Love You!

Happy Saturday Friends! It's Marcy with a card share for you all today!  I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

Here is my card...

Today, I have created a fun Valentine's card using the adorable Pure Innocence image called "Love You with All My Heart" by My Favorite things.  It's been a while since I've used one of these darling images and I had so much fun creating with this cutie! I colored her up with my copic markers and then paper pieced her dress and the heart she is is holding.  I also added some Wink of Stella to her shoes and her hair clip.  The fun papers I used are from Doodlebug Design called "Sweetheart".  These papers are definitely one of my favorite collections for V-Day and I just love them!  I created a cute heart border on the bottom using my  Martha Stewart heart punch border.  Now for the sentiment "Love You", this was created using the My Favorite Things new DIE-NAMICS set called Love & Adore You Die Set.  I  think it's such a fun and different look to use die cuts for sentiments rather than just stamping them which I tend to do.  To finish off my card, I added some scattered sequins and a pink heart button from my stash with some rope twine tied in a bow

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Love You With All My Heart - Pure Innocence Collection; My Favorite Things
Friends are Flowers - Tiddly Inks
Sweetheart - Doodlebug Design
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Heart Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store for all of the awesome stamps and Die-Namics by My Favorite Things which have just been recently added!

Hope you all enjoyed my V-Day card and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Marcy

Love Stories

Hi Everyone,

It's a Holly-Day Monday, time to show you some Inspiration.   Did you enjoy the blog hop here yesterday?  Didn't know about it?  Scroll down and  read about how Laura is giving away a $20.00 gift voucher each month!  It's also the last day to play in the "B" Challenge for other prizes.

Here is my inspiration today.

I'm on a bit of a count down for Super Bowl Sunday.  This has been a bit of football withdrawl for me, but nothing compared to waiting for foot ball season again, lol.   It will be good for me not to be tied up in 3+ hour games, lol.   Plus I will have more time to spend on other things, like my New Years Resolutions.  Yeah, how are those coming for you?  I'm doing okay, 24/30 days done on my 30 min for 30 days challenge.   But about that scrap page layout each month, lol.  I still have time!!! lol.

Anyway, I hope you have been inspired to create something fabulous and I hope to see you for tomorrow's challenge as well....

Thanks for popping in,

Holly

Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Hope you are all having a great weekend so far! I haven't felt very well this week so I have been doing a lot of resting. I am hoping that sometime this week I will be able to take a few pictures of my stamping studio to share how that is coming along. I am in the very early stages of starting to move stuff in it and organize. I have a lot of ideas but not sure exactly how I want to do things yet. I guess a craft room is like a never ending project and trying things and seeing how it works for you.

For today's project I wanted to share Lydia's super cute CAS card that she created for this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge of using things with the Letter "B".

I thought this was such a cute idea to paper piece patterned papers for these cute little bunnies. Really gives it a vintage, shabby look with these colors and the pattern and makes them pop! Such a sweet design that would make a quick card when your short on crafty time!

Here are the products used on Lydia's card...

Love You Always!

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!  It's Marcy here and I have a fun Valentine's Day card to share with you all for today's Inspiration Day!

Here is my card...

So my inspiration came from a card by Kristina Werner in which she made a background by water coloring with distress inks.  You can find her beautiful card here!  I just have so much fun water coloring and am loving all the great techniques I'm seeing out there.   I took some Tim Holtz water color paper (Oh no, my last piece!) and then added lots of water and some fun Tim Holtz distress inks in shades of pinks and purples.  And voila... a fun and pretty cool looking background!!!  The adorable image on my card is by Tiddly Inks called Friends are Flowers.  I had so much fun coloring up cute Wryn with my Copics.  I also added some polka dots to her dress with my white gel pen and then Wink of Stella all over her outfit  and heart flowers.  The sentiment was stamped onto my paper using Versamark Ink and then embossed with some white embossing powder from my stash.  Of course, I couldn't resist scattering some sequins all over my card!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Friends are Flowers - Tiddly Inks
Seedless Preserves - Tim Holtz distress ink
Picked Raspberry - Tim Holtz distress ink
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Shaded Lilac - Tim Holtz distress ink
Water Color paper - Tim Holtz
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Hope my card gives you some inspiration to try some water coloring and playing with distress inks!

Enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Valentine's Cards

Good morning to you all. Shanna here with some fun and simple cards.

I decided to share some fun cards I made using the newest release from SugarPea Designs.

For my first card I used a couple different stamps. I did fussy cut the shovel out and paired it with the sentiment "I dig you" along with the heart stamp that looks like washi tape.

For my second card I kept it single layered as well.

Thank you so much or stopping by.

I heart my puppy

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Happy Monday Holly-Day!

Today I have used a cute new MFT Birdie Brown set that is coming to the store soon.
MFT Birdie Brown - You Have My Heart
MME 6X6 - Cupids Arrow

OMGosh I just love this set of stamps!  They are total cuteness.  And I do love all three of my puppies, lol.  Archie Bunker, Lucky Day and Kracken Up AKA Fatso.  So I can't wait to play some more with them....maybe even do a scrap page layout with them as well.  I did make this for someone in mind though, who is crazy about her dog and has been especially awesome lately, so I cannot wait to give it to her.

I colored this image up with Copics and dusted off the air brush machine for the air and grass.  I also colored the grass die cut.

Thanks so much for checking in on me.

Hello!

Happy Saturday Friends!   It's Marcy here for some inspiration today!  If you are following the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week, you know that the theme is to ink up with a color other than black.  I thought this would be the perfect time to practice some "no line" coloring!  So even though the challenge started last Tuesday, I thought it would be fun to continue the theme into the weekend with my Inspiration Day!

Here is my card...

The sweet image I used is from a set called Miss Anya Scarves by The Greeting Farm.  This is the first time I've used this collection so it was a lot of fun!  I really like this technique too because you have to be extra careful with your coloring which always helps me to concentrate more on the details of the image.   I stamped up Anya in Desert Sand by Memento Ink and then colored her up with my copics.  I added some Wink of Stella to her hat and scarf to give her some shimmer.  At the bottom of my card, I used the Die-Namics Scallop Border Trio Set from My Favorite Things.  I added some fun rhinestones to the border as well as some scattered around Anya.  I also couldn't resist pulling out some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts including these cute white crochet flowers!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Miss Anya Scarves - The Greeting Farm
RSVP - Basic Grey
Desert Sand - Memento Ink

I'm really happy with the way my card came out and I hope you all like it too!  There's still time to join in the challenge so stop on by the Challenge Blog to see the details.  We also have a new Blog Hop here tomorrow!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Filled With Love

Welcome to a new Thursday inspirational post for Loves Rubberstamps.

Today I sharing a fun new card I created using the brand spanking new stamps from SugarPea Designs.

I kept my card pretty simple because I want this to be great as a card for anyone. I love the simplicity of it and the sentiment on the vellum. I still need to find some vellum tape so it doesn't show through the vellum! Or find some thicker vellum lol.

Hope you are all having a great weekend so far! I was not feeling well the last few days with my colitis. I went back to the DR on Wednesday and had all my dosages upped on my meds again. Hopefully this time will help get it back to remission. I am ready for that! I go back to the DR Feb 2nd pending no new infections or issues. Fingers crossed things get better! I did make some progress getting orders shipped but still have some to go before being fully caught back up. Thank you for your continued patience! I know it is frustrating when you want your goodies and I am really sorry about that!

Today I would like to share with you a blast from the past from Dangina...

I love when Dangina uses the adorable Whimsy Wee Stamps on her cards! Her coloring is so pretty! I love this one because you can do this in so many color schemes for many occasions. This one has a Christmas feel with the plaid and poinsettias. Very beautiful!

Here are the items Dangina used on her project:

I Love You!

Hello!  Marcy here with another Inspiration Saturday for you!  Hope you've had a great week and are all enjoying the brand New Year 2015 so far!!! I have a simple but fun card I've made to share with you all!

Here it is....

Today, I decided to take a little break from coloring and I felt like playing with some dies and background stamps.  One of my favorite companies for this is My Favorite Things!  They have the cutest background stamps and dies and so many to choose from! I wish I could have them all!!!  For my card, I used the fun MFT BG Gingham Background Stamp!  I love gingham and this background is so versatile for so many occasions.  Although the last few times I've used it, I stamped in red, I'm thinking this would be so pretty in blues and yellows too!  Definitely going to try some new colors.  Now for my layered hearts,  this die is called Hearts Die-Namics also by My Favorite Things.  Super fun to use and it even has small holes where you can add some stitching.  I decided to do just that with some thin red ribbon from my stash and I love the look of it.  The sentiments were stamped on kraft using a Doodlebug Designs stamp set and I went over the hearts with my Wink of Stella gllitter to give them some shimmer.  To finish off my card, I added a sprinkle of some sequins which I love to do on almost all of my cards! :)

Here are the supplies used on my card:
BG Gingham Background Stamp - My Favorite Things
Hearts Die-Namics - My Favorite Things
Sentiments - Doodlebug Designs
Mono Multi Liquid Glue - Tombow

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the great MFT stamp sets and Die-Namics.  You can also pre-order some of the sets.  Tomorrow starts another fun "Sensational Blog Hop" so be sure to visit again!

Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Sensational Sunday Hop With New Design Team Members!

Good Morning Stampers!

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher! We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month from all the comments left on the design team blogs! Well the Holidays are behind us and it is CRAZY that 2015 is here already! With the new month comes our new Design team members who are joining our existing team! We are super excited that ALL of our design team ladies chose to stay on with us for this next session too!! :)

We have joining us today our 3 new Design Team Members and I am super excited to have them with us! They are each very talented and have a unique style that will fit in perfectly with our team!

I have not had a chance to get to my craft room yet. My husband was such a sweetheart before Christmas and was working on my craft studio getting it ready for me to move into so I can get organized and stop trying to craft out of boxes! He got the trim all done, the carpet in - the only thing is to finish the electricity. I need to stain my doors and the door jams still but since I have been so sick, standing for long periods of time has not been an option. I am finally getting my symptoms back under control with tweaking my meds and all of that fun stuff so maybe after I get caught up with store business I will get a chance to start on them and get back in the craft room :)

So for the Sunday project today I wanted to share with you a project created by Blankina for our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week. I really LOVE the Victorian House Die that she used as the background for her stamped image. This is from Marianne Design. I think it looks stunning when you see it on a card. I love how Blankina just added a little bit of shading to give it some dimension! Looks so pretty!

I love the monochrome color scheme too! Here is a list of products that Blankina used to create this beauty:

Kraft, white molotov pen, pearls

Cheers to You and Happy New Year 2015!

Hello Friends!  It's Marcy here with my 1st Inspiration post of the New Year 2015!!!  Can you believe it's here already?!!  Last year flew by so fast but I am really excited for the new year and have lots of goals and resolutions planned!  I am definitely looking forward to a great and fun year ahead!  For my card share today, I wanted to make a card to celebrate!

Here it is...

So what better way to ring in the brand New Year but to create a card using cute Holiday Anya 2 from The Greeting Farm!!!  She's still one of my favorites and so perfect for holidays!  I had fun coloring Anya up with my Copics and added lots of my Wink of Stella Glitter to make her shine!  I felt like creating a fun shaker card and added lots of blue and teal sequins to the shaker window.  I embossed the base of my card using some polka dots but also used some fun papers called Frosty Friends from Doodlebug Designs.  For my handmade banners, I made them using some glitter tapes and trims I had in my stash

Here are the Supplies Used on my card:
Holiday Anya 2 - The Greeting Farm
Frosty Friends - Doodlebug Designs
Black Tuxedo - Memento
Mono Multi Liquid Glue - Tombow
Peacock Feathers - Tim Holtz distress ink

Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store when you have a chance.  There are lots of new items  in the store and so much more to come! :)  We also have the first "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop of the new year tomorrow so make sure to come back to visit!

Wishing all of you a wonderful and special New Year 2015!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
