What's Up?

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Happy Holly-Day Monday and it's my turn to show you some Inspiration over at the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.   I have a CAS Design for you today.   It only took 4 hours to think about the design and less than 30 minutes to execute it, lol.

Does this ever happen to you?  You have to think about it for a long time before it just comes to you? I thought I would let this cute paper do most of the work for me and it goes so well with this sentiment set.

So have you checked out the New Items in the store?  We are so excited to have so many goodies to choose from now! I'm going back and looking at the goodies I bought I while back and wanting to use them now. lol.   I swear, sometimes the hunting and gathering is more fun that than the using them.  But I do love it when I can come up with a quickie once in a while.

Also, today is the last day to play in our "add flowers" challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.    And be sure to join us again tomorrow for a whole new challenge!

Until next week,

Holly

Hope you are all having a great weekend so far! Yesterday was my F-Word birthday. We celebrated at the race track since my husband was racing and when I got there my brother had a surprise waiting for me in our race car trailer...

LOL and the age jokes didn't stop there...here is my "Older Than Dirt" birthday cake...

We had a pretty fun night and spending it with my family and friends made turning 40 a little easier for me to handle :) LOL!

With my crazy busy week this week I didn't get to have any crafty time this week again so we will have a throwback project from one of our super talented Design Team Members... Marcy Dangcil ... take a look at this adorable clean and simple style stunner...

I really love this! I struggle with CAS style cards so I love when I find really cute cards in this style. I love how this adorable CandiBean image is the focus and the few sprinkled sequins is just the perfect accent for this. I love how Marcy colored this too, it just pops! Super adorable card!

Here are the items Marcy used:

Love You!

Hello and Happy Saturday!  Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!  I have a card share for you all and here it is...

I'm a big fan of the Gorjuss Girls images which are all so adorable!  It had been a while since I've colored up one of my stamp sets so I was excited to create my inspiration card this week using a very sweet image called "I Gave You My Heart".  I colored this cutie up with my Copic Markers and then added Wink of Stella to parts of her dress to add some sparkle.   I kept it pretty simple just adding the beautiful papers from one of my favorite TC collections called  "Everyday Moments".  I also added a doily from my stash and some blue sequins.  The fun die cut sentiment called  Love & Adore You is from My Favorite Things.  I'm really loving the look of die cut sentiments on my cards!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
I Gave You My Heart - Gorjuss Girls
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Salty Ocean - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Clear Glitter Brush Marker - Wink of Stella
Everyday Moments  - Teresa Collins

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back with another card next Saturday!

Hugs,
Marcy

Shanna here with a new inspirational post. I have a new card to share. I haven't played with lace in a little bit and thought to give it a go!

Does this card not say Spring??? I love the soft colors of the paper and I tries to color the image to match it.

I finished off the card with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and I still have tons more.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Shake it Off

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It is a Happy Holly-Day Monday.  Would you believe it's my Friday today? lol.   Then I have two whole days off.  Whoo Hoo!  I'm going to get inky for sure.  It's my day to show you some inspiration.  I'm totally into making shaker cards right now, so after a few dozen, I should be back on track, lol.

SugarPea Designs - Hot Diggity Dog - coming soon

Love the sentiments that come with this set.  It's puppy love for sure!  Coloring up this little puppy was super easy and then I fussy cut him and added him to the top.  I have been following along on some of the Shaker Cards tutorials and they totally have me motivated to do some more.

Be sure to watch the New Items section in the Loves Rubberstamps Store, you never know what Laura is going to add next!

I hope you are having a great day!

So sorry for the lateness of my post! I am a horrible blogger today! I stayed up after work yesterday morning and worked for 8 hours getting packages shipped. We have had an AMAZING last 3 weeks with tons of orders coming in. It did make me fall a little behind due to the volume of orders but I will take that over bad news reasons :) I have another good solid day of packing and then will be caught back up. I plan on doing a lot of packing again today.

I wanted to remind you that we have a few more days to try out for our Design Team term that starts May 1st and runs through August 30th. We will have the details on how to apply for the team here on this post. You do not need prior design team experience to apply. We would love to have you try out!

With my crazy busy week this week I didn't get to have any crafty time this week again so we will have a throwback project from one of our super talented Design Team Members... Rebecca Billard... take a look at this GORGEOUS stunner...

How beautiful is this?!?!?! Rebecca created this for one of our Loves Rubberstamps Challenges and I just LOVE it! All the details and die cuts are amazing! I love how the leaves, flowers and the butterflies pop out and make a really full, stunning bouquet. I have never tried this style of project but I have it on my long list of ones to try. I will be adding a bunch of new JustRite stamps and dies to our store very soon too! They have some gorgeous new stamps that were released recently :)

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Hopscotch - Fancy Pants Designs
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Blue Skies Ahead

Hello and welcome to a new Thursday inspiration with Shanna.

I created this quick and simple card to share using a fun stamp set from My Favorite Things.

I stamped the sentiment on vellum and wrapped the vellum around the edges.

Then I added a flower I made using the sunflower die and inked the edges and used a blue button with jute string on the top.

Super Boy

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Before I get started, let me tell you there is a Design Team Call for the Next Term that starts on May 1st!

It's a Happy Holly-Day Monday and I have some cuteness to inspire you.  This is what I came up with.

MFT BB Super Boy - coming soon
MFT Small Brick Wall Stencil - coming soon

Oh I had so much fun making this one.  First I cut die-cut a hole in the center with my Blueprints 12 circle. Then I used used the stencil with my light modeling paste on a white background.  I used the Scooper the the flat bottom to scoop it out and smooth it over.  Then I removed the stencil and let it dry over night.  I guess I could have used a dryer if I really was in a hurry.  Then I my Mini Ink Blending Tool (which I love) and went over the bricks with Fired Brick and then Black Soot TH distress inks.  I added a bit of white from an old white ink pad I have here, which is now red and white, lol.  I set that aside to dry while I cut out my stars and the white moonbeam from the Sun, Moon, and Stars set.  Then I stamped the boy on Copic X-Press It paper.  And I colored him up with Copic Markers and fussy cut him out.   There will be Matching Dies to go with him when he comes to the store....and I'll be grabbing one of those up, lol.  Then I cut the black circle with my Circle Stax set 2 and adhered behind the brick wall paper.  I could have used some foam adhesive to add some dimension if I wanted.  Then I added the moon beam and the star and the boy and added the other stars.

Tools are a great thing to have.  If you see a set of dies you think are cute but you don't have an exact idea for them, go ahead and pick them up.  Having lots of dies in your arsenal of supplies really helps when you are creating and have certain ideas or want to do something typical from the norm or what you have already been doing.  The same is true for me with the Mini Ink blender tool, it's so much more quick and easy to use this little took while distressing and I can add more or give it a light coat.  It really does cut back on time it takes.  Plus when I just use a sponge, I tend to get uneven dotted ink marks.  That used to drive me crazy.  So I really like the tool that I can distress ink in one directed and get a smooth, undotted color.

I love this little Super Boy and I have all kinds of things in mind for him.  He is one I will use again and again.  I love that there are more boy images out there now.

Okay, that's all my inspiration for today.  I will see you tomorrow over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.   Be sure to visit the New Items section in the Loves Rubberstamps Store.

Hope you have had a great week so far! I have been super busy this week, getting our floors almost finished (just have our bedroom left) and doing behind the scenes store stuff and shipping orders. i did have a pretty exciting night at work the other night. I got to help a new Dad deliver his baby while talking him through the instructions over the phone. His wife delivered a little baby boy named Joel in a gas station parking lot. My Commander came in last night and told me that the local news station wants to do a news story on it on Monday - LOL! So that was interesting! Baby and family are doing great!

I wanted to remind you that we have posted a DESIGN TEAM CALL for our Design Team term that starts May 1st and runs through August 30th. We will have the details on how to apply for the team here on this post. You do not need prior design team experience to apply. We would love to have you try out!

I always love it when Holly uses her amazing airbrushing skills to create such amazing backgrounds! This adorable stamp is called Tin Can Chat from SugarPea Designs. We just got a huge shipment in from them so look for this line to be updating in our store with some in stock items and some new stamps will be added as well!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Fairy Queen Anya - The Greeting Farm
Enchanted Garden - Bo Bunny
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Distress Tool - Tim Holtz

Dylusions Card

Welcome to a new Thursday Inspiration from Shanna!

I wanted to play with some of the new Dylusions Sprays that are in the store.

I created a video of the process and would love for you to stop by and watch if you like.

I love the brightness of the new Abandoned Coral Distress Ink!

Anything Goes Challenge + DESIGN TEAM CALL

Hi Stampers!

Today we start our FAVORITE Loves Rubberstamps Challenge.... Anything Goes! We are also having a Loves Rubberstamps Design team call. You can see all the details and also how to apply in this by clicking here to go to the blog post.

Here is my project for the challenge...

I created the background using Tim Holtz Distress inks in Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, and Salty Ocean. I then used some Ranger Texture paste and a Hero Arts Stencil called Stars Pattern and created the raised stairs. This setncil also has some tiny dots mixed in with the star shapes too. After that dried I mixed some water and Perfect Pearls on my craft sheet and then splattered it using a paint brush onto the background.

I had been itching to use this cute Groovin' image from the Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Dollhouse Collection and I thought she would look cute against this background since she has little stars in her eyelids :) I just love her she is so fun! I colored her with copics, fussy cut her and popped her up on dimensionals.

The sentiments on my card are from the Avery Elle Stamp set called Written In The Stars. This will be listed in our store soon ... I am currently working on listing the Avery Elle line of stamps and dies. I used some kool tak clear foam under the gems to attach my vellum piece.

Here is a look at how I did the inside of the card using another sentiment from the Avery Elle set...

Be sure to keep checking our new items section in the store... I will be adding the perfect pearls, the hero arts stencil, texture paste and loads more very soon!

Hope to see you play along in our challenge and try out for our Design Team as well!!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
