Prima Tag

Hello everyone. Shanna here with some simple inspiration. I really enjoyed playing with some little things I had on my desk.

I played with a new Prima stamp in my stash.

I used some fun trim in my stash too.

Doesn't this gold shimmer from the Hallo Blue Gold look amazing?

I stamped the heart on white cardstock and cut it out. Mounting the image with chipboard.

I kept it really simple using some Distress Ink, water, a little paint, and a white pen. Really fun all the way around.

More Prima Cards

Shanna here and I did it again. I recently shared some cards I made using Prima stamps. I just love how quick and simple these cards were to make.

I stamped the image first with some Staz-On Ink and then dis a quick spritz some Prima Bloom Sprays.

Then same with this as well!

Then I added some fun flowers from my stash and voila. Two quick and fun cards.

Prima Cards

Hello everyone Shanna here to share some cards. I so was excited when I saw some similar cards made in the same style for Prima. I believe this was a Live With Prima class and it was just a blast watching cards like these being made!

I first stamped my images on watercolor paper. Then used my Bloom Sprays.
After adding that color I went in with flowers and leave for embellishing.

Doll Tag

Hey everyone. Shanna here with a  little Thursday inspiration!

I created a tag using a Julie Nutting Prima Doll tag.

Her name is Shay! I stamped her on some white cardstock and colored her with some watercolor pencils. Talk about fun!

Then I stamped her again on some Prima Paper - Epiphany Collection. I paper pieced the outfit together and layered her down.

For the tag I started with some Distress Paint (Cracked Pistachio), dried it, and then used the Distress Ink Abandoned Coral with a blending tool around the edges. Splattered some water and then let it dry.

I added my built up image and embellished the tag.

Don't forget to stop by the store and see all the new stuff coming in.

Create Magic

I couldn't help it and had to do a little more mixed media again! This card was created for Loves Rubberstamps. This time I play more with teals and a little texture!

I had no idea what I was doing. This was just total play time I will admit. Then I have these canvas tags in my stash and I thought TEXTURE.

I did use some dimensional paint again and thought the shimmer of the brown paint complimented my distress edges!

Thanks so much for joining me today. Keep coming back for more inspiration!

Summer Art Journal Page

Hello everyone. Shanna here with some new weekly inspiration! This week I played in my art journal with some new H20's I got. I thought something bright and colorful would really pick up the doom and gloom of the weather here lately.

I loved playing this go around. I love teal by nature but I like to play with other bright colors too.
This page first got a coat of gesso. After gesso I played with some gelatos.
Then I gave some splotches of H20's a whole bunch of different colors to be exact.

Then I used some 3D Matte Gel mixed with glass glitter to lay down some of the stencil. I also used some stamps newly created by Limor Webber just to add some edging around the edges.

Here you can see more up close details here in this photos.

You're an Angel!

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!!!  It's  Marcy here and I'm so happy to be back posting on the Loves Rubberstamps blog today!  With the reopening of the store, there are so many new stamps and crafting items that I can't wait to get my hands on!  I'm looking forward to lots of new creations and of course sharing them all with you! :)

Here is the card I made for today...

So  I had originally thought to make a Christmas card with this adorable Gorjuss Girl image called The Black Star.  However, I ended up deciding to give her wings by using my Wings stamp set by Prima Marketing and voila, she became a cute angel! :)  I had so much fun coloring her up with my copics and couldn't resist adding lots of my Wink of Stella to give her lots of shimmer.  I also added some stickles to her wings for even more added sparkle!   For the soft background,  I did some masking and used some of my Tim Holtz distress inks.  I just love how the inks blend together so perfect every time!

Here are the Supplies Used:
The Black Star - Gorjuss Girls Stamps
Wings - Prima Marketing
Seedless Preserves - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Faded Jeans -Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Weathered Wood - TIm Holtz Distress Ink
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo - Memento

Make sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the new Gorjuss Girl Stamp sets as well as so much more!  We also have a blog hop starting tomorrow where you can win some fun prizes so hope you will all join in!

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Marcy

Beautiful Prima Clutch

Shanna here with a  fun new creation. It is rather small but was lots of fun.

First I stamped the image. Then I got out my bloom spray and gave a little squeeze for the splatter look. Then I embellished with flowers, leaves, and bling!

I used a stencil to add the beautiful with a Faber-Castell Pitt Pen.

Here is a close up of the flowers and bling.

Here is the back with just a little splatter. I wasn't sure if I should add something on the back but I think the splatter really makes it awesome.

Hope you are inspired to play and get some stamping done.

WOW Wednesday - Featuring Dangina

Hi Stampers -

Hope you are having a great week so far! My week has been long and I will be ready for a few days off when they get here - even though they always go by so fast :)

Today I would like to share a few of  Dangina's gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous...did I mention GORGEOUS?? Altered Notebooks and Album that she has created using the Prima Dolls. I know I am kind of on a Prima Doll kick because I love these stamps but I find them intimidating a little because of their large size so I LOVE looking at how people use them - LOL!

Now Dangina has also created quite a few stunning tags using these dolls as well but I will save them for a later feature otherwise this post would be ginormous because they are all so pretty! :)

Here we go...

This is a jaw-dropping 12x12 inch scrapbook album that Dangina created using the Doll with Bolero Sweater stamp! I love the color scheme and all of those beautiful zig-zag flowers that Dangina created! Couldn't you just stare at this for hours?!?! I know I could! I also love all the different textures, layers and bling! Such a beautiful family heirloom!

Dangina also did a few different Altered Composition Books as well. These are all amazing! Such a neat idea to create notebooks you would be proud to show off and use! These would make stunning gifts too! This beautiful black and white themed notebook was created using the Doll With Swing Dress stamp.

This altered composition book was created using the Lorrena Prima Doll Stamp. She has a wide, full dress and I love how Dangina added the bling to the folds of her dress! The ribbon flowers on this are so beautiful also!

I love the neutral color palette that Dangina used with this journal! Check out the background too! I love the mix of the brick patterns with the distressed dots - looks amazing! The paper pieced outfit on the Doll With Bolero Sweater stamp goes perfectly with the background! The flowers add such elegance to this! Love it!

Every time I saw a new Altered Notebook that Dangina did I swore it was my new favorite and then she would make a new one that I loved just as much - LOL! I love the purple and white color scheme on this one. The zebra stripes on the dress give it the mix of a little wild with the girly-ness of the flowers and bling! This one would totally be my style :) This Prima Doll is called Doll With Pocket Dress.

This is another adorable altered notebook featuring the Doll With Ruffle Dress stamp from Prima. I really love the neutral colors on this one and using two different patterns of paper to paper piece the dress! The embellishments really look gorgeous and I bet the gold embossing really looked amazing in person!

And the last one uses the Doll With Swing Dress Stamp. I love this one! The pinks pop off the background and I love all the sentiments, and that camera is so cute! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Well...I hope you enjoyed Dangina's Altered Notebooks and Prima Album! I really love the variety of colors, styles and themes of the different notebooks! Some AMAZING and STUNNING WORK!

I have listed the newest release prima dolls last week in the store so be sure to check those out and I will be listing some of the new release prima collections for preorder as well over the next few days :)

Thanks for stopping by today!

WOW Wednesday - Featuring Marcy

Good Morning Stampers!

I feel like I haven't wrote a "real" blog post in a long time! I haven't had as much crafty time...well that is a total understatement...I have had NO crafty time since the beginning of April with all the personal things we went through and trying to keep things together and running. Now that things are more back to normal and I can try and get on a routine I am hoping to remedy my no crafting slump this week so wish me luck! LOL!

One thing that I thought would be fun to do is have a "WOW WEDNESDAY" each week. Our design team is so phenomenally talented and I am always so grateful for all the ladies on our team and the ones that have been with us and moved on, I just can't even tell you. These ladies put in a lot of hard work and I could literally spend hours just going back through all of the team designs and oooohing and ahhhhing - LOL! Sooooo I thought that if I loved seeing the "Blasts from the Pasts" from our Design team ladies, then you might as well!

Each Wednesday I am going to share a few favorite projects that one of our design team ladies have created with you. It could be from one of our current design team members or a past member, might be one project or a few...but they will always blow your socks off :)  I think it will be a fun feature and I hope you all enjoy seeing these past stunners as well!

Today's projects were all designed by the mega talented Marcy Dangcil. I call Marcy our Queen of Girlie Projects because she always does the most beautiful projects filled with lots of bling, pearls, lace, flowers, and all those pretty things us girls love :) I have recently added the newest release from the Prima Mixed Media Doll Collection by Julie Nutting to the store and so I thought it would be fun to check out some of the gorgeous tags and mixed media canvas projects that Marcy created using these fun Prima Doll Stamps!

This gorgeous tag was created for our Anything Goes Challenge #102 using the Prima Doll With Strapless Dress stamp.

This beautiful tag was created using the Doll With Ruffle Dress stamp for our Anything Goes Challenge #64. I LOVE how Marcy added the little rose trim to the dress and one for her hair!

How gorgeous and girly is this tag?!?!? I love the lace trim and flower bead trim on the dress, the lace bow, all the gorgeous flowers....everything - LOL! This is the Riley Doll stamp and Marcy also used the Wings stamp set that is created to use with these dolls as well. Marcy created this gorgeous tag for our Anything Goes Challenge #81. She has some close up pictures on her blog post here if you want to check those out!

I really love the colors in this tag and her paper pieced dress is so pretty! This gorgeous tag was created using the Doll With Peasant Dress stamp for our Anything Goes Challenge #72!

And.... last but not least.... this breath taking Mixed Media Canvas using the Prima Doll With Swing Dress!

Wouldn't this look amazing hanging on your wall or displayed on a shelf? I LOVE the sequin trim dress - how GENIUS! Such a stunning project!

I hope you enjoyed checking out Marcy's stunning Prima Doll projects with me today and i hope you were WOW'ed! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Prima Tag

Welcome to a new Thursday of inspiration. I decided to create a tag this time around using a fun new Prima stamp in the store.

First I covered the tag with different sprays.

Then I stamped the image and added some splatters.

I added some Chit Chat stickers with gel medium and used my PITT Pen to add shadow around the words.

I also used a white gel pen to add highlights everywhere!

This was such a quick tag I threw together so I hope you enjoyed it and try a Bloom Girl Tag yourself. Be sure to check out the rest of the Prima stamps in the store here!

A Sun Kissed altered Canvas!

Hi Friends, It's Marcy here and I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  I've been under the weather this week and have a few cards in the making but thought I'd share another canvas with you.

Here it is...

This is one of my favorite pictures of my son, Ethan, taken a few years back!  I knew the minute I saw this picture, I wanted to do a layout of some sort with it.  I had some extra canvases so ended up altering one of them.  After coloring up the base with some sage green acrylic paint, I again kept it pretty simple since the papers I used are so pretty already.  This older paper collection is from  Prima called "Sunkiss" and is still one of my favorites.   I embellished my canvas with goodies in my stash including some burlap, a small wooden chipboard frame from Michaels, some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and a Tim Holtz ticket stub which says "Adore".   On my roses,  I also added a bit of gold stickles around the edges to tie in with the colors and give them more sparkle!   I was out of my sculpting paste but may add a little bit of stenciling later since I love that mixed media look.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Sunkiss - Prima
Tim Holtz embellishment
Pumice Stone - Tim Holtz Distress Ink

Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see the items used in my project!  Tomorrow we have the "Sensational Blog Hop" so be sure to come back to visit!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Marcy
