitcoaststampers the other day and just loved it! This is a simple card that packs a big "wow" factor from her use of white embossing powder on her image and a beautiful white die cut tree.

This really catches your eye! Julia's card is created using a Mo Manning Stamp called Bye Bye Boy from Stamping Bella.
Now if you think THAT Julia's card is adorable... you need to check out her blog post about her inspiration for this card... then you will see why her card is so cute :)
If you have some time visit Julia's Blog, Create With Me. Like I said earlier, Julia is a very talented paper crafter and she serves on a few different design teams for some great companies. She has a lot of very beautiful and inspiring projects on her blog.
The second paper artist I came across is also extremely talented and even has her own business selling her amazing cards, called Arty Carty Handmade Cards. Her name is Stephanie Lee and she was kind enough to let me share TWO of her cards because they were both so adorable I would never have been able to decide which one to share!
This first one is a super cute idea for Father's Day, which will be here before you know it! I really love the newspaper print background and the way Stephanie colored her image. The image really "pops" with her use of color against the neutral background.

The image that Stephanie used is from one of my favorite lines from Crafter's Companion called Humphrey's Corner Collection. This particular image she used is called Father's Day and will be in our store, in the near future.
The second card of Stephanie's that I adored is an interactive card which are always a fun twist. This style is called a Hinge Card and there was a technique challenge on splitcoaststampers that was on this style card.

I love the way that Stephanie colored her image and the way she did the fur on the puppy. This image is from the Strawberry Kisses Collection from Crafter's Companion and is called Gorgeous. Which is fitting because that is what this card is... Gorgeous!
Here is the "hinge" part of the card open so you can see the greeting.

Isn't that cool? If you want to learn more about either one of Stephanie's cards you can read her blog posts on them. Here are the links for the Humphrey Card and the Gorgeous Strawberry Kisses card. Stephanie also has a lot of other amazing projects too so be sure to browse around her blog, The Arty Carty Blog with Stephanie Lee.
I hope you all enjoyed today's shares. These two ladies both are amazingly talented and I hope you will visit their sites! A huge thank you to both Julia and Stephanie for allowing me to share their adorable creations with you as well!
I am off to pack a few orders up, add some new goodies that arrived into the store and then will hopefully have a chance to ink up some stamps and play around for a bit! Enjoy the rest of your day - Laura

My Sunday Shares - HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies out there! Today I have some really beautiful cards to share with you!

The first artist I want to introduce you to is Susie Lessard. I came across her work while I was looking for card ideas for one of my favorite Flourishes set, Apple of My Eye. This beautiful card just jumped off the page at me!

Isn't that gorgeous? I really love the bright colors, and the red gingham accent. I love gingham patterns, it just gives it that classic country feel which I adore. Susie did a fantastic job coloring her image too. Read more about this card in Susie's blog post.

While I was talking with Susie about sharing the beautiful apple card, she shared with me an absolutely breathtaking card that she had created in April for her Mother-In-Law's birthday. She also used Flourishes stamps for this one as well. She was kind enough to tell me that I could share it with you if I wanted and after looking at it, I said of course! Take a look at this gorgeous card...

Now is that gorgeous or what?!? Susie's Mother-In-Law is one lucky lady to have received such a beautiful gift! I LOVED the colors and the layers! If you want to read more about this gorgeous creation you can read about it in her blog post here. I hope that you enjoyed Susie's two cards and hope that you will take a moment to visit her blog, Summerwalk Designs . Not only are her cards beautiful but she has an amazing and inspirational blog as well!

This next card that I wanted to share is created by one of the most talented ladies that I have came across. If you spend anytime on Splitcoaststampers you have probably seen Birgit's work. Her splitcoast name is Biggan and she is the QUEEN when it comes to the Clean and Simple cards. I could literally put her whole gallery in my favorite's :) One of my many favorite cards of Birgit's is one that she created using the stamp called Mimosa Picnic from Bildmalarna. Take a look at this gorgeous card...

I love everything about this the colors, the flowers on the tree, and the way she created the road the little girl is riding on. Birgit has this amazing way of creating scenes that pack a bunch of beautiful details in a small area while keeping it clean and uncluttered looking. She amazes me every week and I just love seeing her creations. Please check out Birgit's amazing Splitcoaststampers gallery - Biggan and she also has a blog that you can check out too.

This next adorable card is created by Sheena. She uses a super cute Mo Manning stamp from Stamping Bella called Big Shoes.

I love this image and the saying too which is perfect for a Mother's Day card because I think all of us have someone that we look up too like that. I think Sheena did a fantastic job coloring her image to match her papers. You can read all about how Sheena created this adorable card on her blog, KanataNewf - Time Well Wasted.

The last card that I will share with you today is created by Karen Haman. She created a super cute card using my favorite stamp set from Paper Smooches called Forest Whimsy. The little gnome, Jerome is such a cutie! I love the colors that Karen chose and also the way she layered her pieces.

Isn't this adorable? I loved it! You can read all about how Karen created this super cute card on her blog, Carefree Creations.

I hope you all enjoyed today's shares! I want to extend a special thanks to these 4 amazing and talented ladies for allowing me to share their gorgeous cards with you all today.

My Sunday Shares - May 6th

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope your day is going well! My Sunday will hopefully be spent down in my stamping studio! I need to finish getting it painted so I can start moving all my stuff into it and get it ORGANIZED! Is that even possible in a stamping or craft room? LOL! Mine can be the cleanest it can possibly be until I make a card and then it looks like a craft bomb exploded in there! Can't believe how messy it gets from making one simple card :)

Today I want to share with you some AMAZING cards created by a super talented artist that I came across while looking around pinterest, Cheryl Valadez. Yes...I am addicted to pinning...I can admit it :)

Cheryl's cards are very fun and vibrantly colored. She does AMAZING at coloring her images with copics. I aspire to color like her someday :)

Here are a couple of her cards that really caught my eye...

I absolutely LOVE this card! The background is so cool looking with the brick peeking out. This is a super cool background look for the KennyK Glam Gang stamps from Whimsy Stamps. This cutie she used on this card is called Star.

I really love how Cheryl colored this image called A Pen Friend that is designed by Elisabeth Bell for Belles 'n Whistles. I also love the background and layout she chose. It is simple, yet looks elegant the way she put it together. The two pretty flowers are the perfect touch with the notebook paper background.

These next two cards that I wanted to share are also super cute and are ones that Cheryl created using stamps from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I LOVE this company and am super excited because we are adding them to our store as soon as our order arrives! YAY!! And I didn't know this before but Cheryl is on their design team so I get to see lots more of her amazing work too...double bonus!

This card is probably my second most favorite! I love the Lulu Collection designed by Cheryl Alger for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and we will be adding these to our store soon as well. One of my favorite things to do is scrapbook our favorite family recipes and so this card really jumped out at me. Plus that little muffin pan charm is adorable :)

The last card I wanted to share with you is this one:

This card Cheryl created using the Aphrodite stamp from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and is from the Moonlight Whispers Collection designed by Annie Rodrigue. I think this one jumped out at me because besides the image being cute and colored perfectly...it has my last name on it in red sparkles...LOL!

I love Cheryl's work and think she does a fantastic job not only with coloring her images but also with choosing the perfect backgrounds and layouts to really make the whole card a real work of art. It was SUPER hard choosing my favorites because Cheryl has so many that I just love so I will post the links to where you can find her work and see for yourself :)

Here is a link to Cheryl's Pinterest Board - "My Card Stuff" I could seriously repin all of her cards to my favorite cards board - LOL!

Here is Cheryl's Blog - The Ink Trap

I hope you will visit Cheryl's sites - you will definately be blown away by her work! She is a super talented lady and I am very grateful that she allowed me to share these amazing cards with you today! Thank you so much Cheryl!

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sunday... now I am off to my studio :)

Happy Stamping - Laura
