Sensational Sunday Inspirations

Good Morning Stampers!

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher! We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month from all the comments left on the design team blogs! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Hope you are all having a great weekend so far! I have a busy weekend planned of packing orders and trying to get through organizing, listing in the store and putting away of lots of new goodies that arrived this week :) My living room at the moment looks like a moving truck unloaded! One AWESOME and LONG AWAITED package from Taiwan arrived.... our Wild Orchid Crafts order we have been  W-A-I-T-I-N-G and W-A-I-T-I-N-G - Whoo hoo! I know the ladies waiting patiently for those will be super excited! You will want to keep checking the New Listings in the store...I have lots of new things coming :)

This is a great weekend to not have to work...we are getting snow as I type this up. We are in the 8" of snow range that we are supposed to get tonight. So far we have gotten probably 5" at least. Then tomorrow the winds are supposed to start of course. It rained a TIN before the snow so there is a heavy layer of slush under the snow making it cruddy to drive. Good weekend for me to work on packing and going through stock :)

For today's project I wanted to share a blast from the past from one of our former Design Team Members... Athina! I have been searching and looking for loads of organizational ideas since I am starting to move into my craft studio and I came across this really cute file folder style organizer that she had made for her coupons. You could really adapt this awesome project for anything that you would like to keep track of. I would like to make one for my craft room projects. It would be a great place to store lists, ideas, and "to do" lists!

Athina had created this project for our "Resolutions" Challenge and her resolution was to get more organized. I love it and like I mentioned you could make and use these for so many things!

Here are the items Athina used on her project:

And here is a close up of Athina's awesome coloring skills...

Now let's hop along and see what the Design Team ladies have in store for you...

Happy Holly-Day!

Hi Stampers -

I am filling in for Holly this morning because she is a little under the weather and under strict orders from me to get some rest this week since she did an amazing job filling in for me when I had my personal things to struggle through.

Now I know you are here to see some Inspiration from Holly so I thought I would share a few of my favorite works of Holly's that she has done for some of our Loves Rubberstamps Challenges! That way for those of you who maybe don't play along in them won't miss out seeing these gorgeous projects :)

This is an adorable image from one of the newer stamp lines we have added to the store - A Random Fan and this is the super cute Travel Bug image. Holly had created this for our Corrugated Cardboard challenge. I think her coloring is so gorgeous and I love how she used the cardboard in different areas!

I LOVE EVERYTHING about this card! The color scheme is GORGEOUS, the layout is PERFECT, the handmade roses are BEAUTIFUL, Holly's coloring... AMAZING and the touch of glitter...AWESOME! This could not get any more stunning! This was for our most recent Anything Goes Challenge and Holly used the Make It Crafty image called Geeky Love Kiss.

This adorable creation was for our Sepia or Black & White Coloring Challenge. I think Holly did such a GORGEOUS job with coloring these La La Land Cuties in Sepia! I love the layout too - one of my favorites! I hope Holly does some more coloring in sepia because she totally rocks this technique!

Now this card really makes me laugh! I can totally relate to this myself with my never-ending struggle with weight loss and yo-yo-ing up and down with my weight! I mean seriously...how you gain 5 pounds from a bad weekend of eating to taking 2 or 3 weeks to lose the same 5 pounds is crazy to me...but it happens and it just does not seem right or fair - LOL! But I know we have all been there in some form or another...some in more form than others and I am in that last category - LOL! So I love stamps like these that help me laugh a little over things that I can relate too :) This set is called Make Me Fat from the Creative Visions line and they have quite a few stamps that are bound to make you laugh out loud :)

Last but not least is this gorgeous stunner that Holly created. She did not make this for any of our challenges so I hope she doesn't mind me sharing it with you....but I just really loved this clean and simple design. I love the Lily Die-Namics set from My Favorite Things and I am actually going to be working on listing some new MFT over the next few days, this die set being one of them. I just really loved the colors and the embossed background with the simplicity of the design. It makes the flowers and sentiment really pop and makes this so elegant even without all the fancy layers and embellishments. Clean and Simple cards are ones I struggle with so I LOVE seeing such gorgeous examples of this style like Holly's card here!

I hope you enjoyed seeing these blasts from the past from Holly's gorgeous work. To see more of her work be sure to check out and follow Holly's Blog - KopyKat Creations!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you feel better soon Holly!

What Gives? Athina's Inspiration Day

Good Day Crafty Friends!

It's Athina here to share a little bit of Friday Inspiration with you!  How did your week go?  I hope all is well and you are ready for a nice relaxing weekend.  Maybe get those stamps out and come to join our weekly challenge.  This week we have a super fun challenge to CASE a DT member.  So get to looking and come on over.

The card I have to share today would be a super easy card to CASE.  I used Make It Crafty - Snowelf which is colored with copics.  I added some stickles in the background to give a hint of snow.  I also inked the background a bit with  Iced Spruce - Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  The image is simply cut out and matted with black cardstock.  The background papers are by My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories.  I simply broke the two with a strip of black ribbon.  Then I added a tag which is stamped with background lettering in Brushed Corduroy Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  The sentiment, by Sweet November,  is perfect for this image.  I think being packed in snow would really change your perspective. lol....

Supplies used:
Simple Stories - Handmade Holidays

Don't forget to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all the fun stuff!   That is it for me today.  Have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs,
Athina

You Make Me Happy

Good Morning Friends and Stampers,

Sorry this is getting posted so late in the morning.  I have been on a holiday frenzy for the past 36 hours.  lol.   Yes, I just started my shopping on Saturday night after work.  From my living room of course, lol.  I am so thankful for Amazon.Com!  They had the toys and cool stuff the boys had on their list this year.  Assassins Creed Jacket for my son who will be 11, but my 7 year old Grandson calls it Assassins Creek, lol.   Oh and he wants "that stuff" too, lol.  But what the Grandson had on his wishlist was a "Zoomer".  Which is turning out to be the like the cabbage patch doll frenzy.  On-line did not have the price I wanted initially, so dear husband had to run out and FIND one! lol.  And he did, so it's all good.  I ran out yesterday morning and found everything I needed for the boys stockings.  And then it was back to Amazon to find those sendable gifts for family members.  I love that they do the shipping for you.

If you have any friends or family that you need to buy stamps for, for Christmas, send Laura an email or comment your order that this is a Christmas Present, and if it's in stock, she will get it out in the mail ASAP to arrive before Christmas, but you have to hurry and act now, you know how the mail system gets to backed up this time of year.   Click HERE to take you to the store.

Our Designer Olivia, has brought us some Sunshine and Cheer today:

This is so cute and I feel like she is cheering me on in my Christmas shopping frenzy! lol.  I love the colors and the great design.  The Die-Namics Blueprints are so easy and fun to use, I am so glad I bought mine.
Have you had a chance to see the NEW ITEMS listed in the store?  You will want to check that out!  After all, you deserve something too this year, lol.   Also there are still a few hours to play in our Anything Goes Challenge which ends this evening.  But not to worry, we have a brand new challenge starting tomorrow as well.
We still have our Design Team Call open, for all the information, see This Link
Okay, I am off to check my list twice!

Smarty Pants!

Hi Stampers!

Hope you all had a great weekend! My sister is back for only ONE DAY from Florida. She flew in yesterday for a funeral and then has to be back at the airport today by noon so I am trying to get a few things done early so I can go see her before she has to leave again. Then after that I plan on coming back home, finishing some blog posts and then working in the store the rest of the day adding some of the mountainous piles of inventory I have sitting around my dining room waiting to be entered in the store so I can put it away where it goes - LOL!

I have a super awesome card to share with you today from Olivia! When I saw this I actually laughed out loud because it is so cute and funny and the image is PERFECT with this sentiment! LOVE it!

Isn't this AWESOME!! LOL!! Olivia used the super cute Lucy's Broken Dolly from Make It Crafty and she colored her with copics. This is temporarily out of stock right now but we will be getting more in very very soon :) I think this is one of my FAVORITE stamps! The look on this little one's face is PRICELESS and anyone who is a parent has seen this face at least once from their child - LOL! Olivia paired this with one of the hilarious Riley & Company Funny Bones Stamps called Someone Told Me . LOVE this line of stamps - they are so funny. I just giggle and giggle when I read through them - LOL! Plus I will be adding many more to this line as well :) This is such a fun card! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by today!

Tonight I have to go back to working the overnight shift at work and I am kind of dreading it. Ok...not kind of...A LOT - LOL! I think my feelings about night shift influenced my card for today...

LOL - What do you think? Think I am dreading going back to night shifts or what - LOL! This adorable stamp is called Lucy's Broken Dolly and is from Make It Crafty. I colored her up with copics and used Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Antique Linen, Old Paper & Pumice Stone - to sponge around my little scene on the top and used markers to make the floor. I wanted to keep the card pretty simple so I just mounted my little scene on a piece of black cardstock. I punched the edges with a Martha Stewart loopy border punch.

Here is a closer look ...

Now be sure to check out what the other Designers have for you today! Don't forget to leave comments on all the blogs for the most chances to win! Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Shanna Shands

Bo Bunny papers called Love Letters and I used a Magnolia image called Tilda with Heart Socks and I colored my cheescloth using a Ranger Inkpad called Peacock Feathers

Shanna made that with cheesecloth that she dyed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peacock Feathers! That is beautiful! What a cute card that can be used for many occasions!

Dangina Martinez

I used an image from  C.C. Designs HONEY-BEE-TRICE and some Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp her.

This is one of my favorite lines from C.C. Designs and Dangina colored this one up perfectly!! This is a super sweet card that makes me ready for summer!
