Hi Stampers!
Happy New Year's Eve! If you are all venturing out please be safe! We have a fun night planned at home! We will be playing a game called Qwelf with the kids where you have to do silly things. It can be quite entertaining! I am also getting ready to make some homemade nacho dip and little smokies with BBQ sauce for snacks. I am going to make the kids homemade strawberry & pina colada daiquiris (non-alcoholic of course) that you twist together so they have a fun drink to try. I looked online and found a drink that I want to try called Ocean Drive that sounded super yummy with coconut rum, blue curacao, pineapple, orange & cranberry juice. I am not a champagne drinker so that will be what I toast with :)
Here is today's adorable inspiration piece from Olivia...
This is absolutely the cutest! I love the paper piecing that Olivia did on her Greeting Farm Cutie - Cheeky Geeky! What a cute layout and that ribbon is so pretty too!
Have a wonderful & safe evening all!

And I SWEAR that I will get the new Lawn Fawn stamps that have arrived in the store TODAY... including the Sally's ABCs that Lydia is AMAZING at using! I can never get my letters so straight using an alphabet set! AWESOME JOB!!

Wow! Check out this SNOW!
Hi Stampers!
Hope your Saturday is going well! I had to work at my other job today for awhile and then was trying to organize some things so I can get a bunch of new arrival stuff listed! There is a LOT so be prepared - LOL! I will be trying to list some new stuff each day. I have been working on expanding some categories of things we offer so I have been getting in more accessories, and embellishments and those things in to get a better variety of those type items. BUT... before I can list them I have to build the categories in the store so it is taking a little longer initially...but once they are built then I can get stuff in quicker! Super super excited for all that is coming...so keep an eye out on the new arrival section in the store that is the easiest way to see what has been added since your last visit :)
Today is Jacqueline's Day to share some inspiration with you! I like to call these the Saturday Stunners because that is EXACTLY what her projects are...
I wanted to make this picture nice and big so you can really see those GORGEOUS pine branches with the snow effect! Doesn't that look REAL?? I LOVE it! I am super excited too because Jacqueline created this using a Uchida Snow Marker and I had ordered some of them for the store along with my trusty Liquid Applique that I use for snow texture too. So look for these real soon!
That gorgeous Angel Ornament is from Impression Obsession! Jacqueline did such a beautiful job coloring this and adding all that glitter for bling! I bet that this is STUNNING in person! See why I like to call these Saturday Stunners?
Well I better go get busy listing some more new stuff...have a great night all! If you haven't left your comment this week on the sensational Sunday Inspirations post...you better do it quick because tomorrow we will draw the winner for this week!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin!

What an Angel
Happy Holly-Day Stampers!
I am having one of those days where I am frustrated with my clutter - LOL! Our house is never immaculate, and has that "lived in" messiness to it and today it is just driving me nuts. I want to take the whole day and just purge stuff I don't need that is just taking up space. Do you ever have those days? My table is always a catch all so you can never see it...my crafting table is buried so I can't see it...I feel like I am stacking things in new piles just to find the things I want - LOL! Driving me nuts, I tell ya - LOL! Sometimes I think I need a professional organizer to come in because I don't know where to start. I usually start one thing and then get ADD and go to put something somewhere and see something else there I need to do so I start that, and then I spend the whole day never really finishing anything! LOL! Our house doesn't really have any good places for storage, so I have a lot of stuff I just don't know where a good place to stick it would be. Annoying - LOL!
On a more happy note... I found out last night that I am going to be an Aunt again! YAY! My brother and his wife will be having a new little one towards the end of August. I am super excited about that!
On to today's super cute card by Holly!
I think this is absolutely adorable! What a cute cute image! This is the Angel Marci with Lyre stamp from La La Land Papercrafts. I did get a new shipment of La La Land stamps in and this is one that arrived :) I have quite a few new items that have come in that I just need to have time to get uploaded to the store so be prepared for LOTS of new and exciting stuff being added very very soon! The colors that Holly chose are just gorgeous and check out those super cute cheeks :) Love the way Holly does those! Holly stamped her image using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink so she could color it using copic markers. Memento is such a great ink for that because it will not smear. The tab was created using the My Favorite Things Die-Namics Mini Tab Quartet Die and Holly uses The Best Glue Ever! from ScrapPerfect to hold everything in place! This is such an elegant yet adorable card! ♥ It!
Well I better get to the Post Office and the store and then get back here to try and contend with this clutter so I can relax and start working on getting some new products listed in the store! That is way more fun then dealing with clutter anyday - LOL! ;)
Be sure to play along in our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week... you could be our lucky winner of a $50 gift voucher to our store and your choice of some super cute Saturated Canary Digi stamps! It is a New Year's Party theme!

Just Chillin'
Hi Stampers!
This will be a quick post today...have lots of things to do today! It has been one of those days so far that you feel like your going 125 mph and you get nowhere - LOL. Hopefully it will turn around! We are supposed to get more snow tonight - anywhere from 1 to 3 inches. Not as bad as the blizzard but enough that my hubby is happy because he MIGHT get to use his new snow plow blade :)
Today's inspirational card from Ceal goes perfect with the weather we have here - LOL!
This adorable snowman is from Paper Smooches stamp set called Swanky Snowdudes. I love this set - it is super cute and of course I am a sucker for snowman stamps :) There are NO ugly snowmen - LOL! I love this color combo, kraft, red and white are one of my favorites to use. I love this clean and simple design too!
Well I hope you all have a more productive day that I seem to be having! I am back to the grind...so wish me luck!
Don't forget to play in this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge - It is a New Year's Celebrations theme and we have AWESOME prizes from Saturated Canary and a $50 gift voucher to our store too!
Also for another chance to win a gift voucher leave a comment on our Sensational Sundays Inspiration Post and you are entered :)

Winter's Day January Calendar Page
Hi Stampers!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We had a pretty good one here. My husband bought me a lap top so I am able to take it with me when I go back to working the dreaded night shift at my other job on January 4th! UUUUGGGHHH!! Not looking forward to that! But now I will be able to work in the store and keep up on things better while I have some downtime on the overnights ;)
And ... I finally got some batteries for my camera! YAY! So now I can actually take some pictures of my project for the post today! :)
I decided to combine my inspirational project for this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge of New Year's Celebrations along with my Inspirational Design Team Project for The Cutting Cafe since this project is awesome for both!
This is what I made as Christmas gifts for my Mom, Grandma, 2 Sisters and Sister-In-Law and of course I had to make one for myself too :)
This is a Calendar page that fits in a 4x6 inch acrylic photo frame that comes with a magnet on the back for hanging on your fridge! How cool is that? I will make a new page each month and mail it out so that they will be able to change it for the new month :) This is the Christmas gift that will keep giving all year long!
This week at The Cutting Cafe we could pick any file that we wanted to use. I used the 2013 Calendar Printable Stamp Set. I LOVE Regina's Calendar Files because they come with a lot of different sizes so you can find the perfect one for your project. My sentiment that I used on this is also from The Cutting Cafe and is from the Snowflake Huge Circle Printable Stamp Set. The 28th has a pretty sparkly heart on it because that is my Grandma's Birthday :)
This week at Loves Rubberstamps the theme is New Year Celebrations and what better way to celebrate the New Year than with a spiffy new Calendar :) Saturated Canary is our Guest Sponsor this week so you will want to be sure and play along! The image on my Calendar Page is a new release Saturated Canary stamp called Winter's Day. I colored this using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink Markers. You can't really see it very well in this picture but I embossed with iridescent ice on the snowman, snow area and the snowflakes for a slight shimmer.
Here is a close up of my image:
And here is my Calendar page in the acrylic frame on my fridge ;)
I chose my colors for this from the Saturated Canary Challenge to use this photograph as your inspiration for your project:
Love those pretty blues, white sparkles, and silver! Such a pretty color combo I had to play along :)
I also wanted to share with you a couple of pictures from our blizzard... I only got to take two before my camera died...
This is looking out the side garage door into the yard and this was after my husband made a wee path next to the garage so we could actually open the side door to get out without having to open the big garage door. We got all of this snow in one day, and it was our first snow of the year!
This is the front door to our house and the small deck on the front, the snow is as high as the top stairs and you can see how it drifted in front of the door...we still haven't unburied or made a path to here...we just use the garage side door - LOL! The snow is this deep through the whole yard, there is no shallow spots - it is just a huge, solid pile of snow!
Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to check out the Inspiration Blog Post at The Cutting Cafe later today to see what my fellow Design Team members made. I love the Anything Goes week because I always see so many files used that I haven't ran across in the store! It is always fun to see what everyone chooses! While you are there leave a comment on the post and you will have the chance to win 3 of Regina's awesome files...that you get to choose!
Also be sure to play along in the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week too... we have some awesome prizes this week :)
Happy Stampin!

Merry Christmas Eve!
Hi Stampers!
It is Christmas Eve!! Hard to believe that Christmas is tomorrow! Tonight we will be heading over to my brother's house for our traditional Christmas Eve family get together. We always have Chili and at least 2 other soups and my sister-in-law always has a gazillion pounds of Christmas Candy that she makes every year. It is so good! We always do a White Elephant Christmas Gift exchange which is a ton of fun. It will be a blast. I am grateful that my Grandma is feeling well enough to be there. The Christmas Eve Chili Tradition was started by my Grandpa many years ago and we carry it on in his memory. That way it is like a part of him is there celebrating with us.
Do you have any plans for Christmas Eve? Any fun family traditions that you do every year?
Today we have an adorable card for you from Olivia! This is the last of her Christmas card projects and it is totally cute!
Olivia used the super cute Kraftin Kimmie Stamp called Joy. This is from the Moonlight Whispers Collection and it was a new style of character that was for one of their Holiday Releases. Olivia did a beautiful job coloring her image and she paper pieced her outfit! Olivia is awesome at paper piecing! I love the simple layout that allows the image to be the star!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and if you celebrating with family tonight - enjoy yourself and have a great time!
Please be sure to check out our Sensational Sunday Inspirations from the ladies this week! They did an AWESOME job! Some gorgeous projects you won't want to miss! Plus if you leave a comment you could win yourself some goodies!
Happy Stampin!

This card is sooooo adorable! This is my favorite image from Saturated Canary right now anyway - LOL! The colors that Marcy chose for this festive gal are PERFECT! That ruffled ribbon with bling is just gorgeous! I love everything about this piece - the colors, the lay out, the bling and accent pieces! Marcy did an amazing job! This is a perfect Holiday project! ♥ ♥ ♥ THIS!!
I think this is just gorgeous! I love how Lydia allowed the gorgeous designs of the designer paper be the star on her card! That sentiment is so pretty and I love the bling flourish! Those double ribbons add the perfect touch! This would be an awesome Valentine's Day project...which will be here before you know it!
This is such a fun party card that is perfect for the upcoming Holiday & New year parties you maybe going too! I love the papers and the bling that Kelli added to her card! Those three gorgeous gals are colored perfectly and I LOVE L-O-V-E how Kelli created the itty bitty shadows! Awesome!!
This card is so cute! I love the mostly monochromatic color scheme and think that the turquoise is such a gorgeous color for icy, wintery feeling cards! Katie colored her snowlady perfectly and I love those icicles! That bow is absolutely gorgeous! I think Katie should do some videos on bow making ;D I could use them - LOL!
I think this card is absolutely gorgeous! Shanna does such an amazing job coloring her images yo! I love how she created a frame for this adorable Magnolia image, Browns and Blues are one of my favorite color combos for Winter cards! I love this lay out and the accents are PERFECT! Gorgeous job!
Wow! I am just blown away each week by these amazing ladies! Their talent is just incredible! I apologize that this was late in getting posted today! Hopefully this week things here will get back to normal as long as we have no more blizzards! Now that my husband bought his snow plow blade and new snowblower... we will never have snow again in Iowa! YAY! Now THAT would not hurt my feelings any - LOL!
Have a wonderful day and if you are traveling drive safe!
Happy Stampin!

Welcome to our Sensational Sunday Inspirations post! Sorry this is posting late! It is actually very early in the wee hours of Monday Morning!
Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend with family & friends! I spent the day trying to get caught up on the stuff for our holiday get together tomorrow, trying to re-organize my inventory room to start getting ready for tax preparations and running around like a crazy woman, and losing track of time! I wanted to get most of my stuff done today so I can have the morning to pre-write the blog posts for the next few days while we are celebrating Christmas :) Love this time of year but boy can time get away from you!

Winter Cardinal
Hi Stampers!
Well this is the last shopping weekend for Christmas! I am finishing mine up today, just have a couple of things left to get. I didn't get my Christmas cards made this year (as usual) I think my New Year Resolution will be to make about 2 or 3 Christmas cards every month so I will have some to send at Christmas time. Now Jacqueline has been rocking out some gorgeous Christmas cards since about September!
I love this fat little cardinal! This is an image from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps who is this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Guest Sponsor. You will want to be sure to play along because you could win some of their awesome digi stamps :)
Jacqueline did such a beautiful job with her layers and all of the textures. I always seem to see something new whenever I look at her beautiful work! That gorgeous sentiment is from the Flourishes stamp set called A Season of Celebration.
If you are traveling for the Holidays drive safely!
Happy Stamping!

Cutest Elf Ever!
Good afternoon stampers!
Well we survived the blizzard here in Iowa and the world didn't end yet - both of which are good things! It has been quite the last few days! A huge THANK YOU to Holly for stepping in and doing the blog post for me yesterday! Writing a blog post from my cell phone would not have been fun! Plus my phone LOVES to change words being the smart phone that it is...so who knows what crazy things would have ACTUALLY posted - LOL! Could have been quite entertaining!
Wednesday night when the snow and blizzard started it was just a very heavy, wet, snow that was coming down super fast, but there wasn't really much wind or anything. After it snowed for about 2 hours we started getting thundersnow, which we haven't had for a long time. It was lightning a lot and it was super super bright. The thunder was super loud too. Basically it sounded and looked like a massive thunderstorm but we were getting snow instead. Thundersnow means you're going to get a LOT of it and fast! We ended up getting about 12" total. After we got about 7" the winds started and we were having sustained winds of 30 - 40 mph with gusts to 55 for all of Thursday into last night. So that was creating white outs and snapping tree branches and power lines since they were so weighted down with the heavy snow.
It is super calm today but also extremely cold with all this snow! Today will be spent trying to find our front door - LOL - since it is buried in drifts. Its good that we can get out through the garage! I took a few pictures to share but I need to get some new batteries for the camera first. Needless to say, my husband received a very nice Christmas present... a new snowplow blade for his truck AND a new snowblower...because after I had to help him shovel the driveway & sidewalk Wednesday night after the first 6 inches and the winds started....I was NOT doing that again - LOL! As heavy as this snow is, when the plows come through and put 3 foot high piles at the end of your driveway...yeah... I was not shoveling THAT!
My husband was supposed to be getting the blade put on his truck today. I can only assume he has and is now out snowplowing the entire state of Iowa to test it out because he is not answering his cell phone - LOL! Boys and their new toys! Oh well...saves me from having to shovel which was worth every penny!
Now onto what you really stop here for... to see today's inspirational card! Today is Friday which means it is a Holly-Day!
This is one of my FAVORITE Christmas stamps this season! This is Christmas Elf Marci from La La Land! Holly did a super cute job coloring her up! I always love the super rosy cheeks that Holly does on her La La characters! Makes you want to just want to pinch them - LOL! I love this simple layout and the minimal embellishments because this cutie doesn't need much for accents - this is such a great stand alone image. I love those adorable designer papers too!
Hope you have a Happy Holly-Day today! I will be busy here packing some orders to try and get to the post office before they close today because the mail hasn't been delivered or picked up since Tuesday with the weather. I will also be catching up on emails too.
Be safe this weekend - especially if your traveling!

Let's Chill
Hi There Happy Stampers. Laura's power is currently out due to the weather and so I am subbing for today's post. How is the weather in your neck of the woods? Want to know something funny? I live in California and just the past two days it has dipped down to freezing. This morning it took a whole 15 minutes for my window to defrost enough ice so I could mostly see, lol. I was all upset about that until I thought about the weather in the rest of the country, lol. So then I felt a bit more thankful. Also my heat has been out for week and the part was on order....You can only imagine what a spoiled Californian does to handle a little bit of cold weather, lol. I came home from work tonight to find it fixed!!! I am so happy to be comfortable again in my own home. We've got it blasting now, lol.
Today is my super talented co-designer - Ceal's day for the Thursday Inspiration post. And what an adorable card she has made for you.
Isn't this so cute? I love the red and kraft colors she used and the fabulous embossing with this Paper Smooches set called Swanky Snowdudes. This set is going to be so great for Christmas and Winter cards, along with all your winter scrapbooking needs. I also love the twine she added to the top. I don't know about you, but I can never have enough snowmen for all the scrapbooking I think I am going to get done, lol.
Have you seen the NEW items in the store? If not, you will want to head on over and make yourself a list. I'm sure there are some after the Holly-Days gifts you'll want to get yourself. You deserve the reward, after all the shopping, cooking and preparing you did for everyone else, right? Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol. And remember, if there is a company line that Laura carries, but you don't see a particular item in the store you are looking for, simply send her off an email and she will be happy to let you know when she can get that for you. Just as soon as her power is back up and running.
Also to remind you, there is plenty of time to play in our current Challenge for a chance to win some fabulous prizes. It's all about the Holidays - whatever you are celebrating this season.
Okay, enjoy this inspirational card and have a great evening and come back tomorrow, I may be posting my own card, lol. Hope your power comes on again soon Laura!!!

All Roads Lead Home
Hi Stampers!
Are you all done with your Christmas shopping? I have just a couple more things to get and then need to do a little holiday baking I think :) One thing I know I need to make but shouldn't because they are soooo hard to stop eating is some oreo mint truffles. YUMMMOO! I will let you know what I end up making :)
Today we have a really pretty and festive card from Olivia! She used a gorgeous stamp from Wild Rose Studio's Annabelle's Christmas Collection called Annabelle with Sledge.
Isn't this gorgeous? This stamp line intimidates me a little bit because off all the details but Olivia colored it up beautifully! I love the added spots of bling in the tees, and the ground. Those beautiful papers are from the Festive Collection from Authentique. Turned out so pretty.
Well, I am off to pack a couple of orders so I can get them out today and then will be going to my Weight Watchers meeting. Wish me luck because I don't feel like the scale is going to like me this week! But I am hoping for a pleasant surprise!
Have a wonderful day all!

It's a Holly-Day!
Good Evening Stampers -
I am sure that your hearts are heavy as mine is after hearing the horrific news coming out of Newport, CT today. Such a senseless tragedy! My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their friends and families, and all of the responders and medical personnel that had to work a scene like that. I can't even imagine what they went through today, and I pray that no one anywhere, would have to go through anything like this again. It just makes no sense, that is what makes it even harder to grasp.
Here on the home front, whenever I need some cheering up, I don't have to look far...just to my inbox to see what cuteness awaits me for the day's inspirational post! Today is a Holly-Day and she has created an extra adorable card for you today :)
I have to confess, that sometimes, like when I saw this super cute card for the first time, I squeal out loud at how cute it is! And then I have to wait for the right day to come to be able to share it with you :) Sometimes it is tough because I want to share it right that second - LOL!
Holly created this Holiday Cutie using Autumn Marci from La La Land. I adore how Holly colored her image and I always get a kick out of the little rosy cheeks that she does! My absolute FAVORITE color combination for Winter and Christmas cards is red, kraft and vanilla... and Holly used it perfectly! This layout is awesome and the embossed background really makes the card shine. Those gorgeous papers are from the Bo Bunny Mistletoe collection.
Holly kept her creation in the theme of this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge of Let It Snow! I hope that you get a chance to play along with us because we have an AWESOME prize package this week!
Also, be sure to leave a comment on our Sensational Sunday Inspirations Post so you have a chance to win this week's Blog Candy!
Well I am off to get a few orders packed and then I need to hit the hay! I just got mandatoried in to work an exciting 3am - 3pm shift! GRRRR and UUUUUUGGGGGHHHH! I will be ecstatic when my vacation starts next week! Even though that means it will be even closer to going back to working the stinky overnight shift again. Days like this I just remind myself how fortunate I am to be employed as many people are not, so I shouldn't complain :)
Take care alll & be sure to give extra big squeezes to your loved ones today and always!

A Cup of Cozy Wishes
Hi Stampers!
I have a bonus post for you today :) I had a chance to escape to my stampin studio while my husband was playing Black Ops 2 and switching between that and football. I decided to play along in this week's Kraftin Kimmie Challenge because it has been a little while since I had the opportunity to play in one. This week they had a fun sketch challenge. I love sketch challenges because I can never come up with good ones on my own - LOL!
Here is the sketch:
And here is my card:
I still need to get some Christmas cards made before my last resort of... ugh ... store bought! Shame on me I know! I love this cute snowman from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps called A Cup of Cozy Wishes. I used papers from the Winter Wishes paper pack from Echo Park, which will be loaded in our store very soon :)
The snowflakes are made with glitter paper and the Snowflake Wonder Spellbinders dies. I added some sparkly gems to dress them up a bit too. The embossed snowflake in my background is from the Tattered Angels set called Chillin'.
I colored the snowman using spectrum noir alcohol markers and added dazzling diamonds to her snowbody. Here is a closer look at her:
I hope you enjoyed my card today :) Be sure to check back later this morning for your Happy Holly-Day Inspirational post!
Thanks for stopping by!
Laura

Laura
