The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town....

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday.   I know, I know, me too.   But I hope I can provide you with some inspiration for when you do get a little time to get inky.  I actually made a card that inspired another Scrap page layout!  I have now double the number of scrap pages I've done in a year!  Whoot.  Okay, don't be too impressed, it's only a few, but I do have the Scrapping Fever now, so you can expect at least one more, lol.

Here is my card for you today:

My Copic Colors are: G24, G21, G20 - for the greens, C1, C0 - shading on the bunny, R81, R83, R85 - Pink dress and hat, E25, E23, E21 for the little bunnies, RV00, RV10 for the cheeks and in the ears.  So I sat back and loved this one.  It's simple but it's so Easterish.   And I thought about what I would do with this One Big Hoppy Family set on a scrap page layout.  So I did it.

I used the basket, the marshmallow looking bunnies and the eggs from the Woven Basket Die-Namics.  I have a system I use when I am cutting out multiples of the same and so it's all assembly line work, lol.   Here is a close up of the stamps I used on the layout:

I added some glitter to the Letters, Numbers, Bow and Eggs, but it's not really showing up on these pictures.   The additional Copic colors I used are: E35, E34, E31 for the smaller bunnies, Y35, Y13 for the eggs, B91, B93.  I do have an airbrush but sometimes I just like to sponge on some Memento Cantaloupe and Tangelo for a warm sunny feel.   I also dearly love punch art and I have seen this bunny on several cards at Splitcoast Stampers.  I am not too sure who to give the credit to, but I did shamelessly KopyKat it and added the ears and the pom pom tail to it.

This may be the first time I scrapped a layout for an event that hasn't taken place, lol.  I'm so years behind that sometimes it's just good to look ahead and now I know I have to have six really good pictures! lol.

Thanks for Looking and I hope I have inspired you today.

Enjoy Your Day!

Hello and Happy Saturday!  It's Marcy here today with a card share for you all!

Here's my card...

Today, my card features an adorable image by MFT called Springtime Wishes!  This is from the new Doodle Garden collection by MFT.  These images are so cute and I have already been starting a collection of them.  Even though this cutie is perfect for a Spring theme, I colored her up in some orange and teal since those are the favorite colors of the friend I will be giving this card to.  The pretty papers I used are called "Honey" by My Mind's Eye.  To finish off my card, I added some lace, flower and leaves from my stash and a few sprinkles of some teal sequins.  Hope you all like it!

Here are the Supplies Used:
Springtime Wishes - Doodle Gardens MFT
Broken China - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Honey - My Mind's Eye
Black Tuxedo -Memento Ink
Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see the items used on my card and to see all of the cute Doodle Garden stamp sets!

Have a wonderful Saturday friends!

Hugs,
Marcy

Garden Flowers!

Hello Crafty Friends!

It is Athina here with you today!  I hope you have had a great week and are looking forward to an even better weekend!  I am guessing we will be working on our house a bit in preparation to sell it in the fall.  Who knows, our plans can change at any minute.

I have had this composition notebook for some time already covered with paper.  When I originally sat down to put it together, it just did not seem to work for me.  So I set it aside nearly a year go.  Then recently I pulled it out and thought I need to work on something with bright colors to get rid of these cold winter blues.  It came to me quickly once I put things into perspective.  I used C.C. Designs - Laugh Lines Garden.  She is colored up with copics and then cut out with Spellbinders.  Then I added a paper doily, ribbon, lace and a bunch of Wild Orchid Flowers

Supplies used:
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peacock Feathers

Laura has been teasing us with lots of new items to be added to the store.  So be sure to check back often.  Also, make sure to stop by and play along with us in the Ugly Paper Challenge.

That is it for me today!  Have a great weekend and we will see you back next week.
Blessings until next time...

Little Trumpety Baby Box Inspiration

It is a new Thursday this week. That means it is time for some Shanna Inspiration.

I got to use my Portrait again for this fun baby box I created. I love cutting 3d objects with this. It is so much easier then having to do everything by hand and trust me... I may have a Math degree but honestly, I am not architect! Maybe I should have went to school for that! It would really come in handy now!

I colored this image with copics. I love the way I colored him too. I was trying a vintage technique of coloring. I would like to call it a European style honestly. So many over in Sweden and the UK and other parts of Europe color with the beautiful and soft technique using Distress Inks. I am not so brave to try the watercoloring. I have been dying too but just don't have the time to sit and really try!

Here you can see how deep the box is. You can fit quite a bit in here.

Items Used:
Magnolia Stamps - Little Trumpety with Bow (Lost and Found Collection Coming Soon)
Magnolia Doo Hickey - Star Tag

Halloween 2013

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday, I hope everyone in blog land is having a great day.  It's my turn to show you some inspiration.  I am a card maker by nature but lately I have been trying to get some scrap pages made and all my dies and goodies available at Loves Rubberstamps, sure make it a lot of fun.  Before very much more time past, I wanted to Scrap last Halloween.

Copic Markers YR18, YR23

Okay, so I have been hunting and gathering dies and supplies for a while, lol.   I love shopping for new supplies at Loves Rubberstamps because Laura carries many different companies and I like to mix and match.  I have so many photo's I want to scrap, so hopefully you will start to see many more scrap pages from me, lol.   Crossing my fingers! lol.

I love how the picket fence and the house match the ones in the paper.  I stamped my ghost on vellum and colored the other side with my Copic Markers.  I also bought the 6X6 pad and I was able to use some of those scraps for the leaves too.

Don't forget to check out our current challenge, you still have a few hours to play and tomorrow will bring a whole New Challenge!

Thanks for Looking in on us,

Holly

Happy Day!

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!  It's Marcy here and I have some inspiration for you all today!

Here is my card share...

So I've been practicing on my "no lines" technique recently and I am really liking the different look of the images when doing this.  This sweet gal is Holiday Anya 3 by The Greeting Farm.  I stamped her up in my Memento ink in Desert Sand and then colored her up with my copic markers.   It's actually not hard to do but you just need to make sure you have lots of light to see the lighter stamped image lines as well as a steady hand! :)  The fun papers I used are called "Here and Now" by Echo Park.  Love these bright and colorful papers.  I added some stickles to the star in Anya's hair and some pieces of bling to give my card some extra sparkle! :)  I am definitely going to continue to practice this technique but for being a newbie at this, I'm happy with the way she came out!  I hope you all like my card and have some inspiration to try this technique out on a future project! :)

Here are the Supplies Used:
Holiday Anya 3 - The Greeting Farm
Victorian Velvet - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Here and Now - Echo Park
Desert Sand -Memento Ink
Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see the items used on my card and to see all of the cute TGF stamp sets including some of the new releases!

Also, make sure to come back tomorrow for the fun "Sensational Sunday" Blog hop!

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Hugs,
Marcy

Hello Friends!

I have been feeling a bit of spring weather coming on, so I hope it comes to stay very soon!  Last week I was able to get out and walk my dogs and they had such a blast and I enjoyed the warm weather.  I am ready to get out in the yard and play in the dirt and plant a garden!

So with that said, I choose to use bright spring colors for my inspiration card today!  I have used Tilda with Hawaii Flower stamped with Memento Ink - Tuxedo Black.  She is colored in bright pink Copics.  I added some grass under her feet, some ribbon, twine, charm and bling!  I also added some sewing around the edges of the inner square.

Supplies used:
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Spun Sugar

I hope you enjoyed your visit today!  Think warmer weather and spring!

Laura has been teasing us with lots of new items to be added to the store.  So be sure to check back often.  Also, make sure to stop by and play along with us in the Corrugate challenge.

That is it for me today!  Have a great weekend and we will see you back next week.

Hugs
Athina
